    Hey Noveans,

    Joining an organization in Dual Universe has many advantages, especially when it comes to pooling and sharing resources. The introduction of org wallets in the upcoming 0.24 update will add a convenient way to transfer money to and from organizations, just as players have been requesting.
    But wallets aren’t limited to organizations alone. Many of these features will be useful to individual players as well. This should be welcome news to everyone who will be raking in the quanta via the new Mission system.
    Let’s take a closer look at all the wonderful things wallets can do.
    WALLETS 101

    Each organization now has a wallet.
    There are two new rights related to organization wallet management in the Right and Duty Management System (RDMS):
    Consult wallet: Gives the right to members to simply know the current balance of the organization. Edit wallet: Gives the right to do all the wallet operations available to the organization wallet. It includes buying, selling (and paying taxes by doing so), browsing the log and transferring money (see below).

    Any player with the “edit from wallet” right of an organization can:
    Sell unclaimed items or items claimed by the organization in the name of the org. Once sold, the money goes to the organization wallets. Buy items in the name of the organization. When doing so, the wallet of the org is used instead of the wallet of the player. Also, the item is then automatically claimed by the org when purchased. Edit and/or delete orders owned by the organization. NOTE: Going to the “My Orders” panel of the market UI, allows the player to see their own orders as well as the orders of all organizations for which they have the appropriate rights.
      Payable dispensers owned by organizations will use the organization wallet, instead of the Superlegate wallet.


    All players can give any amount of quanta to any other player or organization. Players with the necessary wallet rights of an organization can also transfer money from the organization wallet to any other entity. Transfers are tracked in the wallet logs of both the sender and the recipient.
    There are a few rules regarding quanta transfer, mainly intended to protect players from griefing through spamming the recipient’s wallet log :
    A transfer requires a minimum amount of 1,000 quanta. There is a cooldown period of 10 minutes between two transactions with both the same sender and the same recipient.

    Managing an organization and giving the right for wallet operations to several players requires basic management functions. That is why we are adding the wallet log.
    All entities (players and organizations) have access to a wallet log that reflects all transactions related to their wallets.
    Each entry contains the date of the operation, the type of operation (such as money transfer, market transaction, various fees, etc.), and additional information, such as the name of the player who completed the operation, for instance.

    Tbh on the topic of people leaving - This is the experience for some players, others may be a variant, then again, others may be stubborn and like the challenge and stick around.
    You play, you get used to the mechanics, then you start planning At that last point, you start to tally things up... You start scratching your head... You realize the numbers are right... You get frustrated... You say F this and leave... Simple solution Remove T1 Schematics T2+ Schematics only Devalues T1 Increases Value for T2+ Already T1 is so dang cheap it makes no sense to even have schematics for it. Seriously, it's BASIC technology we should all have had crammed into are heads after sleeping for a few thousand years...

    Fighter Cockpit EA core size ( weapon slots are suggestion only ) XS/4 weapons slots S/3 weapon slots M 2 weapon slots L 2 weapons slots Now people can make random gank squards with few people, greater variations in ship size etc. Won't beat a fully crewed ship in damage, BUT! cheaper/easier to hop into a ship and be jerk to scare haulers etc! * EVIL LAUGH *
    PS, can I just get a Torpedo ship with cloaking and sit in the traffic lane? O.o ^___^ Markee seems like a streamer that'd be fun to troll alot!

    I was bored, a friend wanted to have me make something for them. So I charged them the price it would be for just the ore to be used. Then I looked at market, and like most thoughtful people, nearly died laughing as I saw element after element being sold, cheaper than the ore to make it. Which honestly seems a bit backwards as the "Bots" everyone so heavily hates, do nothing but create a "Floor" price for ores and an outlet for people to sell to when no one else is buying at above bot prices.
    Then I checked the price of bot sell orders, NQ drop the price please, give it a margin of 10-15% profit instead based on the cost of the ore for it if your going to set floor pricing, it makes sense. Then also, like I mentioned on another thread, make it easier to see the base value of something based on ore cost, not everyone wants to research the cost of something outside of the game.

    I can only imagine the stress on server side.
    Though there could be a solution, though players would have to be a little meh on it.
    AI based off from an extended LUA function for devs only to run NPCs a certain way.
    -It would reduce strain on server.
    -Server would simply be watching HP of X and X instead of every tiny AI function.
    I know it could be expanded on, just a suggestion for DEVs.

    There's no pve, and games still in dev, future iterationsof those ships won't last being shot at tbh.

    Semi-Static Gate Block.
    -When building, shows gate area and will not let you build inside it.
    -Players could design gates of their own, or even sell them.
    -Simple gates would allow warping a "Ally/Friendly" ship to X location
    -Large gates would allow warping a "Ally/Friendly" ship to X system
    -Uses a TON of fuel from a warp stabilizer core from the ship jumping.
    -Large cores only possible on L Dynamics.
    -Gateblock would be non-collidable outside of buildmode, and once a finished option has been set, will no longer be visable from outside of build mode. Allowing for a center point for build area.
    There's my addition to your idea.

    Your creative -> Minining to stockpile finances -> Prototyping -> Learning how to build -> Selling BPs OR Whole ships.
    YOU are giving back!
    Mining -> Your buying off from market sold resources to build with OR you sank money for BPs to do it yourself
    Selling BPs OR Whole Ships -> Your acting as a money/resource sink.
    Even in safe zone, you may decided to go out and BUY some weapons to try your hand at combat design, test flights in safe zone in space etc.
    VR ( Giving back... not so much) ... You go straight to making BPs... not much help market wise, though safer. Your selling BPs with market value and technically spent nothing to get here.

