update? this game shud be rebuilt from the ground up to have a chance to deliver 1/5th of its promised featureset. DU is a mismanged mess that never shud have seen the light of day in its current form. im sure from the steam sales they hoover up a few more victims to keep this charade up for a while, but give or take 3 months and most of those people will quit, and then wut??

havent beeen around for a while, but i do pop in every once in a while to see if any progress has been made to this mismanaged mess, gotta say im rather impressed by the financial resilience of this "company" , they sure have a talent to rake cash together from god knows where to stay afloat for as long as they did, and keep this charade goin with whatever mediocre story this crowd wants to hear.

Is Du in a playable state now? Or is it that the wipe only serves cost cutting measures and nothing more? Either which way it is , dont count on bollox til the space sky is puke blue , the ground is littered with colored roks and machines only work with shematics ,and digging isnt back , those are my most very basic non negotiables.

hahah, du could never once handle what it claimed it could.. it miserably failed from its basic functionalities to almost all aspects of its gameplay. if someone were to (re)make an all inclusive one universe space whatever game, i would not want these people in charge of it.

Nq had all the money they needed to build a game.. they instead moved to montreal to get taxbreaks and god knows what... but it became blatantly clear last year nq was nothing more than a getho version of robertspaceindutries... They had thier chance. by bringing new players into this mess will only create more resentment for both the game and nq, they shud pull the plug and rework thr whole project but i doubt theres any cash left for that..

du itself is too specialized, nothing in it attracts the player numbers needed to be a self sustaining let alone successful title.

du is way past beyond savable, it is clear these people are not competent enough to pull off what they set out to do,... what thier end game is? my guess they either milking some sort of local or government grant , subsidy covid cashcow as long as they can or trying to pimp themselves out to the big boys in montreal , but those aint dumb enough to touch nq with a stick... either way they keepin the lights on for something but it sure as fk its not development ... ?

oo du is a wonder machine!! it first wonderously robs you of your free time , then it wonderfully chisels away your remaining braincells leaving just enough of them to ragequit it ...but the wonder goes on as even having du wiped from my pc for months i still find myself takin a piss at it every so often. maybe just pure convenience my dam wonderful browser never logs me out of this site, i wonder what the next stage is in the lifecycle of an ex du wonderer

nq sucks at making a game with rules so they invent them on the fly calling them intended and and they cant even enforce them coz they suck at that too... you couldn't make this shit up ?

seeing the amount of content, code, features (or lack of ) by a supposedly 50+ employee company makes me wonder if du/nq isnt just a money laundering operation..
