  1. No, you compare Apples to oranges. How is "having 10 ppl with NO skills" even remotely comparable to "someone with 10accs fully trained"? It isnt. Cause you know. Some guy with 10 accs starting and some org with 10 ppl starting have the SAME AMMOUNT of skillpoints Read his comment again and mine. One guy having 10 accs isn't any advantage. Because he cant play all 10 simultaneously. 10 ppl in an org are perfectly fine. Ergo, an org with 10 ppl is ALWAYS superior to one guy. Regardless of the alts. He alone can do more stuff when compared to another guy with one acc. But he pays for it. And he cant do ANYTHING which anyone cant do within an org. So yes, That's not p2w at all. Because in an org ppl do specialize too and can do stuff
  2. You dont seem to realize that the exact same thing is done via orgs. So orgs are p2w too I guess
  3. Please show how one guy with 10 accs dies better than one org with 10 ppl playing. They will have more ressources, more production, more everything. But please show, I do want to know. Yeah. If botting is ACTIVELY playing the game then sure..... The Crux with the talent system is that it doesn't really force ppl to specialize because nothing is gated behind talents like in eve. In that regard du by design is made to please everyone, thus making everyone a jack of all trades. That has nothing to do with talents being passively gained tho, it's NQs design of that system
  4. Nope, That's what orgs are there for too for newbros. Band together and specialize, it's a mmo. Doesn't matter in that regard and it's not an advantage whatsoever because the guy cant do anything which an org can't do. So the premise is already false Actively aquiring talents would just Lead to bots doing the stuff and ppl simply leaving them running
  5. 1) sure 2) certainly 3) nope. Definitely keep the spotlight in bad things and make ppl aware what's wrong and right in this game. 4) certainly. And also do that constantly ofc. Cause you know, only doing it for the positive is driving a narrative. And thats bad 5) no. Its more like. I play this game and here is my feedback. They dont have to ask for it, they get it anyway That's why I make ppl aware what's Bad in this game. I don't lure ppl in here (and never did) because I only tell them the good things. I tell them the full story and what's good and bad about du. It's just that there's little which is good and much that is bad to me
  6. So everyone who calls NQ out on smth or feels like this game could do much better when X was there or anyone who feels like X was a bad idea by NQ should just stfu and move on. Yeah, that will certainly be better for the game Giving them flak for Bad decisions is as valid and good as giving them kudos for doing good stuff
  7. Selling skill points is only good for RMT, nothing else. Everything else: what blaze said
  8. They always said that they want an ingame shop for cosmetics and stuff
  9. still wondering why ppl can start topics in "BETA UPDATES AND ANNOUNCEMENTS" - this isn't a category for plebs to post something @NQ-Naunet
  10. Telling him to stick to one thread and not spamming it all over the forum doesn't say anything about if I like or "hate" it
  11. Forums are there for exactly that - sorry to break it to you
  12. Especially when considering that there are ppl like you commenting and elaborating on many of those ideas. So gg blaze, you actually do better than NQ with 6 ppl obviously xD That Argument from NQ is just a cheap cop out when considering that
  13. Exactly this. Im not into building games at all and never played factorio ir Minecraft or that stuff but for some reason I picked up dyson sphere program a few days ago which is in early access rn. And guess what, all the basic funcionality is in the game right from the start and I love it so far, sitting at 60h and rising. When compared to NQs labeling that game might as well be at release rn and not in early access. Go figure
  14. Well I guess it took a long time to do but in the end this is just like a "beautiful" ship. Nice. Well done. Moving on
  15. Thats what jc always said. But he talks a lot so who knows if That's true
  16. Sure, maybe one day. But not for now imho. In order to do that you would first need proper temporary rdms rights in order for that guy to do that task. And you would need to split your territory and assign only the plot you want to have flattened. Both aren't ingame atm and thats why I said those tasks MAY be there in the future but the very basic mechanics to do that are missing so I can't see it happening in the near future
  17. for pvp missions to even be viable / useful there are loads of mechanics missing - that's why this might/may/who knows when be ingame, CERTAINLY not now If/maybe/it would be cool.....that's exactly what I'm saying. Dreams and hopes - nothing more.
  18. you started the quote with the wrong sentence there. it started with this: in regards to the ****MISSION SYSTEM**** there is nothing else to do. If you think that building some random ships or interacting with others or race tracks or mazes or puzzles or pvp will be part of the mission system then please elaborate how that's going to work. This *MIGHT* be ingame at some point but again: DU lacks so many different mechanics for this that they simply can't implement that now. And again, that doesn't mean it will never be in the game - but that is simply a hope and dream and what DU *could* do, not what it actually does
  19. well thing is, you *still* have faith in them doing the right thing - which I had back then but lost it about 1,5 years ago... I realized that they just won't (and can't) deliver what was promised and they now just try to save it from being a complete trainwreck. It's just a conglomerate of what there could be - dreams, hopes, well articulated ideas to get ppl dreaming. But that's all DU is. The actual game and the actual mechanics aren't even close to how they pitch the game now or in the past. and quite honestly: what do you expect from the mission system? There isn't anything to do in DU except mining. So the ONLY mission there will be is: bring me X amount of ore/elements to Y (created by players) and maybe some "NPC" missions by aphelia to transport goods from market X to market Y to have a second true quanta faucet. Nothing more will be there because DU lacks so many other mechanics. Sure, they can build on that later on, but for now (and I suspect for some months) that will be the only thing to do with missions. Will that be enough for ppl? We will see Will that new money faucet even be viable? We will see But imho it will be so basic and rudimentary that it won't get ppl truly interested - since those "bring me X ore/elements" is already in the game with market orders. But oh wait, economy doesn't work....
  20. Can't answer for him but I'm here because it's hilarious. And because I want ppl to get to know NQ for what they did wrong, or why it's only sweet talk the CMs do, but nothing ever changes. And yes, idc if you don't understand that - I'll keep Posting and laughing
  21. Still the only example given is mining.... because there isn't anything else to do (for earning quanta that is)
