huschhusch got a reaction from Henne Popenne in Bruderschaft der Alten sucht Mitglieder
Hallo GeniusGames,

huschhusch reacted to Henne Popenne in Logbuch - Bruderschaft der Alten

huschhusch got a reaction from Henne Popenne in Bruderschaft der Alten sucht Mitglieder
Hallo WildChild85,

huschhusch got a reaction from Lachenlaud in Blueprint description
English (deepl used)
Hello Lachenlaud,
yes the exchange of voxel in the blueprint would be very helpful.
The execution of blueprints which consist of more than 1280m³ will come anyway, or NQ must allow linkcontainer which are bigger. (e.g. space stations)
Because where does NQ want to set the limits?
Unless NQ takes the Blueprint as a special container.
My suggestion is: the blueprint can be filled. But nothing more can be taken out and it can only be executed if everything is in it. In addition, the Blueprint weighs as much as its content.

huschhusch reacted to GraXXoR in Sandbox vs Themepark MMOs - What do you think?
I initially enjoyed Elite Dangerous due to the open ended sandbox nature of the game. However, if I take the liberty of tediously stretching a metaphor to breaking point, the ED sandbox was literally a mile wide and only an inch deep and as for working tools, only a small spoon was provided.
There were scoops without handles, some didn’t even have a bottom edge, there were wireframe outlines of some toy earth-movers, a bit of paper that said, “this will be a bucket” and a photograph of a hose labeled “water”.
Literally nothing was fleshed out properly and still hasn’t been after three years.
And I haven’t even mentioned the open ended endless repetitive grind that pervaded every single aspect and the only interaction was to shoot stuff.
It was like a sandbox filled with tiny little repetitive FTP “amusement” parks.
The reason I chose to jump ship is because DU promises to allow the players to actually communicate meaningfully and achieve something together. A real sandbox with real tools and an incredible level of openness.

huschhusch reacted to Stolas in Character Tag with Mini-Logo's of Corps that the character belongs too
I would prefer the option to choose whether or not I would want to show my orgs in my character tag. Sometimes I would wanna be secretive just incase

huschhusch reacted to CoreVamore in Character Tag with Mini-Logo's of Corps that the character belongs too
I thought that once we are in game, and if the corps are big enough, you may not know that the guy/gal walking behind you isnt a stalker, just a fellow corp-mate going to the same place as you.
This could be fixed by having little corp mini logo's shown in the characters tag. Maybe to a max of 5 logos.
(Having corp mini logo's on part of the characters body would also be good - maybe on the shoulder/upper arms? This could be all the logo's as there are more rooms on arms than in tags.)
Assuming there is also a friend or foe system in DU maybe also a little green/grey/red circle in the tag showing if friend/neutral/enemy.
(Though technically, since there are multiple corps, you may have the situation that someone is both friend and foe )
This way you can see friends from foes - most of the times

huschhusch reacted to Henne Popenne in Bruderschaft der Alten sucht Mitglieder
Hallo zusammen,
Henne Popenne

huschhusch reacted to NQ-Nyzaltar in no AVX = no go ?
Hi everyone,
@Kirth Gersen
AVX instructions have been implemented in intel processors in 2011 and AMD processors in 2012 (for processors oriented to gaming activity, which generally does not include Xeon processors made before 2013 and Celeron processors). These instructions give a substantial improvement performance-wise. While a lot of games rely mostly on GPU Power, this is not the case for some games, using voxel technology. Voxel calculation is, for the moment, mostly handled on CPU side (at least for the moment, as no current GPU is optimized to calculate Voxels). That's why having AVX instructions is required.
For some games, it could make sense to make a "No AVX required" version. For others, like Dual Universe, it's not worth it: the performances would be so bad without AVX, that it's not worth it to spend a fair amount of time (re)developping a "No AVX required" version. So no, there is no short term plan to remove AVX requirements.
"Minimal" requirements are the minimal specs to be able to launch the game, not to have a decent game experience.
That's what "Recommanded" specs are for: to have a decent game experience.
That being said, if you want to ask for a refund for this reason, please contact the Customer Support at support@novaquark.com
Best Regards,
Nyzaltar.
