Finally got around to being able to show ya something decent.  Just a simple forum sig for MasteredRed, more to come for other DUA members (and myself).  I'm also working on helping out TSE and AI with their own forum sigs (different styles and stuff to suite their needs).

Sooo... yea.  Soon I should start to post some 3D stuff as well!

I'd like to welcome you to this topic today to announce the project that the DUA has been working on for a couple weeks now.
 
This service will allow you to have an organization website without the hassle of setting it up yourself. Think of it as a way to create something interesting but not have to have all the worries of updating it and maintaining it that would normally be involved. While this service is by no means complete, it will showcase some early features that we are looking to provide you.

Now some of you may ask the purpose. Let me direct you to the below paragraph. 
 
Our Purpose
 
We decided when we began the Diverse Unified Alliance(Now Diverse Unified Accord) that we wanted to help organizations get on stable grounds in Dual Universe and really thrive. In order to do that, we have proposed a number of services in order to find out if they will be able to help organizations. While we can not nearly implement them all at the moment without access to the game, we can add a number of them now. This is the start of those services.
 
We hold our ability to deliver upon these services high and hope that you will find a place for them in your organization.
 
 
What you can expect
 
As we announce this new implementation of our services, let me tell you what you can expect from them:
 
-A custom designed webpage to feature the content you want on there
-Certification for organizations that meet the DUA's standards
-Ability to track the number of visitors to your webpage.
 
As of now, we have implemented these features. For future reference, let me point you to what we plan to add.
 
-Organization management panel
-Tracking of organization statistics
-Multi-page organization hosting
 
We aim to pave the way for organizations to host their own content. While we can not reveal all our plans, I will go down to the details below.
 
Cyrule Certification 
 
Cyrule Certification is a service for the individual member that allows them to vet whether the organization they are looking at is a valid and proper organization. In the future, such things may become a problem. As this services implies, Cyrule of the Diverse Unified Accord will examine each organization to ensure that they follow the standards below:
 
-Does not contain Alternative Accounts(Alts)
-Does not scam members
-Does not engage in malicious practices
-Looks to provide a worthwhile experience to its members
 
If your organization abides by the standards above, then it is likely to be certified by our Cyrule branch.
 
Requirements
There are requirements for entry into this service. This is in part due to the fact that I'm not going to pay for large scale server hosting(like NQ). nor do I want to make a product that would eventually cause problems on a community scale(Needing to put your organization on multiple sites to attract attention).
 
So, because of such, the following requirements are involved for your organization to be selected as a candidate or for you to apply for these services:
 
-Does not contain many Alternative Accounts
-Does have good standing with the community
-Does look to gain a website
-Does not tick me angry(ie. enemy)
 
Additions to the above aforementioned requirements, the following does help your case of your organization's ability to join this service:
 
-Is a friend of the DUA
-Is a friend of CSYN
-Is lead by a 'community leader'
-Is small in size and looking for assistance
-Is getting backing by some people or other organizations
 
Conclusion
 
These services are still under heavy development and will need more time to branch out. However, we offer early adopters a chance to be engaged in the early design process and give them an opportunity to make something great of this service.

From what little I've played from EVE and combining it with what Dark said...

In eve there is the "Customs Office" that orbits every planet and so put that mechanic in DU, the player would then have to send it around an already set "orbit" where it would begin to scan the planet's surface.

So to limit what the player can do, there could be different types of offices and modules attached to the satellite that allows it to upgrade the scans of the planet.  
 
For example, a Small Survey Satellite will be relatively cheap and be able to do the basic scanning of a planet, allow just enough info needed to see if the planet is worth any real time for a large org to begin mining it.  Bingo, this planet looks pretty good after waiting some time.  Lets upgrade the satellite to... idk a Medium Kyrium Survey Scanner which is pricey, but allows much quicker results and is specifically for finding rare Kyrium, as opposed to a large clumps of low grade materials.  Uh-oh!  Some pirates showed up and want to blow up the scanner while its doing its thing, well that's why you were smart enough to attached a simple array of Small Hybrid Turrets that can rid those pesky pirates if the satellite is attacked or the shield around it is depleted.  idk

Fuelblocks could be a thing if you used Large structures that allow for many more features and such, or perhaps some "Solar Panel Array" is needed to be equipped and if that is damaged then nothing on the satellite works so a player could essentially steal it without damaging it?

We are bringing you today a new idea that is in the works and we want your opinion. The Alioth Broadcasting Corporation invites the content creators of Dual Universe to take part in creating a 24/7 live audio streaming network of content focused around Dual Universe.
 
We envision a platform that allows anyone from the Dual Universe community to apply and DJ/host on this station, creating their own shows or podcasts based on Dual Universe in some way or another. DJ Hosts are allotted time slots that work with their schedule where they can play music, talk to players, run radio games, talk DU news and more.
 
At the moment we are still in the early phases of testing our streaming platform and trying to integrate player ads and DJ interfaces in a cohesive manner so that it is as seamless and automated as possible.
 
We're asking that any organizations that may want their ads played to send us (on discord preferably) 30-60 second ads based around your org (think radio ads). For now, just come up with short, simple ads for the community to hear. We are going to be using these ads to test airspace and control.
 
 
 
In addition to ad content, we are also looking for people who might be interested in being a  DJ, whether live or just pre-recorded content so that we can start running through a beta schedule. That also includes talk shows or broadcasts centered around your organization. If you would like to be a DJ or want to try it out, let us know and we will start testing with multiple people. Requirements for becoming a DJ are a clear microphone (if you're going to be speaking) and you must be able to download (install and setup) the appropriate streaming software onto your own computer. You must also have free time(s) available sometime during the week for about 1-2 hours minimum.
 
Over the next couple of weeks we will be running through a beta schedule, and while we don't expect much content to fill the air until at least alpha launches, we wanted to get this up and running now with a sane scheduling system and enough content-producers lined up so that we can launch the complete station all at once.
 
 
 
If you would like to be a part of Dual Universe Radio Network, let us know by sending us a message through discord or the forums (this forum). As this is a new idea, we would love any input the community has, so let us know your thoughts or questions below.
 
We want to stress that this is being built as a neutral, 3rd party group that will take no bias towards any other organization. Our goal with this network is simply to keep it operational and to keep it fun for our listeners. We don't favor one group or another, however, individuals on the network are free to represent their own thoughts and opinions under certain guidelines we will have in place.

Edit: Had some people asking if they need to credit me if they use these banners... the answer is no since most of the content in the banners is already novaquark copyright... so just handle it how you would if it was from novaquark.

Although a crucial first step, it will still take time for things to be fixed. Be wary of that and continue to act upon your word.

To be fair, we've heard this from you before, several times. But if you really mean it and you show it, you might be able to earn your way back into good repute.

ODS Ganymede, prototype and lead ship of the Ganymede Class Assault Frigate, operating ahead flank propulsion during mobility trials near the Haedus Terminal shipyards, Alioth system. In concert are a flight of Valgard Class space superiority fighters, tasked with monitoring the test and gathering telemetry for later analysis. The trial was a success, and the Ganymede Class went on to become a mainstay sub-capital combat ship within several ODY affiliated entities. The vessel represented a significant evolution of compact, lightweight structural design and armor doctrine
 
 
Here is my submission. This was a lot of fun to make, and my first Blender project so I'm glad this contest gave me an excuse to learn it.

This was a weekend project of mine, mainly fueled by boredom, to build a scale 1 Voxel model of a Dynamic Core Core Unit .
