  9. Welcome Primate I don't have access to the Pre-Alpha, however, everything Iv'e seen/read/heard gives me great optimism for the game as it develops. Definitely a game to watch, and if its your cup of tea, well worth purchasing a supporter pack - which is what I did this week. In fact it's the only game I've ever supported in this way. Naturally thats up to you to decide if its something you may like to do, but for me it was the right decision. Hope this little feedback helps
  10. NQ has shown the ability to smooth voxels down, reducing them from their original size, so such an ability is already available in a basic form.
  11. Afaik explosives will be part of DU at some point.

  13. A torch might be able to be created with a switch and a light emitting element of some kind. This might not exist totally atm but might in the future.
  14. And even if there was some approx balance for DACs values it doesnt stop someone from scamming or creating an amazing "business triange" to leverage the effort one needs to earn a DAC - such is life Btw. I have a lovely star gate to sell you... *chuckles*
  15. I really doubt you can move any avatar besides either bumping them at high speed or put them on some form of mobile platform - but even then they still have to be put on one.... so yea, good luck with that lol.
  16. as per one of the dev preview vids you can split your construct apart - which I think would technicality make two at that point, then take a blueprint of the engine part, then join your construct back together again.

  18. I dont want any rest/sleep mechanic.... my real life rest/sleep mechanic takes care of that.
  19. U could still drop a tonne of material on someone and burry them..... there is more than one way to attack someone
  20. A survival game includes the need to eat, keep warm etc otherwise you die. AFAIK DU will not impliment this and doesnt intend on doing it a later date. I wouldnt enjoy DU if a survival mechanic was introduced. As our avatars have much more important things to do than eat n sleep.
  21. Thats what blueprints are for. You can use them to manufacture multiple copies of the same item making them ideal for producing modular items. Its also what DUs Elements are all about - modular items that can be added to a construct to perform various functions, from engines to cockpits to doors to forefields to shields etc etc etc.
