Well you can always open a support ticket.

But there is no rason to be reseted.
The game gives you 100k per day just by logging in.
With 100k you can buy parts to build a speeder.
If you dont have the starter blueprint you make your own speeder with:

If you lost your sactuary control unit. You can ask an admin to give it back.

Dont be afraid to fail. Its the most likely outcome on DU for every new player.
    We all failed several times.
    But dont reset..

I will 100% agree this game was undercooked when it went to beta, even the devs kinds of said it themselves, they need the more money for further developments and server infrastructure.  One thing I want to make clear though, as someone who played the game extensively over three years, the majority of the issues we are seeing have only occured to this extent since open beta went live, the pre launch week was pretty bloody great, as was midweek for the first week or so.  It seems the playerbase has hit critical mass though and then the current architecture just falls over.   This is not a bold statement to say that when DU is playing well (such as in headstart week) it is the ONLY game I want to play at the moment out of the 600+ I own.  Infact it is one of my favourite games OF ALL TIME, it is just shame that you have never got to try it properly, even more concerning that you might never get to.

To be honest anyone who is trying to do everything themselves is going to find themselves left behind anyway.  Not the best strategy for progression.

I would like to understand why the economy is 'crap' bit of an arbitrary statement to make without any qualification.  As someone who has sold on the market since the first day of headstart  I am quite impressed with the way it is coming along.

No it doesnt mean that it is on one server, why do you post up this COMPLETE LIE, is means it is on a cloud of servers across the world which are knitted together into a single shard.  "This is basic stuff" Ironic coming from someone talking complete bullshit with clearly no actual idea how the tech works.  NQ have been honest that they needed to make money to beef up the server meshing (I can explain what that means if you like).

I have no issues with people being pissed off with NQ and the game but when people with zero understanding start talking like they are an authority, jog on.

Some of us have been playing for three years because we are fine to put up with the issues, because DU gives us something we cant get anywhere else.  The problem is that new players dont get to reach that part because they are put off by these issues, made worse by the fact that:
Some of the issue are specific to new players, because they are in zones with high load The company need money, so had to open it up, more money = better servers and the game will then run much better (as it did in alpha) but short term, more players = worse performance (catch 22) DU is 100% my favourite game, I have not played anything else since BETA launched, I 100% understand why the new user experience will put off some players, as will the lack of certain features (such as pvp) but some people will be like me and be happy to put up with the issue because they also see the incredible potential.

Being an ALPHA backer I am lucky and dont have to sub, but if I did have to, I would pay it no problem BUT I know what the game offers, it will be a shame if people leave without seeing that.

Lol we are not all enemies, you are a bit paranoid matey.  The market is going fine, I have been selling on it since launch (I didnt do the ore rush) and the increase in seller has been crazy since the bots nerf.  Today i visited every market in Alioth / Sanc moon, EVERY market had players in it.  I have NEVER seen anything close to that before.  Please dont take this the wrong way, but i dont think you have a full grasp of the market.

The thing is the game is not ready for pvp players like you, sorry but that is just the way it is.  Let us build the world first, then when pvp is working, I will pay you plenty of quanta to keep my stuff safe.  You will have a role, just not quite yet.

Moosegun reacted to SGCamera_Beta in Recommendation regarding system specs. for your game.
    Look at it this way:
DU is a pioneer as far as MMOs GAMES go.   They are building a massive, fully single shard, fully destructible, voxel based world.  The only game I'm familiar with that does this is Space Engineers - and that can only manage 10-20 concurrent players.  DU is intending to support tens of thousands.  DU won't be released for at least another 2 years.  At that point, your "3 year old 2015 rig" is going to be 6 years old.  That IS old.  Because of their pioneering technology, they can't afford to support old hardware - it would severely limit what the game can become. Even setting aside the issue of obsolete hardware specs, much of that hardware doesn't support the software that is needed to make DU a reality. DU is a subscription based MMO.  It will be operating for (hopefully) decades.  Supporting obsolete hardware now will make maintenance and updates more difficult down the road. Optimizations are something that typically happen in BETA.  We are not there yet.  Maybe it will make it less intensive to run - but it won't bring support for older hardware. If you want a unique and amazing game, you need to push the boundaries of available technology.  Dual Universe is doing just that.  The cost is that you will need a modern gaming computer in order to play it properly.

I would disagree with this, firstly because I love mining.  So do a lot of other people, I used to be a casual miner in Eve.  Was part of a mining corp who would message me if they were going out on a job and I would join them if I was up for it.  Several others in the corp did the same thing, sometimes would go every week, sometimes once a month.

The same goes with hauling, most people might find it boring but I have mates who have played Elite since launch and has pretty much spent the whole game hauling goods.  They are more than happy shipping stuff through galaxies whilst watching Netflix.

People enjoy doing different things, I see a 'casual' player as someone who is keen on doing a certain task (be it mining, building, pvp), when they are around but not really keen on the bigger picture stuff or having to commit specific time.

What I am not talking about is signing up casuals and forcing them to mine, I mean finding casual miners and giving them a role and the tools to do it.
