If an item is purchased with the org wallet, can any member of the org pick up the items from Market Container?
I'm assuming the buys can be done remotely like now.

They didn't really promise it. They said back then they were going to tackle it.
But honestly, with the shit they have to deal with today, rotating planets are the least of their worries. 

Every single planet has the same day/night cycle and apparently seasonal cycle, too. 
it would be nice if the planets rotated. Then we would get moon rises and moon sets, too. 
 
unfortunatley, this is no elite dangerous where every planet and moon’s orbit is simulated. 

The only think sub-par about it is that in game chat already does this just fine. Type /join 911 and call for help. Eyes and Ears rescue monitors that and maybe other rescue services. Of course gankers are monitoring it too. Other rescue services have more secure channels that only they and their subscribers can access. Probably fewer gankers on those.
See above - in game chat. Immersive; Can be secure(-ish); No extra dev cost.

This would preclude market delivery missions for players. Such missions would considerably enhance game-play, so i say let's not do this.
 
I like this. It's better (or at least less likely to piss players off) than my solution of change the RDMS to all players/all access after an hour - let us salvage them lol.
 
I was at D6 yesterday and I couldn't find the ramp up to the platform. That's how cluttered it is UNDER the platform. Once I did find it, the path from the top of the ramp to the entrance was almost completely blocked and some a-hole was maneuvering what looked like a wall that he seemed intent on using to finish the job of blocking the entrance.
 
NQ really need to get out the ban hammer and get rid of some of these so called players.

That's definitely my plan.

Without going into details, other than I scan a lot for Cobaltite, I also wish that the spawns would be increased just a tad.  I know they shouldn't be as abundant as T1 / T2, not saying that, but they need a boost.  It's not sustainable long term without a reseed at one point.  Unless of course space mining ends up providing way more opportunity....

Double standards, mate, so double.

Combat needs to be drastically improved before subjecting all players too it, but, yes, some NPC pirates, preferable in non-PVP areas would be fun once combat works right. 
 
But I don't think DU's design would allow it because the physics runs in the client and NPCs have no client. And NQ would need a much larger budget to build that game.

It seems to me that one of the underlying assumptions of the game design is that players are available 8 hours a day, every day.

Also, It is clear that there is a lack of demand in the markets, many items just sit there for weeks. The only way I can think of to get the markets moving again is to have a lot more space combat with something to fight for, not just for sport.
 
The idea of "combat on demand" is either limited to occasional weekend events or trying to steal from and murder some poor guy in a transport ship (which is not real combat).  So how to find more opportunities for real combat?
 
AI bots. Use the exact same PvP mechanics that are in the game and planned to be in the game, but controlled by some AI. This way I can get my fix of combat anytime I log on.  I don't want to be a pirate, but I do want to try out new tactics and combat ship designs when I have an hour or two to spare.

Im an older gamer and long since got used to playing arrow keys for movement , r-shift for jump etc , and heavy use of mouse buttons, yet it seems I cannot rebind hell of a lot of the keys Ive grown used to .
The key settings do not recognise mouse  buttons  and the likes of shift/ctrl  cannot be rebound either , has anyone come across this and found a solution ?, Im too old in the tooth to learn WASD , the different hand position is uncomfortable to me, I really want to try the game but it fails at the first hurdle with the rebinds

Yeah. I won't be taking player missions - at least not out of safe space - cause the whole idea is shit. It's really sad. If I want to do missions I'll log into SC where if the mission giver is scamming, it's part of a carefully crafted story-line.

"My name is Darameus Brown. I'm a Lacobian pirnce. I have 3L contnainers that needing shipping to Lacobus. They were bequeathed to me by my farther before his past away.
Just bring the coatnainers over to Lacobus and plaese make sure to arive at about 14:00 GMT to recieve genarous paymenet."

I think in a beta you should give feedback and if many users are dissatisfied they give appropriate feedback.
You are free to give positive feedback in your own Tread.
I think the developers should be happy to get positive and negative feedback, that's what alpha / beta is for.
Because this is the time to get different perspectives on the game.
The developers and players should consider themselves lucky if the forum is used for this.

Overall, this is great news a mission system will potentially give players something to do but with the game as it is it may not be enough. 
 
I don't know about pirating missions. There is no pirating in this game just murder.  The combat mechanic is so horrible that basically once you've been targeted/scanned and your warp drive is reset, you are done.  The balance of risks is terrible you can lose weeks of work mining ore and getting a large hauler just to lose it to some guy who slapped some guns on a box.  On the other side, killing another ship is basically just getting into range and button pushing.  The only real purpose of "combat" in this game is basically just a harmless outlet for psychopaths.

Yep. All that's true. Still want to crash their script if I can. (I'm very hostile to scammers and advertisers making it hard for me to use the market.)

You know what would really destroy what confidence I have left would be for them to roll back and delete the substantial update to one of my ships that I made while this bug was in place.
 
I didn't know about the bug at the time, and, since I don't do industry except for my fuel facility that I got back up the day after 0.23 dropped, I didn't benefit from it... but you want to punish me for it?
 
Much better that we let the beneficiaries slide. You can't prove that they knew the schematics were underpriced. You can't prove that they wouldn't have paid full price for the schematics they needed during that time if that option had been available. The players didn't do anything wrong. NQ did. (And it was an honest mistake - no punishment for NQ either lol)
