I really just don’t understand why miners and industry territory beacons, weapons AGGs, warp beacons don’t require fuel to run.
    They are perpetual engines.

even NMS has better fuel and power management gameplay than this game, and that’s a casual minecraft like game.

imagine if it actually required copious amounts of energy to keep everything running. Balanced correctly that would keep things in check far more than stupid taxes and keep consumption rates high.

element maintenance requiring bolts, pipes and chambers etc should obviously be a thing. Every x hours a component on your ship needs one or more of the parts it’s made from replacing.  Leaving it unmaintained would cause it to degrade and eventually need replacing.

the gameplay could be simple like repairing but instead of just scrap, it needs the actual parts in your active container.

Or it could be more involved like swapping the parts with working parts (using a new swap tool) and taking the broken parts to a dedicated service station

even these alone would ensure greater need for parts and services.

I don’t even understand the concept of taxes. It’s like teenagers came up with the game design.

so much of this game design revolves around aphelia that players are demoted to secondary tier members. So much for player controlled.

more like players controlled… by big brother.

Nonsense bot missions to bot receivers that have no relevance to actual market stock or availability of items.

Have to buy permission to make stuff from bots on a machine by machine basis.

The only central markets that exist are bot run and must pay the bot tax to sell your wares. Players become mere clients.

Sell ore to bots. Ore disappears.

Pay bots to activate your mining machines and equipment in a particular area of land for a specific time.

Remotely deactivated by aphelia for non payment… what kind of nonsense is this?

    same goes for industry.

the whole lore and head canon for this game is so dystopian and arbitrary it’s as if zero thought went into it…

When they get rid of Schematics, energy distribution of some sort needs to be implemented anyways, not just for the drills but also for the Industry. We'll face a lot of "pending operations" otherwise.

I like the idea to get rid of the taxes and use the old system but get a money sink because of the fuel for the drills.

I use this card currently with specs a little lower than you except for RAM which I switched to 64 GB. It makes no difference, I have everything disable, FOV at 75 (any higher crashes the game for me) and both shadows off. If I change any of the above the game becomes laggy and my PC starts a small fire and the hamster running it comes out and yells at me ?

ya I've gone through all this with Empyrion Galactic Survival and having to rebuild my ships after every patch.  I knew this would happen here as well and didn't spend much time in the beta because of this.  But I am goin to give the new voxel tool a test drive and gain some skill and knowledge with it.  The only way I feel they can fix this is a full wipe.... but more game breaking patches need to happen before this game can be released.

    "Insane amount of exploits..."
-- There were probably half a dozen that had any lasting impact. Some directly lead to comments by NQ not to exploit or face consequences... like the unlimited range container bug and the Market Place 15 disassembly leading to players being banned... Though I believe the exact exploit you're likely talking about were the 1ℏ blueprints (slight exaggeration)... IIRC Someone bought a dozen or so warp beacon, AGG and Warp drive bloops and auctioned them off at half the market rate or something and got billions of ℏ in a few days. Sure that's unfair, but I don't know if he or she still even plays any more.
