    When you have more than 4 fuel tanks of the same sort (atmo or space), the fuel window gets a scrollbar.
    The command seat has only 10 connection available where 1 is already taken by the core.
    So why not have a fuel hub that only takes up 1 seat connection and have the hub display the fuel tanks in a window with a scrollbar?
     
    I think its pretty lame that we can only connect 10 things to a command seat. Also I think that solving this problem with lua-fuel screens n stuff should be an option, not mandatory. An L-core is a pretty big ship, 1 AGG, 1 warp, 1 radar, 1 ECU, 1 core, 1 gyro, 1 shield and there goes 7 of the 10 connections available, with a fuel hub this would not be a problem (you can still have 20 fuel tanks on this massive ship).
     
    And the on/off switching of engines. we can already connect them to relays/switches, why cant we turn them on/off? Yes it can be done with 'simple' lua, but I dont know why I should learn lua for this game when the things are already in place. Why doesnt the on/off switch work on engines, but you can connect them? Is it more fun to make it difficult for players?
    For parking in space or taxi on the runway, its very handy to have some engines turned off.
     
    What you guys n girls think of my complaints/suggestions?

    by my 2nd point. i didn't know if you where maybe limited in the amount of territory units you could have in the safe zones. so if i did put down a new unit on Alioth then i would loose what i built on Sanctuary. But if that's not the case i can finally move away from my horrible polar base xD

    Yes, I second this, the sun looks terrible without any effects. but most of the effects are too strong in general. It also varies from one effect to another.
     
    An strength slider would be nice, then we can set it to preference.

    They are ridiculously over the top.
    The problem is: If I set this to "none" -- the sun looks like an octagon (it is not round ...)
     
    Any other setting makes my eyes bleed -- too many lens flares, streaks, lights ... everything is basically just exaggerated.
    I think this is since they wanted to make everything brighter (I hate the bright space BTW) ...

    I disagree with the "realism" argument.  This is science fiction, and the technology you're describing, cameras and screens, comes standard on most minivans right now.
     
    I'm sure someone will have come up with something better then that by whatever year it's supposed to be in DU.  Call it a "3d virtual composite view" if the fictional technology needs a name.
     
    But more importantly the 3rd person view is just more enjoyable for me to play the game.  It's easy enough to switch back to first person if that's what you prefer.
     
    I do think it would be interesting if it was possible to disable someone's 3rd person view in PVP.

    I would like to propose a change in the structure of the skill tree for DU to create more individual skill possibilities for the players.
    At the moment I see that many players use the same basic skills, not because they want to, but because the talent tree says so, in order to get to higher level opportunities.
    But in the basic idea of the game there should be real specialists, so I think that the current situation limits these possibilities very much.
    The skill trees should be more in-depth and the further you skill into them, the more worthwhile bonuses should be unlocked. There should not be the same bonus per tier level (T1 =+2%, T2 =+2% T3=+2%), but more bonuses the further you skill. (T1 = +0.2%, T2 = 0.6%,.....T10 = +6%)
    In terms of time and bonuses, you really have to decide in the long term whether you want to concentrate on rare engines or rather on advanced engines, and there should also be a decision on size, i.e. whether I want to produce S-M-L-XL engines as a producer.
    At the moment, you can skill through everything relatively quickly and then simply produce everything with full bonuses.  That's too fast and doesn't leave any gaps in the market to really specialise.
    The same system could be introduced much earlier in the production chain. Why should a producer of engines be able to skill the whole line himself and get all the bonuses out of it without outside help?
    Why can't you, for example, introduce an enormous difference in production and quality at the very bottom, in ores, in refinement, in screws, pipes, intermediate parts, structural parts? 
    It would be nice if engine producers had to rely on other players. from whom do I buy screws, from whom steel or stainless steel, which player offers me the best quality or the best price. if I can set up and skill everything myself within a short time, it will remain a solo game and players will build up enormous solo factories over the course of the game and, as is currently the case, only distinguish themselves by a price war on the market, who sells his product and how far below value.

    I still check on my base on Alioth and ship from time to time, but I don't play for long periods of time anymore.
     
    My reasons? I have other priorities (such as other games - I know, lame excuse) but I guess there's also a lack of incentive to explore around. I've been all over Alioth, Madis, Thades, and Jago, and explored space extensively. I've used a surrogate to explore the Free Port on Teoma and the Utopia Space Station. But I think I've seen a lot of stuff in Dual Universe now such that any further discoveries don't feel...."new". So yeah. Not worth it to log in except to check on my stuff briefly.

    Like guys who take their paintballing too seriously and dress up in combat gear when they go down the pub.

    Might be good, don't know.
    But what I DO know is that I really don't like the voice of that woman ... she sounds like those clerks (in USA) who work at some store and always put an ARTIFICIAL SMILE and talk to you with a squeaky "sweet" voice but actually hate their job and are dead inside. Or like those hired female voiceover people for some Techno Channels on YouTube when you just FEEL that she absolutely has no idea about the subject matter and is just reading a script.
    This one here also sounds as if she is smiling the whole time while explaining to us how to obliterate each other with capital ships and fighters, lol.

    Let's be clear here, it is no secret that I have been a HUGE advocate of this game. I love playing it.

    But I am now, at least partially, on Hiatus until we have the ability to turn off the hand tool graphic effects while in build mode (and frankly the hand and tool themselves would be nice too.)

    The constantly bobbing hand and gun that takes up a third of the space is bad enough while building, but adding strobing, rippling, distortion causing effects that bleed even further into the build space is absurd. 
     
    Dear devs, Imagine you're at your desk, you're trying to program, concentrating hard, and someone comes along, sticks his hand over your shoulder and starts waving around a LED strobing nerf gun covering up a substantial portion of your work space. Would you be happy?

    Please, pretty please, add a checkbox to settings YESTERDAY to turn this obnoxious bit of useless silliness off. I really want to be able to continue building and designing, doing the Voxelmancy that I love so much. Right now, it is impossible for me.
