Ater Omen reacted to Helrym in There was an interview? Nice to know
Dear HQ-Team,
today i found out there was a interview that happend on twitch: Source (start 1h 33min)
Good thing i have a few ingame friends who have ears open to find out about such things.
Because i can forget to look up the twitter or even the forum which should be one of the major connection points between player-base and the Game-Team.
But there is no information in the forum what was talked about in the interview (Summary or minutes of meeting) or that is even happend!
A summary would be very importent as we would have actuall facts about what is going on where is the journey taking us it would also help a lot of people who dont have the time to watch it or are unable to do so( slow internet, being in puplic, language difficulty or having hearing problems).
kind regards,
Helrym

You can remove the element and hit backspace to undo, this will apply current talents.
@Haunty I tested everything, it is apparently working.

This is utterly false. It is always "nice to hear", but is proven to be false.

Ater Omen got a reaction from Serbet in “Marketplace Heist” Response
While I find the heist inacceptable, I am shocked by the decision of permaban, a temporary ban (even long) would be better imo. Maybe this has been done to send a message to players for future abuses...
You know markets are not player structures and this rule does not apply here, common sense should have stopped you from stealing anything.

Values are correct aswell.

flaw or fault in a computer program or system that causes it to produce an incorrect or unexpected result
Open RDMS in market in a Dual Universe that causes it to allow player to enter build mode on market.
Actually colored it.
Also please pay attention (assuming you copied it from wikipedia) to first sentence of second paragraph.
"Most bugs arise from mistakes and errors made in either a program's design or its source code...."

Ater Omen reacted to JayleBreak in Now available: In-game 2D Voxel Planner/Builder
About a year ago, I wrote the 2D Voxel Planner now found on "dual.sh". I'm
now introducing a fully in-game construct that combines an enhanced 2D voxel
planner with an integrated voxel board.
Free blueprints for the planner/builder can be obtained at the Objective
Driveyards shipyards. The entrance is at ::pos{0,2,23.4393,73.7082,3.5773}
The blueprint is labled "2Dplus Voxel Planner Builder"
The "plus" refers to the support for multiple (12) "layers" of 2 dimensional
voxel plans. These layers can be stacked together to produce 3 dimensional
objects. In the picture, on the right, is a voxel board that is the source
of voxels placed on the assembly board on the left. In the center is the
planning terminal with a "scratch" voxel board behind it.
To illustrate how things work, I will walk through the creation of a truncated
cone. The process begins by sitting in the provided chair and activating the
program board. Note that your plan is saved in a databank on program board
deactivation, change of layer, or change of page. The plans for up to 3
different avatars are seperately tracked (the number can be increased by adding
additional databanks).

Part of problem, support (especialy in discord and probably in tickets too) is completly clogged by smartasses (or idiots) who spam to teleport them or ships after they crush or muck up res nodes or something every single day... when its 100% their gameplay trouble/error.
While I not name names obviously, but there is some people who already bothered support dozens upon dozens of times with "i need teleport" thing. They all waste already not perfect support team available resource.
So may be first logical step will be get rid of them some way.

We dont know the full context.
In how many previous explois have those same players participated?
Have all of them been banned? If not, what was the criteria?
All we have seen was NQ saying they have seen 100% intention againt rules and reacted, and some ppl saying "poor me, im banned"
But does that count as context?

Ater Omen got a reaction from vertex in “Marketplace Heist” Response
@Elrood So what should NQ do? continue to not punish players for current exploits because they did nothing for past cases? I'm sure it's not what you want. Should they make a soft transition for their rules enforcement to not shock players?
We complain when they do nothing, we complain when they act, all of this while we don't even know what happen behind the scenes, what's their powers and what they can really act on. I wish they could act on everything like omnicient gods, but I don't think it's the case. The salt comes from the permaban which, as I said, is too much imo especially in the context you mentionned.

The devs are continually under estimating players, this time they did not even expect them to hit 'B' .
