Sorry did I phrase my sentences as "der dum phlub how dwos te gam wok???". I'm not stupid I've been self teaching myself game development for a long time now. Also you would be surprised at what hackers can do. People can still hack dedicated servers. For example I could do it if I wanted to but I don't like cheating and I don't like cheaters. I would only mess with a game if it's an old broken game that doesn't work with 64 bit systems, if a mod needs improving or if I'm modding the game myself.
 
Also Minecraft handles memory very well but will still crash if you build a city and you don't have enough RAM. It looks like you are just answering questions you don't know the answers too so please don't mock me.

And SINCE NQ hasnt finalized scale or speeds, they can set acceleration and deceleration at whatever rate they like.

Elders Scrolls III: Morrowind was the last good ES game, but i would not call it empty, there where quite a lot of side quest and things you could do in that open world, it sounds like you jusst steamed true the main mission.
 
It was an open world with little hand holding, hell you could even kill the main quest gives breaking the main quest.

The devs have hinted on a "VR" kind of in-game scenario for the sole purpose of creativity, but details on that are not yet disclosed.

no because what we have seen so far is a crafting game like SE, but why should that exclude other MMO element ?
 
I do hope it's more like from the depths or star made, since i do not like SE much.

1.  A robot is not an avatar.  It's a mobile construct like a ship. 
2.  WHO gets to classify a construct as anything (robot, fighter,  battleship, etc.)
3.  How do you know the "intent" of the developers?  All we know is that they want to encourage multiplayer ships and gameplay.

I'll be honest with ya, people have done the math, I'm 92% right, the rest 8% is just me argueing about semantics.
 
And I am actually facetious. It comes out as rude, but in fact, I take nobody seriously. Some people like to say the Joker's phrase of "Why So Serious?". I live by it.

If humanity has advanced enough to travel deep into space we've long since replaced traditional food with a pill or injection to fill our needs - Also who the hell wants to be a spacefarmer? Really.... Not enough to sustain the rest of us at least, I'll guarantee you that!
 
I am a patient guy, and if I was 20 years younger and had no kids that demand my attention every second of their waking lives I might go for it, at least entertain the idea of it. I'm not there anymore and if this chore is put on me, when would I have time to explore, build and scour the markets of this universe? Never. That's when. It'd be Real life 2.0

I'm against it, this is supposed to be a builder/scifi mmorpg, not a survival game. I definitely dont want to be forced to regularly eat food, its only a chore without benefit.

I'm not for censorship per se. Dicks, boobs, words....Don't matter much to me, it's what it is: a game. When someone really annoys you then there's always the mute....
I have nothing against the (by us citizens) praised freedom of speech movement. Everyone should be allowed to express himself. But there's something called respect and etiquette - when everyone respects those two basic concepts of human interaction, no censorship is needed. (OH and this has nothing to do with respect for the other guy, just respect his opinion even when it's dumb). If my opponent can't even follow those two basic things then he's just a dumb a....h...
 
To me it only gets too far when rl would be involved, names/adresses/telephone numbers exchanged, and so on.
