hehehe, ok. Once you get into the rhythm of it all. This is a lot of fun. But will say I was stumped on the second riddle.

You have killed the player base with bringing up the wipe. Yet you still have nothing for us. Please at least give us a time frame or something.
I love the game, but please gives us some details.

How much WORK or EFFORT I have put into this game is irrelevant, and there are very few who can argue they have put in more time and effort into building then I have.

I have no expectation of work product, in this or any other game. Nor is there any legal right to it, in this or any other game. Games have run for years, only to shut down overnight with no warning. No expectation of compensation, no compensation will ever come.

I have my knowledge, and if the Stroke I had in January didn't wipe that, then for sure NQ can't.

All I truly care about is that we hit the ground at release with solid:
    1. Lore/Cannon for it all. Write a damn story to explain it.
    2. A functional communication system. (long neglected and def NOT ready for release)
    3. The ability to choose how much audio and visual "noise" we want the game to display. IE a functional UI with settings controls. (long neglected and def NOT ready for release)
    4. A well thought out plan on how to start an economy, and how to adjust it when it goes out of wack (which it will)
    5. A strong and robust set of game mechanics that are FUN to play, and prioritize those who want CONSTRUCT a civilization over those who what to hack, slay, and steal.

give me that, and I'm willing to start over building shacks and scooters.

I do think that the players need to keep some or all of their talent points.
if schematics are to go away, what will replace it?

We would like to thank each and every one of you who has taken the time to visit our Public Test Server (PTS) and that tried our new Athena update. A special thanks to those who were able to attend our Fools Defense PvP event on April 1st, we hope you enjoyed it!

We recognize a good number of players were unable to attend the PTS event due to other engagements. As with any test, we had to make sure that our development teams were able to actively monitor and be present as the event took place. Thanks to your participation though, we have been able to identify some areas in need of improvements or adjustments - and thanks to your feedback, we will be working on improving them.

In addition, we are excited to announce that we will be bringing the PTS up for a couple of additional days, before heading into the next portion of our PTS test for Athena.

    ATHENA ON PTS - SCHEDULE

    - Wednesday 6th April 13:00 UTC to Friday 8th 09:00 UTC
We have finished adding more of the late stage game items, such as the schematics for the new Relic Plasma Harvester and Space Mining Unit, along with the variants of elements that have been introduced. We have also applied some fixes for added performance and stability for players to test out.

    - Friday 8th April 11:00 UTC to Monday 11st April 09:00 UTC
Moving into the second part of our planned PTS testing for Athena, we’ll be focusing on the First Time User Experience (FTUE) beginner introduction guide. More information on this will be released very soon, so keep your eyes open for the upcoming devblog with all the details!
In order to fully test the new FTUE, the PTS will be completely reset on Friday, April 8th (hence the two hours maintenance between the two sessions). Please note that said maintenance might be a bit longer. But once it is done, everyone that connects to the PTS will be able to experience the new FTUE in detail. Of course, there will still be dispenser towers providing many in-game items for free, so players are able to continue to test other features that they are interested in as well.

Regarding the FTUE itself, brace yourselves for an upcoming devblog on this topic! The FTUE devblog will be available by the end of this week, so keep on the lookout for it. There will be many details to help you get ready for the FTUE PTS session!

As always, we would like to remind players that this is a Public Test Server and as such, many unforeseen issues can arise; this can include performance and stability issues. In the event that issues do arise, we will do our best to remedy them as soon as possible.

Get out to the PTS and test when the time comes! We look forward to reading your feedback for our Athena update in our Forum thread here.

This is much better and would have been happy with a little bit less. But 25 was way to low.
As for dropping this during the so called Panacea patch. Is complete and utter SHIT! I was so pissed yesterday that I almost removed the game from my system. This was called the patch we listen to the players, but this felt like we had to try to hide the next way we are going to screw the player. I really do want an apology for all of us for bringing this up the way it was.

I was really excited to have the mining units. Was hoping to be able to build while I have them run in the background. Then came the mini-game and having to calibrate every few days. I am down to one mining tile on Alioth because I hate the whole process. It is tedious and boring. I have dialed back playing the game since it is no longer fun.

I am glad we are going to the auto miners but not sure why we had to add a mini game to do it. As for the taxes 1 mil per tile for a week is too much. maybe 250K a week would be better.

We have yet to hear what will happen after the tile is released if you don't pay. This would be a great salvage opportunity.

The rollout of the airbrakes should have also been a major note as this changes a lot of ships. And not something we find out after logging into the PTS.

As for killing the game, not sure about that. 0.23 did that pretty well. This does make the Sanctuary moon viable and maybe that is what NQ wants in the end. At least for now. The subtle way to do a wipe.

I would like to see the PTS updated to a more recent version of the snapshot to assist in testing.

Also is power still going to be a thing?

And it planet mining going to go away with mining elements?

Do we get to have mining elements for ships?

Keep up the good work and thank you.

SomeOtherIdiot (SOI) reacted to JayleBreak in Now available: In-game 2D Voxel Planner/Builder
About a year ago, I wrote the 2D Voxel Planner now found on "dual.sh". I'm
now introducing a fully in-game construct that combines an enhanced 2D voxel
planner with an integrated voxel board.
Free blueprints for the planner/builder can be obtained at the Objective
    Driveyards shipyards. The entrance is at ::pos{0,2,23.4393,73.7082,3.5773}
The blueprint is labled "2Dplus Voxel Planner Builder"
The "plus" refers to the support for multiple (12) "layers" of 2 dimensional
voxel plans. These layers can be stacked together to produce 3 dimensional
objects. In the picture, on the right, is a voxel board that is the source
of voxels placed on the assembly board on the left. In the center is the
planning terminal with a "scratch" voxel board behind it.
To illustrate how things work, I will walk through the creation of a truncated
cone. The process begins by sitting in the provided chair and activating the
program board. Note that your plan is saved in a databank on program board
deactivation, change of layer, or change of page. The plans for up to 3
different avatars are seperately tracked (the number can be increased by adding
    additional databanks).
