  1. In the end if was fairly simple, just remove and replace the machine... which was a huge pain since I had to remove the schematic replace the element, reset its parameters and relink everything, and there were ~20 machines stuck.
  2. So I just came back from a mining trip, unloaded the ores to be refined and started the production of a few elements, after a while I noticed half of my machines (including transfer units) were stuck to 100% and won't proceed with their task. Container aren't full so it's not a matter of space, can't be talents either couse I'm mostly dealing with T1 stuff and TU aren't involved with talents. Might be due to some king of server overload?
  3. Well, I don't remember how much +% it gives but even if it was only like 5% that means that theoretically you're saving 1 click every 20, which is a lot considering how much time we spend mining. Imho it's worth the investment. Edit: this reminded me of when we had gems on WoW: "Why should I buy that 50g gem, it only gives me 3more agi" "Because if you replace all of your gems you get +30agi, which is +x% crit +y AP which is a shit load of dps" XD
  4. Thx for the explanation, wasn't aware of those details, I don't have an agg and my knowledge is limited by what I read around/see in-game.
  5. Feel free to correct me if I'm wrong, afaik the tower is there to let you go up and down as you wish, but technicality you don't need it, you could just build a floating platform. I'm pretty sure there's a couple of them around my base on sanctuary. Btw floating platforms are better than towers imho, they are much easier to see and there's no risk on crashing in the "hair".
  6. I haven't received it either.
  7. That's the worst example you could possibly take honestly xD I challenge you to find a worse one!
  8. Could it be that he's using higher tier machines? (Plz tell me the answer is no couse I don't want to replace all my elements).
  9. Mh it seems you don't like this game at all, why are you forcing yourself to play a game you don't like?
  10. Just for the sake of curiosity, what happens when 2 ships collide with each other? Never happened to me to collide with another moving ship so genuinely I don't know.
  11. I've said that a million times already, just reduce the overall materials required to build, by doing so you are both softening the cost of pvp AND lengthening the life of every planet as we don't need to extract this much anymore.
  12. I believe you spelled "Romans" wrong there :v Btw I agree with you with the need of factions, but I believe that they simply can't just add systems as they like, tech-wise it might be a cost they can't sustain.
  13. I want to be honest, I feel exhausted. I've tried to adapt to this new system but it's too much. I've been working towards a few goals but every step involves more and more mining, first for the schematics and then for the materials, I've basically been only mining since .23 landed. Yesterday I was again mining on alioth when I realized the closest order available with a reasonable price was like on madis, I don't know wtf is wrong with NQ but they'd better hurry and fix this game before it's too late.
  14. If it wasn't there this game would have been dead 1 month into beta. Do you remember the good old analogy of the wolves and the sheeps? You need the goddamn fence to keep your sheeps from being all slaughtered and thus to avoid wolves from starving to death. Territory warfare will remove most of the safe zones, that will be enough.
  15. Can you elaborate a little bit more, how does the 0.01 orders influence bots? I genuinely though they were just another way to scam ppl who don't pay too much attention on where they click.
  16. "H" key should do the trick. You can make your own HUD if you know how to LUA (I don't) or download premade hud Wait until you get in Thades, some areas become a flat surface at night, you can't even imagine the nightmare it is to land your big ship there. You'll learn voxelmancy with time, there are quite some tutorial on YouTube from a guy named "Tordan". They plan to introduce some form of passive automated mining but no mining elements for ships. This has been asked a million times already but I don't know if they actually listened. This should be wip, some players do not like the idea of it tho. My suggestion is: focus on your ship first, until it can carry a good amount of ore (~100t, mind that I wrote tonnes, not liters), leave industry for later. Piloting elements like wings or ailerons are pretty cheap on the market atm. Industry is expensive, you don't want to "waste" your money on schematics this early, better to invest in having a solid way to transfer ores around.
  17. It needs to be balanced tho, you can't just make it work anywhere without some downsides (beside its cost ofc), or it will basically replace 90% of the piloting elements. Make it use some new fuel like agg-cells or something along those lines.
  18. It's just a guess but it believe nq won't refresh the bots for awhile, they need to test how the economy runs without them. But I'm am afraid of that, I have items sitting in the market since 0.23 landed, either there's not enough demand or ppl still prefer to build by themselves, so how are we going to raise money if nobody buys and the bots are gone?
  19. Considering how stupidly expensive is to build now I'd say ppl will just stop going to that location if it's too dangerous, or come with a solid escort, either way you're not gonna get your easy prey.
  20. I believe you are referring to the wiki page, those 640t are the max takeoff weight, I think (I'm not sure) that include the empty weight of the plane and the fuel, so the payload it can carries is way less than those 640t Btw you are forgetting the wings, ok the engines generate that power but the airplane has 900m² of wing area, how many Mwing should you stack to achieve the same result? :V Jokes aside, imho (and I've said it a million times already) the overall balance between how powerful our ship are, how much material we need/use and the total ore scattered between planets is a little bit ducked up. If they don't realise that we burn too much ores we'll soon be out of resources.
  21. Yes eventually you should be allowed to have a dedicated marker on the map. As a side note, how many times does someone crash 20/30/40+ km from the nearest market? Having the ability to set up a basic store with just scrap and fuel and make it visible for anyone would be a huge qol.
  22. Meanwhile I was thinking to myself that it would be cool to be able to built your own market, place it strategically in the most remote area, collect taxes from every transaction and passively become the richest man in the system, lol
  23. Why are you surprised? Our very society is based on the monopolies of the few rich and the slavery of all others, let them achieve that here too, ffs.
  24. Btw his math is wrong, a 116cell/day factory is something around 35mil worth of schematics, not as dramatic as he thinks.
