    Dear Noveans,

The Tactical Map WIP we posted earlier was a conceptual image we used for design reference. It's of course not the final version of the feature, which will look more like this :

We also edited the original post to avoid confusion.

Sorry for the misunderstanding, and see you in Dual Universe!

Don't give a flying feck about rewards. Care about a stable game with an even playing field and no GM/Dev bias.

Some of my favorite gaming memories are from Dual Universe! From the moment as a noobie reaching out for help, only to have someone with a "MASSIVE"(to me at the time) M core ship come in and scoop me up for a rescue off sanctuary.  The awe I had while standing on his ship while we entered space, seeing the planet fall away- then warping to alioth... my jaw dropped when we entered atmo from space haha. That was the moment I was hooked on DU, and knew it was my new MMO home.

Or that feeling of accomplishment when I finally collected everything from the market to deploy my first S core ship, a free Blueprint from F.E.L.D in game. I poured my time/energy into it, grinding out quanta to upgrade it with 3 Territory scanners, paid to have Sagacious install their new autopilot script on it... only for them to tell me it needed more braking force... oh I was so oblivious to ship design then.

Or that time I packed up all my stuff and ventured out to find gold on feli in that S core. creating a mining base for myself and the guy who rescued me off sanctuary... he had always talked about going gold hunting on feli. Sadly he quit playing the game, so I was solo on feli... but kept the dream alive... and diligently for a week I scanned... I mined... I finally found some gold in a 125kl deposit.... and instantly sold it all cuz I was a noob and needed quanta. But it fueled the hunt further, it funded my 18 scanner pod ship... that eventually turned into the Hammerhead Logistics Platform.

Or that time I slow-boated through PVP space, went to bed- woke up to my ship filled with holes floating through space.. having 16 contacts embeded into the radar before it was destroyed. I only wish the pirates could have heard me snore as they were shooting at me. I still don't know how they didn't destroy/core the entire ship- but hey, that surprised Pikachu face of confusion and bewilderment I made when I woke up and saw the ship.... priceless.

Recently asteroids have provided some memorable moments. Like flying around pvp space hunting for roids and pirates, poking a angry hornets nest just to survive. Every week I go out expecting to loose ships, making each excursion out memorable.. and even more so when I come back with battle-scars. Their is a bit of player driven "content" with the current conflict that asteroids create, and has been nice to see. To everyone that has shot at me, thank you...? ya'll have made it more interesting for sure.

Finally... This video while awesome, with an engaging story, it is not representative of how the game is actually played or works... I think many of us wish PVP felt/looked that engaging, and have been letdown that it's not. I still hope atmo PVP will be more like the above video- limit ranges from 2SU to 1km and you might just get something like the video

Really like this devblog.  Repulsing ships that try to ram you in pvp will be nice.  As people build "kinetic impactors" to try to intercept a larger construct where the aim is to get the larger construct to collide with the kinetic impactor destroying the target.  The other thing in PVP it is common for people to logoff chars on rival pvp ships so they can easily track locations.  Furthermore people taking this step further by carrying as much weight in nanopacks to weigh down a target construct to reduce its performance.  Very cool I really like this thumbs up NQ.

Someone wake me up when they put some conflict drivers in the game.  Like man holy F#$& just put in asteroids out in the pvp zone that is good high tier ore for us to fight over.  This mission system I doubt will yield much in the form of conflict. Really feeling let down here.  Starting to ask myself why I am keeping 3 accounts subbed.

Incorrect. You are speaking of things you have no insight into. It would be very easy to create gameplay mechanics to disable/disrupt this.  Don't jump to all doom and gloom and have a little imagination.

ManfredSideous reacted to NQ-Naerais in Market Clean Up - Today!
Despite our recent efforts to expand and clear out Market 6, we are still getting reports about performance and clutter. We want to assure our players that we understand your frustration and are still working to find better permanent solutions.

Meanwhile, we will be addressing clutter across Alioth this weekend. Our plan is as follows:
Dynamic constructs that have not had direct interaction with their owner over a set duration (currently 30 days*) will be hidden.  Constructs at the market that violate our rules,  Code of Conduct and EULA will be removed.
If your construct is hidden, you can unhide (recover) it by using the Fetch tool. To do this, right-click on it in the Construct list on your Map screen. Any constructs that you own, whether visible or hidden, will appear on this list.

Fetch functionality now works for organization-owned constructs as well. For hidden constructs that belong to your organization, your legates can retrieve them via that same functionality.

Our customer support team is at the ready if you still need assistance recovering your constructs. Simply ping our Live Support staff in the in-game help chat with “@GM” or file a ticket on our support page and we will dispatch help right away!

Please note that this is intended only as a temporary measure to aid performance and improve your experience when visiting these areas.

We look forward to seeing the results from these changes over the weekend.

    May your frames be plenty.

I have been trying to figure out how to say what needs to be said without sounding toxic or doomsday-esque.  I don't know how to fully do that so I am going to preface this post by saying I want good things for DU and NQ and the people that make up the NQ staff.  With NQs current trajectory you are in a death spiral.  If you stay the course you are on it is my fear that DU will not survive and all of the NQ staff that has poured heart and soul into DU will be unemployed.  I get the impression that NQ looks at DU and gets caught up with jubilation of the technical marvel that is DU.  To that I agree it is a masterpiece and you all deserve a thousands applauses.  However applause doesn't keep the lights on.  It is my firm belief that NQ needs to let go of the methodical roadmap you are using to develop DU.  Yes if you continue on the course you are on you will eventually make a masterful product.  The problem is you do not have the funding to do that.

NQ needs to increase revenue. The best way IMHO to get more users interested in the game is to prioritize gameplay loops.  NPC Pirates that players can kill to get things.  Asteroid belts to explore and fight over. Gameplay loops these are the things that will bring users to DU and more importantly retain them.  These foundational pillars NQ are working on to set itself up for a more robust world down the road so you can then add gameplay loops is a recipe of your undoing.  Give the people what they want so that they will give you money to do the things you actually want to do.  Basically this is a long winded post saying " you are putting the cart before the horse" and "it will be your undoing if you do not beware".  Us users will be sad if DU fails but we can go play another game.  Sorry for being the asshole who said it.

Edit- it is anecdotal but all my friends in DU have been doing there best to give NQ the benefit of doubt but faith is running low and many have said this is the last billing cycle (3 month sub) that they will pay without seeing some signs that NQ is actually making progress and adding actual game play loops to the game.  I must admit I am more hard headed but I have asked myself "at what point in time do I cut and run". I invest large amounts of time into the main game I play which is DU but I do that to build up for a future.  If there won't be a future (game death) why am I investing for that future?
