Side-note: It would be nice if someone could spend some time on improving the Talent Point interface. Things like exporting a list of your currently trained talents, importing a training list, etc. Multiselct skills, richtclick, move to top/bottom, etc.

Gl with that. Devs ignore this request for years now. Either they simple CAN'T change it or they don't WANT to. Either way, i said it before and i say it again:

Their UI dev should be fired. Never seen a more clunky, uninteresting, useless and very bad UI

I am interested in creating content for this game. But at the moment I don't have the tools to do that.
As for my idea/thoughts above, I would like to see that over time you could join an organisation/faction in the game that is not controlled and taxed by aphelia, but could create new organisations.
Why can't I join a "pirate faction Blackpearl" in the game that can create their own system. If a player dies there, he is not revived in the safezone at Aphelia, but generally in his faction base on planet XY. (This main base also has a safezone, from there these pirates Blackpearl can also spread out in all directions. Besides this faction, there could be many factions, but all of them have their own protected planets. From a purely lore-technical point of view, this would make more sense. If we always allow criminals to upload to aphelia, it is simply unbelievable.

Doesnt change anything either because then lots of ppl can still join the safezone faction and be pirates.

But sure, more factions would make sense.

And no, letting players decide who can join them in a safezone is not a good idea either. This needs to be done by NQ.

Why are looters and war criminals still allowed into the safe zone and to accept missions at Aphelia? These traitors to our society should be hunted down everywhere! No opportunities to buy or sell anything on the market, no safe zones to enter, etc. THAT would be credible content

Wouldnt change anything, then they just use alts or friends to get their stuff. Also, this would be pretty useless because who counts to that group? Everyone who shot someone? What about a war? What about ppl who defended themselves?

It's up to players to hunt them down, not NQ to punish someone to actually do what pvp Space is there for

Waiting for power so long. I think a lot of chance there is will no power in future =(

That's kinda the problem. Power would solve many long standing issues with balance (industry, taxes, tiles taken but players left, balancing the game in preparation for ava/atmo pvp, getting new pve loops, creating a market for ppl interested in doing that, create more oppertunity to get new mechanics on the way like territory Shields and so on). But NQ goes for an easy cop out it seems

  5. Power mechanics mate. That would make up for taxes, New gameplay loops, balancing, new work loops, New pve loops, ....

But hey, guess it's easier to just do it the NQ way instead if just think about it for a second ans give us mechanics which avtually make sense and were promised long Time ago AND would solve a lot of problemes

  6. Sure, but then it depends on how Mandy contracts there are, how many you can accept as a Player and what happens if you can't (or deliberately don't) fulfill it.

Vetter then the original idea but still gas holes

  7. In the end it doesnt matter if this is legit or not. At least it brings Interactions.

If it's legit, superb, Nice, well done

If it's not, noone will fall for it (or only noobs where they can't rob anything either way) so it's also Nice and well done

Correct me if im wrong but Johnny liking this could also mean he likes thé interaction. Because you know. Then there isnt ONE ship to Fight out there but SEVERAL, which makes life more fun in du.

You just dont know ans just imply and think you're right because of personal biases

obviously you can't claim your own. let's have a brain for a minute. you'll be able to see a bounty placed on yourself. if there is an active bounty on you, you can see that as well and not accept it. #derp. more along the lines of "there is a bounty on me, it doesn't cost much. if I get caught, I get caught." OR "well s***, this price is up there and I don't wanna get caught, time to run and hide."

I can use my alt to take it.or a friend. #derp. let's have a brain for a minute

  9. Just putting a pricetag on someones head and then hunt them won't do it because it can easily bei abused.

There needs to bei more control mechanics to do that, otherwise I just get all the rewards myself If someone puts a bounty on me

Let me tell you story of 90% of players which you absolutely don't get because of your limited mindset or absolute ignorance.
There are good pvp games out there and those interested in pvp, go to the game where you can showcase your skill and not the depth of your purse, be it IG or real life wallet.
And DU is not one of them as it lack fundamental mechanic to provide meaningful and demanding pvp.
Vast majority of players come to DU because of *caugh caugh* suprise! it's a building game with ability to build almost any ship or building.
Entire game is build around voxels and NQ decided to add incredibly boring mechanic of procuring ores.
Then they added pvp which works like some very sloppy iterations of eve online without consideration and knowledge how it actually works.

Yes, DU lacks basic PVP mechanics, fun gameplay, emergent properties and meaningful PVP. No issue here.

And yes, many ppl come here for the building stuff - which btw they can enjoy to full extent without EVER participating in PVP

And i can assure you most players don't give a crap about the pvp in this game because it suck terribly in the first place.
But then we have people like you or bored people and those who can't do a competitive pvp so they pretend they are good at pvp and just grieve on non-pvp players in games like DU.
If you think, skill have anything to do in DU version of pvp you are very very very sad and misguided soul.
Yes it require skill, but only in matter of how to operate the mechanic, there is no reward for doing it better or any way intelligent way.
it's just lock and shoot and occasional reload. Enemy have no way to escape you, no way to detect you, no way of fighting you.
The whole idea is just boring and i'm surprised that legion players actually still do it which clearly indicate you are not here for pvp, you are here to grieve people, put the salt into the would and brag about your incredibly sophisticated kills.

Sure they don't care - because it's crap. IF it wouldn't suck as hard, more ppl would enjoy it. Maybe that will come with planetary PVP / AVA / CVA....who knows if NQ can make it fun.

Again, there is nothing like griefing on non-pvpers in DU. As soon as anyone enters the PVP zone, they accept PVP. They deliberatly go there, knowing that PVP might happen.

PVP IS boring and in a pretty bad shape atm (again, no issues here) and NQ doesn't seem to acknowledge that. Very good, engaging and fun mechanics were proposed for years, only to be ignored by NQ. PVP needs good mechanics like detection, stealth, signatures and so on so ppl can hide their ship from others in some way or the other and pirates need specialized ships and crew to counter that too. Take eve: there are ships which can't be seen on dscan, are stealthy all together or can jump with a micro jump drive. Everything can be countered, but you need another special ship to do so which makes it more fun for everyone.

Truth is almost no1 is interested in PVP and most of people just don't want to even deal with it.
Yes we can band together and fight you, but there is no incentive towards it.
It's building game not pvp game, there is no reward for us for killing you.
You will just get a new ship and come again.
This is why we complain because we just don't want it, and we don't want to fight you bcs it's boring.
Even if i kill you what will it give me? Some broken elements and empty cargo?
15 minutes later there will be another legion ship and i will just waste my life on meaningless and boring activity of killing one mosquito.

true - because it's in a bad shape. Would there be fun mechanics, it wouldn't suck as much and more ppl would engage in it.

Incentives are lacking in DU - there is no power management, no territory warfare, no use in holding any territory or space - NQ does need to tackle those problems or this game will die out of boredom

no, it's a game with 6 pillars. building is one of them. as is PVP

Then don't go to the pvp zone if you don't want to fight - there is a huge safezone for you to mine and build there. But for many ppl, just building shiny things which server NO PURPOSE AT ALL is pretty boring, bad gameplay and utterly useless. Wow, you've built the 50th base. Yawn. All rooms in every base are useless, they don't serve any function whatsoever (except storage, landing pads and industry).
