It's possible that we will have a steam version at some point, but not before beta, and this is not 100% sure yet." One bad thing about Steam is the possibility of negative reviews for dumb/invalid reasons, like people not recommending because of the pay model, etc.

  4. Example: one thing I don't like about Space Engineers that breaks immersion is that you can cover the intake of an atmospheric engine without any negative effect. Also you can completely enclose any thruster inside of a ship. Would it be possible to not allow this on constructs in DU?
  5. I think hostile NPCs are unnecessary, but if they are put in game I just don't want them to be a grind or too common. Attacking animals should be rare enough to where it surprises you, and most animals should be elusive and afraid of people.
  6. One of my favorite sci-fi horror films, as I prefer supernatural horror over monster horror.
  7. Suppose they could make bombs that are essentially very slow missiles, mechanics-wise. Good idea if it can be balanced well.

  9. I guess I'm not concerned. I don't mind big updates to the game as long as they are valuable editions, I can adapt to those changes.

  11. I'd like it if we could buy a DU t-shirt or other clothing. Some of that is backer rewards, but they can still be unique.

  15. I found a kickstarter comment from NQ: "At the moment, only English. But we are planning to localize the games in different other languages after the official release. The exact list isn't defined yet, but those considered at the moment are the following: German, French, Spanish, Polish and Russian." So it's a possibility after release if that is still their plan.
  16. I was actually just thinking about this yesterday. NQ did mention some copy-paste ability in an AMA. So as long as they have the functionality where you can attach pasted objects to another object...

  19. I like the convenience of the Steam platform. It is also a good place for game discovery, maybe adding to the audience as Lemonsquid mentioned. Assuming the reviews aren't too harsh.
