Guest Firedeamon
I have made some awful decisions. I am wondering if it's possible to start a new game?
joaocordeiro
They are not going to give you your talent points back. So you might as well just start from scratch with what you have right now. What decision would prevent you from playing the game?
blazemonger
The only "wrong" decisions you can make are how you train your character, everything els eis pretty much reversible.. And you can always start training the "right" talents so that is also hardly something that would require a character reset.
CptLoRes
Unless you have gotten on the wrong side of some people, the only thing you have wasted is time. The starter points won't do much, so there is no real advantage starting new. It will take the same time to build talents regardless. So start building talents in the new direction with the character you already have, and look at the other talents as a bonus.
Mordgier
Most newbies mess up by living too far from the market on sanctuary or by mining out their tile, losing their ships and feeling like they are now 'stranded'. Really best way out of that is to join an org that is willing to uber you to their base - of course if you are trying to do it all alone it's not an option.....but hey if you wanted to play hard mode - play hard mode. Anopheles
Even choosing bad talents can be reversed given enough time.

Merely suboptimal or unnecessary ones for a given situation or goal. MadmanMac, Elrood and Anopheles
CptLoRes
Exactly. There are no conflicting talents. Eventually we will all end up at 100% everything, provided we keep playing the game long enough. So the only value here is time, which is lost regardless if you start a new character. So the only reasons for a reset that I can think of, would be either to change identity or to relocate the sanctuary zone.

Even that is not necessary a mistake - just maybe inconvenience at the beginning and imho completely overridden by lag free environment around me. tmarkd1
So I guess the answer is, There is no way to restart the game over again from scratch
Mordgier
No. Because you can't unclaim sanctuary tiles. Else you could generate infinite claims for sanctuary. Moosegun
