Considering those of us who were Founders are still waiting 6 years later for all of our Kickstarter rewards, I'd comfortably say don't hold your breath. 

WHERE ARE OUR REWARDS?

I think the Founders have been more than patient. Most of us contributed back in 2016 with an expected delivery date of 2018. We were later told that there were delays, and that we would receive our rewards "soon". Soon became "later", and then "before game release date". Here we are on release day, and we're still left waiting. As a Ruby founder, I was promised the following: 


 
I am still waiting. This is not right. I have made several inquiries via email, and through these forums, and I either get a blanket statement of "soon", or I am ignored. This is gone on for too long. JC and the team need to address this. Today. It's launch day and we're all feeling pretty cheated. 
 

Be sure to follow the flight tutorial. This new system for the tutorials, and being able to access them within your included base is a really nice feature. They've definitely made some real improvements in this regard. Will help a lot of people get started in the game. Was one of my biggest gripes early on. 

Seems like you're not alone assuming this thread is something else than a "discussion thread". The premise was "What will you do with your DACs and other digital Kickstarter rewards, Noveans?" - so the only thing that should go here is praise about all the awesome stuff you'll do with your in-game pets 'n stuff, mkay? It's not meant for you to ask questions. You may discuss your plans with your pets tho, mkay? Oh wait, wait, let me clarify: You may discuss with other Noveans - not with NQ.
 
Srsly, NQ started this thread and didn't give a single response since then. As always. Did you just join the ride or were you guys asleep for the past 6 years? NQ doesn't answer anything in threads. I should start selling NQ Question Bricks. You could place it on your desk and ask about DU all day long. It would answer all your questions exactly the same way as NQ would - an emulation with up to a guaranteed 105.3% precision. Look at my early concept art. Anyone interested in a premium version?

Yup. It's been YEARS now. This is what I was promised as a RUBY founder:

As an Alpha Ruby Founder, I was promised quite a bit for my generous contribution to this project. Like many other founders, I'm wondering what's going on. 

It's been several years since the contribution was made, and TWO YEARS since the promised delivery date. I can't even get someone to reply to my emails to put in a change of address. Remember it's been YEARS since I made my initial contribution. This is bordering on criminal.  Just to refresh your memory, Ruby founders were promised the following by DECEMBER 2018:

Wipe it clean and start everyone from zero. 

I walked away from this game after being an Alpha Ruby founder because of my frustration of previous wipes ruining all of my progress, as well as bugs and other issues hindering my progress. Years later, I came back and saw that I was back to zero, and others had massive constructs, ships and everything, and I came in basically having to relearn the game with zero resources, and most of my schematics and all my ships gone. 

It's definitely not fair that some would be left with this huge advantage while others are starting with nothing. 

With that said, you can't ask the community to keep dedicating time and effort to a project only to have it wiped away again and again, especially with the ridiculously snail pace at which you have set the game up to be able to do anything substantial. An individual player would have to work for weeks or months in order to build a starship under current conditions. I still believe this is a huge obstacle to play. Still, even if you don't change this... especially if you don't change this, asking the community to dedicate time and effort to harvest, build and create only to suffer another wipe is a bridge too far. 

If you are going to do a wipe, it needs to be the LAST wipe. 

Make it clear what you need to do in order to have a "release build" and once all those pieces are in place, do a final wipe and start over, never to wipe again. I left for years because of a wipe, and I'm not about to dedicate time fumbling around in the minutia of this game only to see my progress wiped out again. I am very unhappy with this game already, and this would really do me in, as I'm sure it would many others. Novaquark really needs to sit down, figure out what their endgame is with the development, and decide when they would be done with having to make any further wipes. 

Make one more final wipe, when you are 100% sure you are done with everything you need to do that would require a wipe, and then move forward. 

Otherwise you are asking way too much of your community, and you will lose what little support you have left. 


BTW, over 5 years later, and I'm still waiting on my physical rewards. 

It's hard not to feel scammed.

Some good news. I got an email from Support telling me that everyone is on vacation for the holidays, but that someone should be getting back to me after 01/06/2021. Fingers crossed.

No, that's not the problem. I'm Ruby Founder as well and it works for me. It seems to be an account related issue that needs to be fixed on NQ side. That's quite annoying if the support doesn't even respond.

The last update I got about it was an email on Dec. 4th saying the rewards are almost complete and to make sure your address is correct. Not sure how to get to your address info from account page but this is the link in the email: https://www.dualuniverse.game/account/kickstarter
