  2. +1 for the surveys. NQ, ask opinions on there. I'd like to see responses but thats not as important. Also most of us don't even know what we really want or what is fun in practice so that might not even work.

  7. I'm going to go out on a limb and say they just don't have the money for that, sadly. Further, I think the excuse will be "its a beta" or some such. This has probably been brought up before, maybe answered by nq already somewhere?
  8. Yep.. just making things harder with nothing added and leaves me asking "why bother" when I log in and start something. Why gather ore? Why build that ship? Why build anything? just to pay tax?
  9. Someone already mentioned new player experience but I'm giving it a try to give detailed feedback. I am not new, but am currently going through the game on an alt as a new player with 0 quanta on sanc. I have 4 autominers now on Sanctuary but my tile only has 13 bauxite (others are just over 100). I automine a total of 116 ore per hour. I received 10k T1 from calibration. I can sell that to bots for 250k or less. Schematics to build M industry, parts, and refine pures is 5m or so. I can do all tutorials and get 1.5m? That means I have access to 2m maybe. I can get to space barely but will take much more time to get a ship that's able to do missions for example. I can't buy a DSAT (18m) or schematic let alone equipment to build one in order to asteroid mine. What that leaves is a waiting weeks for autominers to produce enough ore to make quanta or surface mining for 10s of hours. Even if I work my way up to mining on Alioth, still lots of afk waiting. Besides joining an org and getting free things, that's the options here. Is that intended? is there a solution in the works? Others have said get rid of early game schematics. That would help To clarify, my issue with this is there's nothing to do early game because factory and asteroids have a huge quanta barrier.
  10. Will there be a balance of T1 ores on planets? As in providing all t1 ores on every planet like before so that people can make fuel at the very least
  11. Just like schematics which they mentioned doing away with, This was thought out for a total of 5 seconds, implemented, and they will ignore feedback until they see numbers drop
  12. I think AVA and atmo pvp in general are out; atleast until after launch. There isn't even fall damage or a health system and weapons don't have any obstruction due to land or objects which is huge. I think the plan is just bug fix, cut cost, couple new features but mostly get released and balance the budget.
  13. If someone starts post demeter and watches an old getting started guide, they will probably try to scan for ore. Need some type of warning when they open scanner on a planet or moon for example.
  14. My 2 pennies: Taxes too high for new players. Don't tailor the game to billionares. Also wasn't the point to have all of these lasting constructs? That will go away. Hexes and mining units too low yield. Again billionares will be fine but new players? If it takes weeks to get off sanc; is that fun? Some of the new obstruction (brakes for example) seems arbitrary and unclear. Brakes obstruct in a different direction than their effect arrows. Really take a minute to think about the population because the lower it gets, the harder it will be to attract more given this game has nothing without players. No NPCs no events, just players. At this rate, on release when people aren't playing for free, there will not be many
  15. 1 charge every 6h means that to remain above 50%, you can only have what, 20 mining units? you will lose money after that due to taxes vs your lowered efficiency. Unless you have alts. Looks like that might have been the plan. Even with alts.. What kindof gameplay is that? rip
  16. I'll add that some things have massive hit boxes. For example L stabalizer and AGGs. Placing these first will result in the next thing being inside of their hitbox. Maybe a hitbox fix is on the way but until then maybe clarify what counts as stacked NQ? I know the intent is to get rid of the 10 engines in one spot but with ships at stake its good to be 100% clear

  18. Ya it doesnt make sense especially considering the talent reset was within that year so it's basically a new char.
  19. I start to wonder if they even see a value appeasing the literal 30 people who communicate on here and on Discord. Myself included, most of us already paid in alpha so what does it matter if we are happy with them? I would think they would want to hear how to make the game better and more appealing to more people but sometimes I wonder.
  20. Ya they should really fix that. It even shows scrap as a possible input so something is just done wrong. There's a NQ comment on this subject somewhere
  21. Ya, thats true the calculations are super broken. In terms of taking time to repair if you smash into the planet is the fair part. Maybe they can fix the calculations but I miss SE type collisions. Maybe SB will do it nicely
