    Hello,

Most of the time we post about things that are wrong with the game or about questionable decisions by NQ.

But I have to say that the solution that NQ came up with about the AGG towers is very good. It's also good to recognize when they do something right.

The people who have these towers gain some height (they are happy about that) and the others will no longer find themselves avoiding 3000m high towers.

    Thanks NQ

We've been saying this for years: stop releasing stuff, waiting till everyone assumes it's permanent (in this case, even telling people calibration spam isn't an exploit), then stealth-nerfing it (dropping it in a patch with no forewarning), and being surprised players are annoyed/leaving... and NOT adding anything new. Far better to address inflation by giving players more stuff to spend money on than constantly dialling up the grind! It would be super easy. Add some more expensive lumi colours or semi-transparent lumi, some more coloured force fields, ways to earn/buy old collectibles, element skins, XL elevators (that can cross a whole L core)... new money sinks instead of forced poverty equals fun/gameplay. I wish they'd show some imagination.

PS: I spent most of my 3 mill bonus loyalty TP on maxing out calibration points that I'll never now be able to use. I refund would have made sense. But hey, we're used to getting stuffed around.

This game is not Dual Universe its "Time Gate : Economy Destruction. Time to tax edition"

The issues DU faces are the same issues from the beta. they wiped for no reason as we will soon be back to the same issue as the beta only worse.

You released the game in a unfinished state, why because you needed more money?

The economy was ruined in the beta and its ruined again. Don't learn from the beta lets just wipe it again and then do the same thing again with no changes and hope it changes. insanity?

    PVP is a joke.

The economy is like fish, big orgs eat the little guys and the little guys have to join or die eventually leading to massive fall of of players and will lead to just the largest orgs fighting each other by market manipulation and just the market death when played too hard they will just use their own systems to self regulate inner trade. and any fresh blood will have no hope of playing solo or starting a new org ect.

I gave the warning in discord that we would see the game die in 3 months after launch, its already showing signs, soon this game will be in the same boat as worlds adrift.

I'm going to give you some ideas to take with a grain of salt.

    1. Remove skill system, just trash it. if you want a skill system make it interactive with what you are doing at the time.

    2. Systems need to be placed we need a bot economy that has a low buy order and high sell order for people to compete with to make their money

    3.  Systems should also be placed for basic needs such as ship insurance ship renting ect ect all the basic systems you want players to make make them bot run at a high ish cost that players can try to compete with.

    4. Bring back life into the game. Drop the pay wall start bringing in cosmetics that cost money and use that as the main money generator.

    5. Actually listen to your community.

    Hello Noveans,

It has recently come to our attention that a number of static constructs have been deployed at an altitude above what we previously had defined as the vertical limit of around 1000m.  At this time we are unsure why this limit is not being applied as intended, and we are currently investigating this issue in order to resolve this.

As we are revisiting this limit while it is not currently functioning, we will be exploring our options to implement a more adjustable approach in order to have different limits for different planets. If successful we will also eventually be including this value at a later date in the shipped atlas.lua file, allowing Lua control units to also read this value for each planet and use it to fly above static constructs.

Why are you stifling my dream of building a tower that connects a moon to a planet!?
We also want to be clear about the reason for this limit, it is not here to stifle your dreams of building large towers and structures made of multiple static constructs. It is here, so we can ensure a reasonably safe boundary layer for atmospheric flight by all our players without the concern of encountering a random building in your flightpath while flying at high speeds. Chances are, the build limits will likely be slightly more accommodating than the previous system and allow for slightly more building height in the end, this however remains to be seen.

So what about the existing constructs that are not adhering to this restriction?
Well, as we are unsure why this build limit suddenly deactivated and we are refining it anyway. We will allow these constructs to remain for two weeks beyond the implementation of the new height restriction system. Two weeks after the new restrictions are in place, we will begin removing  or moving any static constructs beyond the defined altitude limit of each planet to ensure they are not inside the boundary layer. Keep an eye on the upcoming change logs for a list of the altitudes for each planet.

I hope this clears up any and all confusion on the topic, and thank you all for reading.

    Deprovements
[Mining Unit Tutorial] During the Mining Unit calibration, the player can no longer lock themselves using the ESC key. [Mining Unit] Added mining and calibration time restrictions preventing Players from picking them up as intended and move them while active or recently calibrated or started when zero ore is remaining on the territory. We missed the opportunity to make ore more scarce so fixed it while introducing another time-sink on high demand from the players, just like the purple voxels! [Mining Unit] Implemented better  Any feedback. Updated the ingame credits.
    Fixed it

An eye dropper tool would be incredibly useful.  I would love to have it.

