    You get it.

If you pay 1 month it will probably cost 10~15 per month.
6 month payment abo, will reduce the cost by 10~20%.
12 month payment abo, will reduce the cost by 20~40%.
DAC will be 20~40% costlyer then the monthly sub, when you go for the yearly abo.

That's what most companys go for on a pay to play basis.

PS: 15 Euro pay to play is just fine. YOu can get alot of people that way + more likely to get people that don't troll all day. Alot of the problems with "zero" cost free to play always is the swamping of bots, doublicate accounts and alot of other things that make the server seem bloated with people ... while people are just getting angry at the people that don't feel any attachment to their accounts. Ban? Well i can just get a new one, this one is just 1 hour old and my main acc is safe and sound.

    What would you rather play?
An free to play game, where you need to spent 300 bucks a year to be competive with other payers. But not even with whales.
Or an game where you need to pay 120 bucks a year, where the ingame shop only sells you emotes and cosmetic skins and stuff like that.

People with money reall like to spent that on games (even people without it spend it ... hard).
The whole free to play gameing community is a cancer to development of new games, that actually need to inovate and be fun.
There's rarely any game that can support itself just from cosmetics in a shop. And even these, often have communitys that are really immature ingame (toxic, trolls, griefers etc).

    *inhaaaaaaales* Yes! \o/

I know this isn't a Q&A, but now after I read I got a few things I'd like to bring up.

First off, thank you for allowing v-boosters to be allowed for use in space. Having to use vertical space engines was really unpredictable due to that rev up time.

As far as wings are concerned, I know we already have the small elemental types, but would we be able to create our own wings out of voxels to create the same effect? Currently, my shuttle (my baby that I've had since the second or third test ;_; ) with my name emblazoned in light elements for a touch of irony has wings but those are of course, nonfunctional and purely decorative.

Will we also be seeing larger wing elements in the future? Perhaps ones with functional ailerons?

I'm no expert but I can deduce that energy put in would equal energy put out. Why would engines use more fuel when going slower rather than faster? I understand that it would take more fuel to get something moving from a dead stop, but once something is cruising at whatever its lowest throttle set point I feel as if the force put out should equal the force going in. If they're specifically meant for going at high speed (as specified), would there possiably be a future engine for use at slow speed with better fuel consumption?

"helicopter-like dynamics", I'm assuming you mean the ability to hover in place?

I'm quite excited for the damage model changes, bumpers (bumper hover cars anyone), and landing gear being used for shock absorption.

If I'm not mistaken, isn't there supposed to be a second dev-diary as well?

It also depends on the weapons available and the medium that combat happens in. If NQ decides to implement the more realistic Newtonian motion in space, then dogfights as we know it probably will not become a thing outside of atmospheres. If air-to-air guided missiles are common, dogfighting will be almost nonexistent like irl, and I see no reason why humanity would have reverted to WWII-era combat style after 500 years of technological advancement.

Sadly to say that was on another voxelgame :3.

But basically any voxel game should be capable of makeing anyweird shapes you ever require.
Google Landmark Voxelmancy and a few examples and tuturials will pop up.

Bound to be PREETTTTYYY similar, as i think the voxel engine comes with a bunch of tools prepacked from it's creator.
Only the tidbits of sharpeing these tools to Dual might be leftover.

Something like this thin rod should be feasible even in DUAL.

A few examples from Landmark, RIP dear old friend. And damm you Sony ...

    I was in Landmark too.
Was fun times. Till sony sold it and the ceo fucked it up.

:3 could have been a perfect mix of building game + everquest next adventures.

I hope that we will have as many or more choices to manipulate voxels in here someday. Not much info on that out there yet.
And most official realesed  pictures are clunky :3.

    Hello Alpha team
I am Damian Firecaster legat of the Core worlds Coalition. I am a former Everquest LANDMARK builder,  Current Space engineer and second life resident. I wanted to see How many Alpha team members are also former LANDMARK voxel mancers (Master voxel builders). You guys are going to show JC/novaquark just what a voxel engine is capable of doing. Also we need to test this engine to see if we can do micro voxels and negative voxels. so sound off. gentlemen and Ladies. we know what our job is, we have been down this road before ( Everquest Landmark) stress test, find every bug in this game and get it fixed, as with landmark we will find Some bugs that we like and that can be turned in to features such as the a fore mentioned micro voxels and negative voxels. we might find others. but our job is to get this planet / game ready for the other colonist that are asleep on the Arkship. My job will be to explore this planet and find resources. I look forward to meeting you guys again, some of you I know from landmark. It will be great to get back to building in voxels like we did in landmark. but this time our creations will FLY !!!! If you see me in game please say hello, I enjoy meeting people. to all other Members of the Alpha team, if you need assistence with building tools or building I will help some. the Ships I will be building are the S.S. Ram (Luxury yacht/Mobile Home (unarmed)), CWC Wolverine (Science-Command ship (ARMED)), CWC Amazon (Runabout(armed)).

Good luck to all of you.
