Welcome to the community!

I've always wondered this too ... I'd imagine they are like the rest of the voxels though and behave in the same manner

To add to @Kael, don't forget that you could always chuck a bunch of Screen Units together to make a bigger screen, even if they only come in pre-defined sizes. It will be interesting to see if the kind of interactions we saw in the DevDiary like the game would be usable by players if the owner of that element is not nearby to activate it.
That might require some interesting scripting if there is not some basic support for that

I love the posters, Shaw!

¡Bienvenidos a la communidad! Creo que es muy importante a tener grupos de lenguas differentes (como una communidad hispanoblante). ¡Ojala que tengan buena suerte!
(Permiso, no he practicado español por mucho tiempo )

Hmmm I'm guessing you mean the mac pro? If I recall, the hardware in that is more targeted at video editing and other professional work rather than gaming. I suppose that could have the hardware to run it if they ever add support for macs. It certainly wouldn't be running the game at top graphics though

Perhaps we need some sort of of specialised group of players who are interested in working on a separate record of the games history and the orgs within it ... Some sort of Historical Society ...

Orgs don't belong on the wiki, yet.
Until the game launches, no orgs can really prove themselves or even demonstrate that they will survive more than a week in the game. Some might not even make it to launch. There is no point in cluttering up the wiki with potentially transient material.
That said, eventually after release some orgs will become very influential in the game, and that is important information. You can teach people every mechanic in EVE but they won't be able to properly navigate the game unless they have a basic understanding of who and what is where. So eventually, I think there should be some basic info on the wiki about the larger and more influential groups, but it should be separated from the mechanics and carefully curated.

I think you are mistaken. Most people will end up being involved with PvP combat at some point. That's just the nature of the game. If you aren't trying to initiate then you will be trying to defend your stuff

Luckily my lady has not banned me from it yet, but she gets this look when I start going on about it that tells me I should stop ....

I volunteer to have money thrown at me too.
On a serious note though, is love to be able to buy DACs now that way I can stock up over time. Like paying my subscription fee early

I still can not :'(
I fact I can not reply to any toppic in "Rules & Announcements ".
How can I tell if a Toppic is locked? I can't spot any Indicator telling me.
I believe the entire rules and announcements section is locked. Generally, you can tell it's locked because you can't reply to it. Also, sometimes there is a little padlock icon.

Eh. I think the idea of having some advanced copyright protection mechanism in the game would be a bit dumb. Once the game starts people are going to start creating a wide variety of designs and after a year or two, many of the most common designs will already be 'taken'. Anyone who joined after would be at a disadvantage since they have to try and create something new or lose most of their income to someone else.
I think some people overestimate exactly how creative they can be as well. You're not going to create some innovative design that will change the face of the game and no one else thought of so everyone will want to copy its not rocket science to figure out that reducing mass makes the ship faster, or adding more thrusters makes in more maneuverable. No one is going to 'discover a way to make engines perform 30% better that no one else thought of'. The game may not have predefined ship types but general ship classes will emerge anyways. The point of blueprints is less about protecting you intellectual property than it is about facilitating production.
Succeeding at industry will be less about 'having amazing designs that no one else has ever thought of' and more about delivering the right quantity ships to the right locations at the right price.
