I think its quite the opposite.
You, without any prof and dispite the entire history of players reporting major bugs related pvp, are trying to acuse an entire org of bug exploit.

Are there other possible reasons for this kind of issue to happen? Yes. Most of the ppl in that org are germans. Could their location, language, lag, frontend server they connect be related to this? Yes.

But yet, you chose to acuse them....
    In a beta(alpha).

And when someone says "shit happens" you say he is a "fanboy" ?

What happened to that spirit you guys have when taking down defenseless freighters? Do you care if their ships are bugged?
Did you ever stopped your looting because "that guy's game probably bugged"???

Lets say that Hyperion, just for the sake of the argument. According to you(based on parenting bug exploit) for them to have any consequence, NQ need to explicitly say what kind of bug was used and give them a clear warning to not use that bug. And even after that, if that warning is placed in a sub forum, they have the excuse to say "we cant clearly find the warning".

So, how about you STFU until you have any evidence. And just open support tickets reporting the situation...

Basic stuff requires little time to craft.
You can refill your starter speeder with 2 minutes of crafting that will not even require you to be looking at the crafting menu.

Ofcorse that this is not valid to craft an 10 ton advanced military space engine L

This is not satisfactory. Some stuff requires allot or resources to craft and also allot of time (days).

But there is a market, for you to sell your stuff and buy others.
The current mindset is not like Minecraft where you craft all you need. (quite impossible in fact)

Yes, there are allot of hexes available.
Out of my mind i would say that less than 20% have been claimed. (in any given planet)
And NQ will add more planets and systems when needed.

Exploration, yes, for a 3 month lifespan, you wont get bored. After that....

Is it worth your money? Depends. If you are in Zimbabwe. Probably save it to buy a book about programing.
If you are in the EU or USA, maybe you can stop this "im being robbed by NQ" stuff.

I will not directly answer your questions.
    Sorry.
    Instead i will say this.

You dont really buy the game. You buy a 3 months subscription.

And the game has enough content, logic and exploration to fill up those 3 months with enjoyable game play.

The problem (for some) arrives later, after you already know the game and explored the system.

If you are in a developed country and the subscription price is about 2 McDonald's menus, buy it.
It will definitly be more fun then eating 2 BigMacs

I started following DU at the time that YouTuber said the voxel models were all fake. Then JC gave that guy a tour.
In fact, despite saying "fake", it was that YouTuber that introduced me to DU.

I kept following videos up until alpha 1 started, with regular supporter packs being available in DU.

I started to play at the end of alpha 1.

Acording to my experiments back in September.
The switch bypasses any door rdms.

This is also true for programing boards.

In the case of programing boards, those even overwrite talent permissions, being able to turn on and off industry outside of the player talent range.

joaocordeiro got a reaction from Sabretooth in How could they make the planets more interesting?
On spherical planets, extreme weather, fog, dynamic liquids like lava would be nice.

    Edit: also ancient stone cities.

That frozen cloud world from interstellar was nice.

But i would love to see a asteroid belt 200SU long

Or a broken planet with a huge chunk separated by a 20km gap.

The entire voxel code would be needed.
All element calculations would be needed. (Switches, PBs, engines, etc)
The physics calculations would be needed

UI would not be needed ( market, friends, help window)
It is not clear if a good GPU would be needed for voxel related calculations
Player avatar interactions would not be needed.

But the main issue is that this would require 2 game clients instead of one.
Or 1 game client properly divided between UI and world calculation.

At the state that the code seams to be in (assumption from bug types) a major code refactoring and clean up would be needed.
    Way outside of release targets.

We are now arriving at the "headless clients" thread.

Sure, we can have that academic discussion. Just dont expect it to happen.
There are 5 line code fixes not happening because priorities and budget issues.

If you start from the button and go up, you can clear those easly.

That button is a very light "nice to have"

Because if NQ was to implement that, then the following would also be implemented:
Clear all buy and sell orders on market.
Clear all RDMS policies, tags, rules and  actors
Clear all friends on contact list.
Clear all lua code on a unit.
Clear all chat on chat window.
    Clear all bookmarks.

And there are some, more important, "clear all" to implement.
Like clear all voxels and elements of a construct.

I agree with most said here.
    But a quick note:

This is the 2nd topic this week directly promoting another game. One that is a direct competitor.

I know some of you mean well. But this forum does not exist to provide "Alternatives to DU".

If you have some feature in some game has or some decision some competitor made, it is acceptable to bring other games for reference.

But it is not acceptable to do direct promotion of the competition.

    Keep this in mind.

Not only that, but NQ assure us that our current profit, profit gained with a very unbalanced game, will stay with us after release.

But increasing pvp will only make the unbalance deeper. Making the situation on release even more unbalanced and making the exodus of players faster.

    46 116 860 200 SU

Taking 35 073 years to reach the "border" (more probably a game crash) at 30000Km/h (max non warp speed)
