    Example: one thing I don't like about Space Engineers that breaks immersion is that you can cover the intake of an atmospheric engine without any negative effect. Also you can completely enclose any thruster inside of a ship.
     
    Would it be possible to not allow this on constructs in DU?

    The thruster component could add some sort of no build zone extending from the intake and exhaust, which would be different with each thruster.

    Suppose they could make bombs that are essentially very slow missiles, mechanics-wise. Good idea if it can be balanced well.

    I would like the ability to manage my market orders and other things via an app on my phone, so I would much rather have an API that allows me to do that than a limited one that only allows read access to my market orders.
     
    I mean it's 2017 and you still can't manage your skill queue offline in Eve, I don't particularly understand the reasoning behind that anymore. 
     
    There are plenty of things we'll need to be logged in to do, like building/prospecting/mining/etc, but do I really need to have a gaming laptop with me everywhere I go to make updates to my orders or move some skills around my training queue from time to time?

    The developers have indeed said they want stealth mode! Not easy to find the source though.

    Stealth would definitely be an awesome addition, adding a whole new way to play the game, and also possibly make logging out safer. Also, it would be good for solo players who would like to hide their stuff. Of course there would be negative effects to using it; most likely you would be revealed upon using anything that consumes more than a little bit of energy.

    NPCs ruin and defeat the purpose of MMOs as far as I'm concerned. If I wanted to fight NPCs I'd play a single player game. I wouldn't mind the threat of NPCs for the purpose of guarding resources, but nothing should be gained (XP, money, loot) when killing them, other than access to the resources, otherwise it would introduce a grind. But even that would make the resources easier to find because the NPC would be a marker for them. So I really don't think they are necessary at all in DU.
