This will made much part of game play for mission runners useless. Mission runners will not need to wait while their clients will grab the mission packages... Why would you wait for someone if you can do all by your self? And this is bad for making sense in grouping people together.

    Definitely voting NO.

Voicing frustration isn't what i'm talking about though.  It's the personal attacks against the devs and the constant negative spamming and derailing in every topic.

It's possible to be frustrated and still manage some level of pragmatic communication.  If people are voicing their frustration because they want to change the game so it's better, then cool.  If they're just venting, then please call the customer service hotline and ask to speak to a manager.

It's not like i'm worried about the dev's feelings.  I'm sure they can handle it.  I'm just afraid the way they handle it, is by taking a break from the forums for a while.  That's what i'd do.

Fair enough, had a read of one of your topics. Did NQ not state they are doing something similar with the HQ tile idea? That system would mean builders having land that would never enter abandon state and would only have to pay tax to mine on it etc.

As for the scan data. There is still time and the video was made last week. That decision can be overturned with correct pressure / feedback.

    Wow this got derailed fast

DU is alright, Demeter has it's problems sure, but it's not a complete trainwreck as the vocal ppl make it sound like. Won't stop me from playing, I actually hadn't played in a few months, but came back when I heard about the coming changes. We'll see how it ends up like, but I see more good than bad in it. Not everyone is mad about it, there's players like me who are actually waiting for the patch silently while the forums burn down with hate.

I thought that this never ending stream of complains may be really tiring for the devs so I wanted to give them some appreciation instead. Why do I like Dual Universe:
I love building stuff I love engineering stuff even more I think that the flying model in game is great I'm an active PvP player and I really appreciate all the changes done in the game to make PvP meaningful (that's actualy the reason why I got back to it) Vast space, different planets and space travel are really fun at the game I like the crafting mechanics and blueprints systems I like the elaborated organization systems and gameplay that emerges from them Although I see there are tons of bugs in the game I see that it is slowly getting more stable
Lately I managed to bring back to the game three of my friends and I'm actively working on more. Good job NQ keep working on my favourite space game

Ps. Yes I do see the problems that this game has but I also know that Dual Universe is a great place to spend time in.

Instead of having a fixed warp speed for all ships I suggest adjusting the maximum warp speed based on the core of the ship. Smaller cores aligns, spools and warps faster than larger cores. Maybe have XS cores use the old speeds, S cores a bit faster than currently, M cores about what it is now and L cores a bit slower.

Hi, imho with the change and the mining unit you can add some ressources on asteroids.

    1. Add a low chance of T1 Meganode in T4 asteroids and higher in T5 asteroids
    2. Add asteroids on Symeon/Ion/Lacobus
    3. Don't allow PVP asteroids spawn at less than 10SU of the safezone
    4. Add a button for stop the DSAT (with a dynamic cross section who reduce when you stop it)
    5. Don't add asteroids only on Saturday and Sunday, but throughout the week with a duration of 7 days per asteroids. Giving more interest to the rest of the week and not concentrating all the activity on these two days only.

Feriniya reacted to Knight-Sevy in Add Maximum capacity points on flying ship
    Needs to add 2 things:

    1) Maximum capacity points on a ship
    Example :
An S core would have 12,000 pts of capacity
    Items use this ability:
    - engine L / Fuel Tank L: 300 pts
    - adjustor L / hover L / Vboost L / Fuel tank M: 50 pts
    - Wing L / Brake L: 60 pts
    ect ...

This will make it possible to specialize the ships.

    2) With the introduction of ability points introduce element thirds from basic to rare.
Higher tier items will not cost more in ability points but would have higher stats.

This will allow the player to have ships that can continue to carry whatever they want. And will allow NQ to dragstically reduce the "element wall" effect.

If you are allowed to use radar while in warp to scan for ships; then radar works and you get all ships, including fellow warpers. seems fair.

Feriniya reacted to Kormolos in core capacity
hello, for the limitation of the elements on a vessel, I would see one thing which has already been said but by adding an important detail.
namely a nucleus would have a capacity and each element would take points on this capacity. much like guns take points on the gunner seat.
the trick is that if the number of points exceeds the capacity of the kernel then the pilot seat or the remote control will refuse to activate.
the voxels could also take points on the kernel ....
a T2 or T5 core would have more capacity than a T1 core
    What do you think ?
this will create quite a fiting gameplay, expertise in ship design. certain seeking to put less engine to be able to put more container or voxel?
in short it would be really great I think

    Dear Noveans,

Earlier this year, we announced that JC was transitioning to a new role as a board member and board advisor and that Nicolas Granatino, a long-standing backer of Novaquark via Andurance Venture, had been appointed chairman of the board.

