    every words is exactly what i can say thanks Czar  > I'm personally not a fan of this.  Industry may be annoying or time consuming or tedious in some aspects but the most important thing that industry and factories and building elements brings is purpose.  Goals to achieve as one expands and grows as a player.  For those of us that have big factories, a lot of us do because it provides literally years of gameplay.  I've been playing for 1.5 years now and every element I add to my factory is a personal accomplishment.  It's the culmination of selling blueprints that I've created, or mining or salvaging or missioning.  It's the year and a half of building something that's very intricate and delicate and complex and yes, tedious.  + ask your self how many days your life time you spend digging underground to get we say Rare XL manewer engine schematic (286 million price )(or we say beacon)  NQ you agayn going to wrong way !!

    So you decided to rip off Eve directly once more. Not inventing a gameplay loop of your own but directly copying an existing one and not even trying to hide it. 
     
    If I wanted to play eve I would go play that. But the way you guys keep going you might as well go back and work for CCP.

    i guess i might not understand correctly how this new system will work but so far it sounds like a mistake, the fact that the schematics are consumable more specifically sound like a mistake it will simply get things even more complicated to manage. Keep in mind that the best limit we had is that players with high talents are able to sell items for cheaper than the cost in material a player with no talents could build an item. That alone forces players to specialise in industry if they are serious about it. For now mining units can supply ore easely since the amount of players is verry low but with a greather amount of players that situation should change and help to sell ore at a reasonable price to stimulate the economy.
     
    As of right now it sounds like a system that will stimulate the creation of alt accounts so that players can have easy access to the schematics talents tree

    I'm also concerned about the push towards Coop or more than likely requiring alts making industry pay to play. 
     
    I'm concerned about how this will limit the market capabilities for the parts.  While DU is in beta, I wouldn't expect there to be parts only manufacturing, but it's not unreasonable to expect there to be a market for these items with a larger player base.
     
    I'm mostly concerned about the elimination of Goals to achieve in DU.

    Hey  guis ,right now the amount  ore from mining units is very bad , my self i cant even supply with basic my factories!!!! Devs lift up amount of ore to 10000L per hour as is done in many other projects like no man sky ,starbase end so on ,we dont have to live in game ! right now i coming to game like for work after work is no fun, dont know how long i survive in the dimeter but you make my worst nightmare true ,i hope Du guis see topic before is to late.

    Hi,
    i write this because i believe in constructive criticism. 
     
    DU was my big hope in terms of an MMO. I loved the integrated Systems and thought it would go into the right direction.
    I payed even if i stopped playing for some months, because i believed that will be the new kind of MMO.
     
    But now i want to discribe my Gameplay in DU as a Casual Gamer with an 9 to 5 job:
     
    Any Production - gone, its to expensive and cheaper to buy stuff from big corps
    Mining - I do mining to pay my taxes. I need to mine low Tier Ore , because in not secured space my ship will be destroyed and robbed.
    Calibrating - it forces me to calibrate my MU for what reason? Game Economy? nope there are no costs. so only to steal my time and generate Server load.
    Asteroid Mining for a Casual Gamer ? No clue .. didnt try it yet, if it takes hours then possible not a casual gamestyle.
    Traveling - need to fly without warp, because it would be to expensive and i need to farm more for my taxes, so 4hours for a trip in one direction ...
    Nice gameplay .. perhaps a mini game like calibration for that flight to prevent afk flying? that would be nice. thats value play time ....
     
    My Conclusion :
     
    I do Mining, Calibration and flying around to pay my taxes and stuff. around 80% of my playtime.
    i have some fun to build a ship but thats only a small part of my playtime because my time is limited. and if i had to work 80 % of that time for my taxes, there isnt much left.
     
    If DU will stay on that course, there will be a hand full of big corps and some pirates. nothing for new players to stay for. 
    and for what will the playerbase stay in the game? Story , discoveries and stuff ? Nope...
     
    The Game seams to get the playstile of be a wheel in a big corp. Do what is nessessary for the Corp to get the benefits. 
     
    thats like real life work in a game ...
     
    i lost my ship with ore for my taxes today , that was the drop of water that makes the vase overflow.

    im not happy with ammount of ore from mining units ,its a jouke,i like to see 10000L per hour than 86-130 per houre .130  l not covering my factories needs it all ,calibration is one more bad thing we have more calibrations but timer still 3.5 hours nothing realy chenged what i say diemeter ,panacea ,armagedon that all stay together you guis ruin the economy of the game , bring back ore> lift amount of ore form MU let people have fun

    I vote NO for taxes i dont wanna seat on Sactyary end login once a day for 150k to be able to pay land tax for single hex,this patch is a game killler.
    End i dont wanna hear comments from guis who seat on one tile end picking up some ore stones from syrface you guis will be ok nothing to loose.