I usually copy a single voxel, or a chunk of voxels, of the material i want to use, and then paste without dominance, to use it as a sort of paintbrush.  Saves the step of actually equipping the material.

Not to derail the thread too much.  But what i would REALLY like, is for Honeycomb to be simplified into just the basic materials.  So when you want to use Steel Honeycomb for example, you would just equip "Steel Honeycomb" and then choose a color/pattern from a palette, and then deploy it.  And when you delete it, you get back the same base honeycomb material.  That way i wouldn't have to store 5000 different types of honeycomb.

I know NQ has mentioned that they would like to do this.  But i really hope they make it a priority.

It would make Blueprints much easier to deploy.

It would encourage players to experiment with more of the available colors and patterns.

And i think most importantly it would make the base Honeycomb materials into a commodity that could actually be bought and sold successfully on the markets.

Seems to work for support:  Once they "pass on" an issue they close the ticket.  No tracking to see if issues are resolved, just pass it on and close it.

Wouldn't it be nice to get an e-mail along the lines of "Dear Pleione - we wanted to let you know that your issues #12345 should be resolved in the patch that goes live this Saturday.  Thank you for reporting issues - it is key to making this a better game".

Lets not even start with wild concepts like "Report bug" automatically taking a screen shot, running a dx-diag if the output file is old or missing, grabbing the last 15 minutes of log files, and having all that ready as attachments when the screen requesting a description shows up.

Or, how about, and here is a shocker, having the debug option "clear cache" remove the shader cache file while it was at it.

You know, its not like they haven't had 6+ years to develop tools to help us help them.

Maybe, even, just a small doc that describes how to find an event in the log files?  Just documentation guys... no coding needed.

I tried to have a discussion with people on DU Discord about this. It was like talking to six year olds...

I asked, "where do the people who make things get their money from to buy ore and for their schematics?"
They said, "from selling things they don't use themselves to people who don't make things."
"And where does those people's money come from to buy the stuff?" I asked...
And they said, "from selling ore to people who make things..."

They literally couldn't comprehend the circular argument and the massive schematic (outgoing) faucet.

No wonder the world is in the current state it's in when people have no idea how simple maths works.

... and actually suggesting a feature, which I know is about as likely as an immaculate conception ocurring in 2022, but here goes:

For the love of all the gods, please grant us an EYE DROPPER tool when building... I want to be able to point at something and press a key and have that material or that element selected automatically.

Currently, in typical NQ fashion we have to mouse over, wait for the material or element name to pop up to see what it is exactly, open our inventory and type in some long winded descriptive name, double click on it in our inventory (if we spelt it right) and press escape to close the inventory.

Imagine mousing over a material and pressing "." or "," to immediately having it selected from your active inventory!!!   Alas, this is really super-high level programming so it will likely never arrive...

And while you're at it, please give us a VOXEL NUDGE tool, like we have with elements... Select some voxels and nudge them in an XYZ direction without cutting them first... I hate having to cut something only to have to spend 30 seconds trying to align it again when our XYZ keys are seemingly chosen at random.

My thoughts on this topic have been posted a few times so I'll keep it brief this time.  1)  Meteor strikes are a real phenomenon and could be implemented into the lore of why we get surface respawns.  2)  The current grind is too steep for solo players who want to experience anything other than flying other people's ships for NPC missions.

    Dear NQ,

The wallet has been in the game for a while and I think it would be nice if it had some improvements.

    Money transfer:
All organization the player is in should be available as choice (instead of having to search)
People are transferring money most of the time to one of their org.
It will reduce the call to the server due the fact that the recipient ID is already known, it will also prevent miss typing and errors. If we are managing the org, the player name should be available as choice (instead of having to search)
    (same as above)
      Territories management:
We should be able to see the number of tile (filtered or not)
Useful to calculate the quanta we will need to inject. We should be able to bulk send money to a selection of tile (could use the filter) A better filter would be great, being able to filter only with the name is not enough.
I would love to be able to filter all inactive tile, or all tile with a balance under 500k
    Kind regards

Same. I was really disappointed in the the "announcement". And I felt sorry for Shamsie for being thrown under the buss by NQ like this. He did his best with what he was given, but as that was next to nothing, it was all just "meh".

NQ really has to step up their game and show that they are committed and willing to improve DU or players will just give up. I play this game every day, but I have to be honest and say that it is disheartening to see how bad NQ is at managing player expectations and generally how little they interact with the community. We all get it, they can't share detailed roadmaps with dates, but they can share the general direction and they *need to*, otherwise the only conclusion that can be drawn is that they have no direction or goals.

It is supposed to be entertaining and relaxing/exhilarating, not something you sit around and just wait for....or as is the case, do other things than playing the game.