We’re happy to share with you today that Nouredine Abboud has joined the company as CEO of Novaquark. Nouredine has more than 15 years of experience in the industry and brings a wealth of knowledge and expertise with an impressive catalog of work that includes Ubisoft’s Ghost Recon games.

As CEO, his primary focus is on the business side of things, so you probably won’t see him participating on the forums much. As we reach the final stretch leading to the launch of the game, the team already in place will continue to work on improving Dual Universe with NQ-Kyrios continuing his work as creative director.

We can’t wait to share with you the exciting things that are cooking for the game and for the company in 2022. Stay tuned!

Welcome thread is here if you'd like to say hello to Nouredine.

Feriniya reacted to Nayropux in Give us more ore & asteroids - less taxes! (Demeter Changes)
Yes, that is my point. PvP is a core part of the game. You can choose to not do it, but by doing so you lose out on the benefits. Just like if I choose to not mine, set up industry, or build and sell ships, I lose out on those benefits.

The game is 100% playable without entering the PvP zone; in fact most of the content is in the safe zone. You have access to every ore and item through the market, and the ability to make enough quanta to purchase them. Will it be as fast? No, but it shouldn't be as fast. This post, and thread, is just another thinly veiled complaint about how you are unable to get the benefits of PvP without PvPing. That is working as intended, in my opinion.

As an aside, you should definitely look harder. There are nodes with hundreds of acanthine per hour on them.

I completely agree, and our calculations also agree with your information here.

People do not tolerate change, it is better for them to stay in a worse world than to do something to move to a better one. People do not want change and this is their main problem. What is there to talk about if many cannot even adequately calculate the cost of goods on their own, taking into account skills - which is often shown by the market. And also there is overproduction.

Such changes are much better for the proactive.

The price per unit of ore will increase, since there will be less ore = the producer will do what is necessary and not everything in his mega-factory will make all the things in the game in one person. This is what causes overproduction. This means that the price per unit of goods will be relevant and profitable, almost regardless of what you will produce, it is beneficial for production workers, and to reduce these mega-building factories in size, which will also lighten the load on the server, reduce errors and allow players to spend less time on thousands of machines. In case of ore shortage or ore surplus, NQ will be able to easily change these numbers and control the economy so that it works and is profitable in all aspects. But yes, people do not understand this Since most do not even consider the price of the product, as I said earlier, and sell the product to themselves at a disadvantage, thinking that they are getting it.

    Fixed those for you.

Sure, I'm not speaking for so-called veterans. I'm speaking for myself, my org, my org-mates, and all of the former org-mates that quit when 0.23 dropped.

Since then, they 'fixed' the price of schematics from their horrifically flawed introductory price scheme, then broke them for 2 hours, then fixed them again. They added missions, which devalued currency to almost meaningless, while adding PvP content at the same time. They added asteroids, which provided PvP content for a portion of the server, and provided PvP victims for another portion. And now they're adding automated miners so we can finally stop playing dig-dug, except on asteroids with too-small nodes.

The game has gotten better since 0.23, but as I said, my friends won't be back. So I want their stuff. It's really that simple. And I'll be able to get it, if I'm there first.

300L/hour  - 50k per week. 1kk/50k = 20 quanta per L of ore. Now t1 cost 40+quanta per liter. I think 1kk per tile not too much, and they said it was placeholder . And again - no taxes on sanctuary.

But whether it's a lot or not also depends on how you play. a multi-account user who flies a big mission with 10 alts because he can handle the ship and the 5-6 hours of flight time will indeed laugh at a million.
Someone who flies the missions in the safe zone will have problems with these costs.
I also assume that the market prices will then adjust. There will certainly be a shortage of ore for a while, because you have to bridge the time when you won't be able to get ore so quickly. you can calculate how many mining units the players would have to provide in order to create the same ore value that is currently offered by permanent miners.
I myself understand these changes in favour of performance. However, I think more options need to be added to the game so that you have a choice of how to generate ores or quanta. Since NQ has already confirmed this, it is only a matter of time before these options come into play.

As for the actual topic of Recruit a Friend. i have also taken out a subscription for each of my children. I could clearly see there that they would not then count towards the programme and I was faced with the question: wait or buy a subscription. So I decided on an annual subscription for the children and paid. I don't get a Refer a Friend bonus now, but my children have had fun in the game for months and at the same time NQ has been supported by the subscription.
