Have your devs play the game , from the start with no god mode

They will learn more from that than any hand picked forum

Just forget about ATV. Their influence was clearly bad on this game.
Learn about the history of MMOs to avoid repeating the same mistakes other already made in past.
And play your own game (without the cheat codes).

So we are loosing the only way to insure our Agg does not fall out of the sky...Im with others...fix the problems BEFORE fixing the methods to work around said problems. Scrap market going to skyrocket in price. All those AGG Haulers falling like rain with no way to stop it LOL...

Maybe you should actually fix the AGG ships falling out of the sky before you introduce this change.  Some of us use this as a workaround to that particular bug, and this will make AGG more or less worthless.

    1) I pursue ship in PVP.

    2) He logs off (instantly stops).

    3) I slow down, turn around, approach it.

    4) He logs back in and is flying at 30,000 km/h away from me while I have 0 speed.

    ARE YOU NUTS ?

Does anyone thinks about those changes at all ?

Please make the ship at least stop if it was shot at in the last 10 minutes (shot, not targeted, targeting can be abused in the safe zone, shooting cannot)

If I can't maneuver tool the voxel board that Yeeted itself 10km away back to my base, then what do I do? Fix game breaking bugs before nerfing the tools we would use to compensate for those bugs.

The Alt-F4 was used to compensate for flaky mechanics. Fix your game before nerfing the tools we use to make this game bearable to play.

And nearly nobody travels at sublight speeds anymore, EVERYONE warps. So this nerfing of Alt-F4 only hurts those trying to not have to repair their ships over and over because of game-breaking bugs. And combined with the fact that elements will have a fixed repair amount, you are going to have people ragequitting in droves...

This is a lie. Or at least a selection from some incomplete data set.

I'm on Madis, and mining is 50% "Pending operation".
People are posting better specs than mine and having a worse time. Pending Operation is a constant feature for me, as is "no buildings" when I get back to base from a few hexes away.
Internet connection speed is definitely a killer. I was (for "reasons" ) trying to run across a shonky WiFi on the 20th, and that really didn't go well.
The interface has to take some blame here. It took me a couple of goes to realise that the "obfuscated" UID and Password fields actually *did* remember the values I had entered, rather than being prompts to enter anew.

"Most" is overstating the issue. "Pending Operation" (and its wicked friends) has nothing whatsoever to do with local PC capabilities; it's *all* about exchange of information and synchronisation with the servers which are struggling to keep up; this morning (BST/UTC time), when there were only a few Europeans and scattered Antipodeans playing, mining was blissfully free of "P.O." and this changed rapidly once the States started waking up, with no significant increase in local population. All the industry that's crashing with "unknown server error" is nothing to do with client device. All the loading screens halting at nn% and not progressing are nothing to do with the client (they happen to people who have a perfectly fine time once in-game). It's all about the backend infrastructure and the architecture of the game lying on top of that.

    Dear NQ,
While I am sure you are working steadily and extremely focused on dealing with the current server issues. I feel it's warranted since it's been nearly a week dealing with these issues, that server issues need to come to an end. And sooner than later. All Betas have a rough start. However this is the worse my community and myself have ever seen.

Server issues for much longer are simply not going to be accepted by the DU community. We are starting to lose players, because they have a bad taste in their mouths, and most will not return.
Players are spending hours and in some cases days on loading screens. Players are dealing with the constant pending operation, computing data, and terrain that doesn't load.
Players can't voice their concerns on Discord, due to the Mod Staff actively silencing discontent, and issuing unwarranted mutes. Which I assume you have directed. And on top of all this we get no communication at all. Just random restarts that actually make game play worse.

Regardless, the server issues need to be wrapped up and soon. You are charging for a Beta, that has no current way to cancel the subscription, and you expect players to just keep dealing with these issues. That's not how this works. Deal with the server issues, even if you have to schedule employees around the clock to get it done. There is no more time on this issue. NQ you are killing the game in the first week of Beta. There is only so much to do in the game, and currently players can't even do it.

Provide an option to recycle elements & materials back to their sub components ore's. Each time would reduce the amounts returned as a cost of processing. Perhaps this might require equipment or skills to drive  performance levels.

these are great , What package you using to make them? would love one for Envoy Corps . See Link https://community.dualthegame.com/accounts/profile/mucus or come up with one if you want. Some simple blue neon Signs for text if you like  eg : Envoy Corps , Dystopia City and Dystopia Spaceport , just letters would be great.

I've been making some animated & neon signs for the Orgs I'm part of and for friend's ships. Because they are GIFs, they can be displayed on ingame screens/signs. I figured I'd share some and see if anyone want's a free animated neon GIF for their org or ship. Either message me or post your existing logo or graphics here and I'll see what I can do. It helps me pass the time when I'm not playing taxi driver for my kids or being yelled at by my wife.

    Cheers,

Basically its a trail that can be left behind you so you can find your way back. either a light , flare breadcrumb or a coloured trail ,luminous floor. Would help when mining in the same material as often you cannot workout where you are as everything looks the same.  Perhaps a device that maps the tunnels for you.

It would be nice if we can general scan a planet before start mining there. Like it show you 10 type of ore available on that planet but only reveal 4-6 common to uncommon type ore, the rest you have to scan by hand on the planet or on the ground ( and of course no location, too easy if it does ).

Also NQ have said they will create a tool help player to get right decision when build a star gate, i think a wide general scan will include.

I came to suggest the same thing today lol. I love it and it would be doable in a short amount of time cause they got the hover engine, all they have to do is redesign somewhat recode  the hover engine and put an XXs thruster/booter

I know I am very bad at drawing

Please create a single element for flying  by standing on.  Think of snowboard with either anti grav or hover capabilities with rear thrusters. Maintains 1-5m above ground/or water. Would be an element in the shop. range will vary by type and fuel  -Max speed 50-100K. Leaves dust or water vapour spray behind. In helmet hud. Boards can have a shelf life and break.

Would help to avoid lots of walking. Could open up a whole new angle to the game - personal transport, moving in/around large objects,  DU sports

Mucus got a reaction from ROOSEE in [DevBlog Feedback] Our thoughts on Territory Protection Mechanics
The assumption that everyone would want to have peace status would infer that that would be the majority of players wishes and thus it would make sense not to coral players in to spots and limit playability for them for PVP. That said, I would expect certain zones to be fixed to allow certain  territory modes only EG: a planet could be deemed only to support  unstable , or war or both.  There is nothing to say this cannot be changed by events also, eg: acts of war , organisation war or changes in economy or politics. What we don't want is that players join , have a limited game experience because non PVP players are not catered for as much as PVP players. This actually is probably the crux of the issue . Eg: how to balance gameplay for both.

I should explain further that , Peace = no PVP without serious consequences to the attacker, Unstable = No Construct destruction but personal combat PVP allowed . War - full pvp both personal and construct . Perhaps you could suggest something.
