Heres an idea for you guys (since apparently you love a challenge)...
Build an operating system for ships, with easy to install "modules" which can be easily configured for each ship.

Well, it depends. They can pay a lump sum and use our base design (without engine improvements and control scripts) or they can pay an initial fee and an amount per race and become race partners with us building their craft, using the same stuff as our own craft, maintained by us and having upgrades applied by us. This happens a lot in Formula 1, where some teams have these race partnerships, and others buy the core design and provide their own improvements.

    Benitius, there are a few small problems I see here;
Most of the people on here either want to lead or are part of the command structure of other orgs.
No weapons means tasty target for people like BOO.
No weapons also means most corporations will go nowhere near you. If we cannot protect our assets, we cannot do business there.
Complicated structure will scare some people off.
There's already republics and federal nations and more on the forums. Again, everyone wants to be Emporer Dick or President Harry.

Ahhh but outside of safe zones will mean that the crafts and drivers can be damaged/hurt. And I would invisage it being more like pod racing from that terrible movie which kinda ruined a trilogy...

Thought I recognised the name of the company... the name is lifted from the X series of games (X2 The Threat, X3, X3 Terran Conflict, X3 Albion Prelude are among my favourite games).
Hmmm... I'd becareful about trademarks. Those games are published by Koch Media, which is owned by the Koch brothers, two very wealthy induviduals.

Not to be nasty or anything, but I would suggest getting someone to work through your grammar and spelling, it's making you look very unprofessional.

Oh I'm sure there will be a big demand for that from the various alliances and groupings. And then the commanders could remotely issue orders which would appear on fleet vessels displays, including waypoints and information on enemy fleets.

FHG_Steve got a reaction from Wilks Checkov in Civilian, Ecosphere and Infrastructure damage limitation pact
I propose that a pact is formed between groups of all types whereby we agree to minimise damage to infrastructure, ecosphere and civilians in any form of conflict, and to seek to limit strip mining of habitable planets.

This would include a ban on (and an agreement to oppose including with force) superweapons capable of destroying large areas or entite continents or planets.
A ban on weapons which litter an area with indiscriminate killing objects, including mines of all types.
A limit on mining on planets which are very habitable by humans.
A ban on city bombardments where civilians are present, and a ban on destroying infrastructure such as space elevators and other public travel methods.

These are just a few ideas that I have to help maintain peace and prevent damage to green worlds and their inhabitants.
If anyone would like to add anything else or sign up to discuss the pact, please do comment.

Throughout history, order and chaos have battled for domination. Through superior tactics, technology and weaponry, order can bring peace and prosperity...
However order brought through fear and oppression can be a breeding ground for chaos. A balance between order and freedom has to be sought, and at Vulture Corporation our security personnel are that balance. We strive to forward human civilization and our security division is part of that goal.

FHG_Steve got a reaction from Vyz Ejstu in How much territory do you guys think you can conquer?
Vulture Corporation has no interest in territory in the traditional sense... but an off limits/secret R&D facility would be beneficial.
We will mostly have trade outposts, shipyards, jump gate waystations, store outlets and most importantly our corporate HQ in places owned by nation like groups.
We exist to better the universe and push human civilization forward. And we will work with anyone who shares that goal.

Like what we say to all other federations, republics and other democratic forms of interplanetary governments, Vulture Corporation (and its various corporate and industrial partners) is able to design and develop various classes of ships, from drone fighters, advanced superiority fighters, transports all the way up to small scale (at first) frigates and light carriers.
Our ethos is by providing all democratic governments the ability to purchase our designs, or order more advanced using their own research if more advanced, we might garuntee as many civilians as possible the right to freedom and democracy across the galaxy. We will be selling access to blueprints, which means that once you aquire the blueprint the more ships you build, the cheaper each unit is (of course you will need to gather resources... I believe Chromium Industrial will be well equipped for that, and is one of our partners for larger scale projects including space stations and jump gates)

I hope you choose to do business with us, and we hope to provide your federation with an excellent array of space craft.
