    Will be interesting to see what it is. A new MMORPG from CCP is kind of exciting, if anyone can pull off an ambitious mmo it is them. But they're not really the same CCP now as they were when they developed Eve, so who knows. I'm not too worried about its impact on DU.

    IMO food would just add tedium to the gameplay if it was required to survive, I'd rather it only give some kind of bonus.

    I don't think it has been laid out yet and we won't know until the final terms of service is released. In the past, NQ has alluded to looking at reports on a case by case basis. I'd expect first offenses to just be warnings, and repeat offenses getting more harsh.

    Copies of trademarked things in the real world shouldn't be too big of an issue unless it looks like a very convincing replica, even then someone would have to report it. NQ decides what is appropriate, and they also take the reports. Also players, some orgs might even have a policy to "destroy all ugly ships on sight"

    Well JC already says "See you soon in Dual Universe" so when finally in DU, could just be shortened to "See you soon." Which can either be a nice parting expression, or a super creepy threat.

    That's not how it works. If reputation could be taken away, that's what this would deserve, for trying to cheat the system

    It's not final yet, but NQ has mentioned some ideas like the ability to scan potential systems you want to go to, then send a probe to the system (just a logical game mechanic, not a physical probe) that would take some weeks to get there, and then let you jump a ship to the system a limited number of times, with materials to build a stargate there to connect the systems.

    Not sure what you're talking about. They always said stargates will be the first major expansion after release, and they never confirmed interstellar travel will even be possible before then. Maybe you're confusing the "vision" with release 1.0 available features.

    I think it is too different to be an Eve clone, with the whole building aspect, and open-world without choke points like stargates and stations in Eve. And I think DU will have more tactical options.

    JC actually touched on this in his interview on Fox News Radio. He mentioned injecting (and removing) money with market bots. Alluding that it will be similar to how Eve-Online does it.

    20km radius which is 1,256 square km. So .5 square km per person. Anyways we don't know what the final safe zone size will be. A lot of what NQ says are ideas that can be changed for balance reasons.

    Like others have said, no point in a war dec if there is no security zone or authority to file the war dec with. There are other ways of balancing without adding nonsense mechanics.

    codecombat.com has some Lua stuff. It starts out super basic, I'm not sure how advanced it gets later.