    1. If I understood correctly from seeing one of the vlogs they said the scans would still be valid as to the ores that were scanned, not the quantity of course. NQ said the existing scans would still be valid... they said it...
    2. I put time in playing the game, I don't have time to cry on the forums each day...

    4. No I don't understand, I think atleast 60% of the all the territories all over the galaxy haven't been scanned. There is still good stuff to be found. Let the players who worked their asses off keep their territories with the precious ores on them.

    we will be clearing all scan results from the game when Demeter goes live...
     
    Wait.... WHAT???
     
    This means all the f**king hundreds of hours we spent on finding precious ores and the paying of f**king hundreds of millions of quanta in tax to own those territories AND the investments of buying the multiple f**king territory scanners AND building f**king special ships to do the scanning will ALL be in vain... THANK YOU NQ! with this decision you listen to the cry babies who will drop out of the game if they don't get it their way. They will always be dissatisfied... AND NOW you will loose a lot of veteran players spending so much wasteful energy and time and quanta on improving their status in DU. I think you underestimate the impact... RIP NQ.

    Error in the dev blog? 
    For example, if a territory has a pool of 100 l/h of a given ore and each mining unit is capable of extracting 50 l/h, then you need four mining units to maximize your extraction capacity, and any additional mining unit beyond four won't give you more yield.
    Should that read either 2 mining units or alternatively 25 l/h
    Or, am I not understanding something?

    We have over 7000 scans, we worked hard for those scans, but you don't want to give us an advantage, fine.
     
    I have totally maxed mining and terraforming talents.  I can get through the dirt and mine literally millions of liters of ore a day, by myself.
     
    Under the new structure, with limited calibrations, how can anyone with 1 account ever hope to amass anything?  I have 6 accounts.  All six accounts calibrating synergized mining units will take more than a week to mine what I can mine in an hour now, free mining on any planet.
     
    Unless you plan to DRASTICALLY reduce material costs or enact a way for us to mine more efficiently with our own time investment, you are setting a hard cap on what can be mined that is minuscule compared to what we can mine now.  And now we have to pay taxes to even mine.
     
    And asteroids in PVP space is not a replacement for planetary mining.  Also why are you refunding mining talents if you can still use them on asteroids?
     
    I understand you had a database issue, believe me my high end computer struggled to dig what I dug.  But you have gutted the core game play of this game and created a hard cap on the resources an individual or small group can gather while increasing the cost to do so.
     
    I think our manual mining single scoop record is about 525L.  Please tell me how going from 300-400 tier 1 every 5 seconds is going to be replaced by 100L an hour?  I guess if I only mined 3 minutes a day it is an improvement.  But as someone who's personal record was almost 6 million ore in one day, your new system leaves a lot to be desired particularly from those that are will to put in the time and effort to get ahead.
     
    Your new system will promote lots of accounts and afk game play.  May be good for subscription sales, but is horrible for the game in the long run.  All hexes will be claimed.  Then after  you finally get a good hex you will enact pvp and make us defend it 24/7.
     
    You all have your sights set right down the crapper and are destroying the gather/crafting aspect of this game which draws the majority of your existing fan base.  You want to cater to the PVP community because PVP games have the highest player base.
     
    Problem is your PVP interface is frankly boring.  Compared to the likes of Elite Dangerous PVP feels more like an arcade game and less like a space simulator.
     
    Frankly I don't care about PVP besides the obvious and inevitable march towards PVP everywhere with making it very difficult to manufacture what is needed to even PVP effectively.
     
    So mine forever to make items that you will allow anyone to destroy.  Add a tax because you can't figure out how to create a functional economy.  Having bots buy ore sets a cap on what anything is worth.  Make it difficult to mine and the cost of ore goes through the roof making the manufacture of anything not worthwhile.
     
    I hardly play this game anymore if it is because of the pending operations while digging the the dirt or because I see the writing on the wall that you a making a slow methodical march towards and all out PVP MMO when that is not the community that is bolstering your subscriptions.
     
    Sure watching someone that talks like a used car salesman that has had too much coffee create explosions on the screen is more fun to watch then the player that spends days, weeks even months mining and creating structures and ships that I know you will eventually allow the first to annihilate the second in the hopes it will sell more subscriptions.

    What a waste of time! Scanned a houndred of tiles last two weeks. Everyone was able to do the same. I'm sooo pissed. Don't know if i really want to play this game anymore. Wasted too much time the last weeks. Just for nothing Thank you!

    That only works if the ore goes straight into producing something that is worth more on the markets.
    Buying ore for large base build projects etc. dosen't work in the long run for obvious reasons. And mining fatigue is a REAL thing in this game, and is making players quit.
