We aim to design ships that combine elegance and efficiency with a readiness for the cold-blooded nature of interstellar warfare. We will bring an array of premier spacecraft to the marketplace: battle-tested by our navy and refined by an organized team of engineers and designers.

The Corporation relies on teamwork and structure to succeed, and thus operates as a meritocracy. The corporation is led by the CEO and a Council of three directors. Corporate assets are divided into three main branches; each responsible for a major aspect of Corporate operations and manned by specialists with appropriate skills. Each branch is independent to a degree but ultimately answer to the Council.

Our first concept design of the new year is the Firebird, a Heavy Fighter class. Commissioned by the Phoenix Confederacy.

I frequently get asked about how I make the ODY blueprints and what programs I use, so I made a short video showcasing my design process. Enjoy!

As featured on JC's twitter, the ODS Tidepoint made a historical entry today as Objective Driveyard's first completely coordinated project, shown under construction by a large part of our over 35 alpha members.  An amazing experience for all participants with lots of laughter and lots of fun.

I think your logo is not very wisely chosen, the added "wings" to the rune make it look like the emblem of various German Nazi groups (see https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Odal_(rune)#Germany ). The original Odal rune itself is also used by the American "National Socialist Movement"

Interestingly, every (present-day) higher German sergeant has that symbol (looks just like the rune) as rank thingie on the shoulders. See https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Hauptfeldwebel_(rank)

No implication, just an observation or as "fun fact".

As for the posts above, I think ODY never had particular implied intentions or affiliations so I'd rather shrug it off or clarify (if I were in their shoes) because that seems easier than to rebrand everything visually.  In terms of work effort and keeping a visually established brand, I mean.

But that depends on how many other people (in the future) draw that connection and consider it problematic.

That is true, however the logo adds the little wings that are a later addition by nationalists and were not part of the original rune.

I also don't want to imply intend here, just want to point something out that might be problematic.

I don't think it's different than the people trying to say that I derived my organization logo from the swastika and then trying to make a nazi connection. Just have fun with your emblem designs, I think it looks great.

And some people in this community have called me "the worst person, even worse than Stalin and Hitler combined". Yeah, apparently,:

forum trogledite > 2(Mass_Murderer).

So yeah, kind of an overkill at some points with people's random shape tolerance or overreactions.

If anything, I'd say the emblem chosened has another problem than Nazi Germany connections. I'd say its main issue is being cliche.
