The only thing I desire is more honesty and more communication. It doesn't have to be 10 pages full of information, but tell us smaller pieces of that.  Even of your "roadmap" 1.1 and 1.2. Give us a little inside of your world. What is hard in your development right now? What are the current challenges you are trying to get fixed up to December?

    @Anderson Williams
In my eyes a community-manager should be the bridge between the community and the company, and not a player based council. “Ask Apehlia '' was a good start, but we clearly need more…

Fair enough. If you are looking for a third party reference then perhaps try https://du-lua.dev by @jericho1060 it includes an online lua editor/emulator, detailed information on various in-game elements/recipes, and a mockup of the codex. I personally can not attest to the accuracy of the the information contained within but it is actively maintained and many players have found it extremely helpful. Hopefully you do too.

Login credentials along with all the other user settings are stored in appdata. If none of your changes are being saved then it stands to reason that something is preventing Dual Universe from writing changes to this directory. If you have any antivirus programs consider making exceptions for Dual Universe and EQU8 (the anti-cheat engine). You can also try running the client as an administrator to see if that makes a difference. Also I saw a case once where someone had portions of their appdata directory set as read only. Ensure that this path is read/write accessible C:\Users\<username>\AppData\Local\NQ\

Hope that helps, if not then you might want to consider submitting a ticket to NQ support.

This appears to be more of a rant than actual feedback. Furthermore it contains numerous instances of slander towards the developers. Based on this I can only conclude that your target audience was not NQ but the playerbase. Why then address the playerbase in this manner? From my perspective, this appears to be a blatant attempt to get the community to riot. I do hope that was not the intention here but if you were trying to strong arm NQ into addressing your personal list of gripes by riling up the community then I am truly disappointed.

With that said, here are my brief comments on the major points of your post:
Your verdict on the T2 distribution on Alioth is premature and your belief that changes to the resource distribution should be made public is not one that I share. In fact I think the devs already reached a fair compromise when they decided to list the ores available on each planet/moon as opposed to leaving it to the playerbase to discover.  Antigrav generators were designed with the 1km altitude restriction to limit their effectiveness. The AGG towers were a player made solution to mitigate this downside not an intended gameplay mechanic. Regardless, the only thing NQ has said is that the 1000m limit is a thing now. The exact details have not been uncovered by players. For all we know the limit could be referenced from the tallest point of natural terrain or maybe it even varies in value from planet to planet. This is still the age of discovery and some brave pioneer needs to climb up there and check. If it turns out that AGG towers are no longer viable then politely raise the issue so the devs are aware and can decide whether or not they want to correct it. Also keep in mind that this a bit of a controversial topic as not everyone is fond of the AGG towers.  The missing STUs was an unforeseen issue and is being investigated. HTML screens being phased out was officially announced on numerous occasions prior to launch and was even part of the PTS release candidate. Also as Kurock pointed out, there is an option under your game settings to re-enable said feature for those who have still not mitigated to the new system. The devs already provided advanced notice that blueprint snapping was going to be included in a future update after the launch.  There is nothing wrong with airing your complaints but if you want to actually help improve the game then I strongly recommend dropping the tone and instead providing constructive feedback with actual suggestions for improvement. This will encourage others to do the same and the subsequent interactions will transform ideas into effective solutions.

Added a new augmented reality HUD for tracking the output and states of your factory's industry machines. This display is free forever, and simple to set up (you just need a programming board element).

The display can filter the view by status type, and you can filter with search keywords.. industry unit types or output product names (partial searches work). For more info, demo video here:

Just a quick update about the missing STUs and Backer Rewards:

We are aware of many backers are still waiting for their missing Sanctuary Territory Units (STUs) and also some other missing backer rewards. These two issues are related and the source of the problem is more complicated than originally anticipated. Our devs are still working on a fix at the moment. However, we do not have an ETA to communicate on the resolution yet, but the devs are doing their best to fix it as soon as possible. It’s one of the top priorities of the team at the moment.

We thank you greatly for your patience and your support.

Hey RipPaw and welcome back to Dual Universe. There are not a lot of public resources for ship design right now but @Tueradoor created a wonderful Thrust Calculator Spreadsheet back in beta and recently updated it again for release. It allows you to specify the quantity of each type of flight element and even takes into account your talents. Give it a try and see if you like it.

Msoul reacted to DannyUK in The best thing about this game....
Is the community, I have seen so many people helping each other out and that's what makes it the best to play for me. I also play another game called Wurm Online and that has an amazing community also that goes out of their way to help you, this game is the same.

I say this because yesterday I bought a brand new ship upgrading from a hovercraft, even though I did the tutorials I crashed a 500k ship. I now know what my mistake was, I was using manual instead of using cruise control which is so much easier but manual I came in to fast to land and panicked trying to land it and exploded. I had just moved to Alioth the day before and had no resurrection pad so it spawned me back on Haven. Anyway a guy called EdmundBlack came to pick me up and take me back to the crashed ship to repair it, I hope he doesn't mind mentioning him but thanks to him I saved my ship otherwise there was no way to get back to it.

I still find it daunting to fly, I go super slow even if the ship supposed to go fast, at least until I get used to it a bit more. Going from a hovercraft to an atmospheric craft is a big step if you are new to flying but yes the community here seems a very good one and hopefully one day when I get more experience I can help someone else out myself.

Msoul reacted to Deadrank in Alien Cores
As seen during the beta, since the introduction of the Alien Cores in Athena, the group with the largest PvP force in the game can hold all 10 cores without much trouble. My personal opinion would be to make defending all 10 cores in the game virtually impossible for a single group/alliance to do (assuming there is an opposing side). However, this is somewhat of a balancing nightmare and would get complicated very quickly.

My initial proposal would be to make Plasma a non-warpable item (similar to Aphelia Mission packages). This would allow smaller groups to attempt to "pirate" plasma off of the main group holding the cores while they fly it back to safe zone. This still gives the core owners the ability to decide when and where they want to put the plasma at risk and require the "pirates" to do planning reconnaissance, etc in order to pull off a heist. But it at least gives non-core owners a chance at getting a hold of some plasma, even if they aren't a big enough group to hold a core, but still requires them to PvP for it.

From an outside perspective, implementation of this should be relatively easy (all mechanics are already in-place for the mission packages). I feel like it gives some balance to the alien cores in regards to smaller PvP factions, while not really making it harder for the larger factions to still control plasma.

    Thanks,
    Dead

First just to be absolutely clear, on September 27th Dual Universe will launch and all player accounts will have their talent points reset to a nominal (near zero) starting value.
The talent point accelerator event applies to all active subscribers. Backer status has no effect. The 6 months of talent queue was merely a recommendation to ensure that players get the most value out of said event. Feel free pick a different time period if you wish but keep in mind longer queues will help NQ plan for the future since they can pull statistics on them and thus get a feel for what players are specializing in. Being a gold Kickstarter or higher, a Patron Supporter, or having subscribed for 13+ months during the beta phase makes your account eligible for the Exotic Pioneer Pack. If you meet this requirement, have an active subscription, and login to the game at least once during the first month, then you will be awarded the items listed in Pioneer Pack Rewards. The quanta and talent point rewards listed in the packs are distributed at the end of each month for 6 months. Meaning an Exotic Pack owner will get 400,000 quanta and 3 million talent points at the end of each month for 6 months, resulting in a total of 2.4 million quanta and 18 million talent points by the end of the 6 month event. Note that the larger 52.9 million talent point value listed in the graphic also includes passive talent point accumulation (with accelerator) during the first 6 months and is hence a rough estimate for the total number of talent points said pack holder can expect to have at the end of the 6 month launch period.