    [Updated Nov 19, 2020 @ 3:02 PM EST]: The rules outlined below apply to teleporting both avatars and constructs. This means that, outside of the list of approved scenarios, we won't be able to fetch your ship and bring it to your location. 

    Good day fellow Noveans,
    I come bearing support-related news! More specifically, I’d like to address teleportation requests with all of you.
    For a while now, we’ve allowed players in need of a port to say the word on Discord and - voila - your wish would be granted! ✨
    That worked well for a time, but our Discord support channel is now beginning to slip under the veritable wave of port requests… and we’d like to rescue it and all those in need of a ‘lift’.
    As of November 19th, we would like everyone in need of teleport-related assistance to use the in-game chat support, or submit an official support ticket. By using the in-game chat function instead of Discord, you’re likely to receive an answer quicker because our GMs are ready and waiting for you there!

    Having said that, we’d also like to inform everyone that we will no longer grant port requests if you’re simply out of fuel, stuck in one of your own constructs, or just generally stranded. All port requests will now be investigated, verified and potentially denied if the request falls outside of approved scenarios.

    Some examples of when to ask for a port (approved scenarios):
    if you’re stuck in an Aphelia construct if you’re trapped in any other player-owned tile (unable to dig) if you’re unable to get past the loading screen upon logging in
      What to do if you’re just stuck/out of fuel/stranded: 
    Don’t forget: there are plenty of player organizations available to assist in your travels through space! Be sure to check out the organizations and services provided on Discord and our Forums. Some organizations will be happy to provide you with transportation, refueling, repairs, building help and so much more!! 🚀

    How to contact support:

    To access in-game chat support, simply click the “support” tab in-game, as depicted below.

    From here, it’s as easy as typing up your request, starting the message with "@NQ" and sending it off!
    To submit an official support ticket, please click HERE. 👈

    Then, select the hyperlinked text that says “submit a request” in the top-right corner of the page. Once you see the screen featured below, select the appropriate category for your issue and go to town!

    (Quick note for those submitting crash reports: PLEASE do not forget to include a crash log and/or XML logs with your ticket!!)

    And there you have it! Let’s all do our part to keep the Discord server free and clear of port requests so that players with big ol’ bugs and other issues to report can receive the visibility they deserve.

    This is it! After almost three years of regular live testing in Pre-Alpha, and three different Alpha versions, Dual Universe now enters its first Beta phase!
    This also means that the NDA is finally lifted. 
    The team worked extremely hard for you to discover this new milestone for our crazy dream project! We hope you'll see its potential and will continue helping us fixing, refining, and improving everything. Thanks for your awesome support since the beginning, it means so much to us... But enough of this, please find below the lastest release note: 
    New Feature
    Screen Unit image upload verification In order to see your content displayed on a Screen Unit, you now have to upload your images on our new website. Note that all images uploaded will be 100% public. To do so: 
    Go to dualuniverse.game and after logging in via the upper right corner panel, you will be able to go to the “upload image” page You’ll then be asked to open your Windows explorer and select your file, provided it’s in .jpeg or .png format (that’s right, no gif allowed) and that it’s under 5MB. Please note that drag & drop is not functioning at the moment, contrary to what’s written on the page There’s no feedback yet, but your image should appear after a few seconds in the “Pending Review” section on the page. Refresh it if needed. This review process can take about one week for now but we’re doing our best to proceed as quickly as possible. For now, you have to go back to the page to know its current status (this will be improved after the Beta launch) If rejected, you won’t be able to use your image, obviously If accepted, the image will appear on the dedicated section of the page. A mouse-hover will allow you to click on the link button to copy the link. No feedback will be displayed yet, but it works You now have a link starting with assets.prod.novaquark.com/XXXXX. With this copied link, you’ll then be able to insert it in a Screen Unit Right-click on your Screen Unit and use the “Quick Image” function. Paste the link in the pop-up field, validate, and ta-daaaaa. (You can also use it in any HTML content if you like) You can have 5 images validated at the same time For now, you can’t delete an image. This possibility will be added soon Remember that your content must comply with our EULA and ToS. If, for any reason, you find a way to circumvent the moderation process and display offensive content, you’ll be eligible for a sanction. Be responsible and have fun!  
    Note: On a more general note, that verification applies to all external URL used in HTML content in the game. Any external URL used must be validated or it will not be ever loaded in-game. This includes custom HUD on piloting seats, manifesto and organization logos, info button, and or course, Screen Units.

    Known Issues
    Windows certificate is not up to date. This issue will be fixed soon. This may prompt a warning message for new players in the first install. This will be fixed in the coming days Language selection from the game is not saved on exit Numerous French and German localization issues have already been spotted and we’ll fix them as time goes by In the previous Beta Release Candidate version of the game, ore veins were absent in the Sanctuary Moon. This has been fixed. However, any previous territory scan is now obsolete In some situations, you may not be able to place a Static Core Unit on your claimed Sanctuary Territory. An error message saying that it's too close to another construct is even displayed. It may be due to being too close to a District. Trying again from a bigger distance should solve the issue for now A random rendering crash can occur in many places because of some exhaustion of GPU/driver resource Voxel crash about disk/memory exhaustion [PvP] Slight difference between radar and 3D marker distance displays because radar uses the construct center as origin while 3D markers use the player position [SFX] Only blue fireworks may work for the moment If the game is set in German, Aphelia sometimes mixes German and English languages while speaking. You have to check directly by yourself on the dedicated page Uninstalling the game directly from Windows will leave the game’s files on the disk anyway. Please use the game's dedicated unins000.exe uninstaller in the game's directory for that. This will be fixed soon!
