Really trying to like the game but the graphics are really blurry.
It's not that the graphics are bad, the image is bad by poorly forced graphical options.
Anti Aliasing and Chromatic Abberation are making the game look really fuzzy and blurry.
Maybe people used to the soft image by playing all games with full AA dont really mind it but for other this really looks bad and u disabled the option to turn it off.

Now i was able to improve it a bit by changing settings in Nvidia 3D panel. I turned of AA on the GPU there and also increased sharpness and i know, its completely insane to being forced to do it like that but luckily it improves the image (a bit) and boosts FPS because everyone knows AA eats FPS and thats why in ALL beta games u can turn that off except in DU...

But here it comes.. Your game freaking kicks me from the server for having AA turned off and sharpness increased in the Nvidia panel... WTH is that?

Seriously, this makes me mad. I will probably get flamed for being this direct but cmon, fix this.

Already done and working with Support right now via email.  Just sent a load of files through to them after running some network script they linked to.

In addition, I've just tried the list in another thread that resets network stack etc and all completed successfully.  Now re-downloading but where I am right now the internet is pretty dire at this time of night so it will be hours before I can run the game again.

There is no absurs, its clear line - you can mess up with players as much as you like, just leave NQ stuff out of it. Simple. Infuriating but simple.

    Hey folks,

thank you all for your input. There's nothing wrong with having a debate, but the fronts have hardened and I don't think the opposing sides will come to an agreement any time soon.

To not let it be lost in the stream I'll link the follow-up statement by @NQ-Naerais one more time for others to find and after that I'm going to lock this thread.

As I see it this settles the matter. There have been complaints in the past that the rules are not being enforced properly and I've seen many fights about rule interpretation too. I even entered those discussions on occasion and shared my personal point of view - especially regarding the advice to take a "better safe than sorry" stance - and those comments of mine have been on top of official clarifications and announcements. That we have two strongly opposing sides in this argument is not new and didn't come with the Market 15 incident. I hope that as things become clearer and more streamlined, most of you will find a way to get comfortable with the rules in place.

Let's move on, continue to enjoy the game and build Dual Universe.

    Mellow greetings

    Hey folks,

I've just been a bit trigger happy and hid the nice words about moderation being trigger happy and staff's life quality insults. Just as a reminder: if people want to report me or any other moderator and do so here on the forums, it's rather apparent they haven't read the rules or forgot about them.

Regarding the attack by @carijay766 on @Moosegun as well as the following engagement I've decided to close this thread since it's too much trouble to clean up and apart from pointless fighting I don't think there's anything of value here anyways. In case you disagree: please see above.

Ok. I do not claim complete knowledge. Therefore, I will indicate those places that you clearly assume and distort.
    1.
Do you know exactly how the database is implemented? Or do you suppose? The fact that links to the markets were lost is a fact. As in the game, when you remove an engine or machine, the link is lost.

    2.
So days or hours? 10 or 100 players?
It is about these assumptions that I speak. You base your judgments on them.
Regardless of how many people beat one person, everyone will be responsible personally.
Even if the developers did a bad job of the database, even if this is the approach of 10 years ago, it does not justify what was done.
I don’t understand at all how arrogant or stupid it is to steal from the developer market and then admit it to them. What were they hoping for?

I will explain my position. You may be interested in this (but I'm not sure about it). )))

The developers in the game act as a game master. They don't take part in the game. They make the rules. If a player applies everything that is allowed in relation to another player, this will be ignored. (except what was described in the post about bugs). In our case, there was an attempt to attack the game master. This was suppressed. Everyone should know their boundaries. And the guys suffered exactly for that.

About the user agreement. Yes, I agree that the wording is very vague. But this is a common game practice. Unfortunately, nothing belongs to us here ...)))

I rely on facts and documents from the developers. You rely on speculation and your own desires. In principle, everything is clear.
    Too many assumptions.

17 pages of demagoguery. Let's all the same turn to the primary sources. At least those that we all see and accept.
    1. The first post in this thread. Quote:

    2. EULA referenced by an NQ employee. https://www.dualuniverse.game/legal/eula#article-5
    Quote:

Many people assume that NQ has banned players for gaining access. Although it is clearly and clearly visible for what reason it happened. NQ's actions do not contradict themselves or any other promises.
If the guys who got access to the market wrote with colored voxels on the wall "John was here" then nothing would have happened or the consequences would have been minimal. I think that NQ would have left this inscription as a meme and a landmark.

However, players instead began to remove not only voxels but also market modules. Where the players had in-game property and warrants. Did these players have negative experiences as a result of this action? Yes. Were they inconvenienced? Yes. Accordingly, a clear violation of clause 5.2. user agreement.

Dispute then about what? Many facts are distorted and instead of arguments people are already beginning to get personal, trying to justify their position.

Let me remind you that NQ clearly said that everything is allowed that does not prevent other players from playing. And this does not mean PVP and other game moments. All of them. When you attack a player in PVP or attack his base, your aggression is sanctioned by the game. Your opponent is a specific target. And you make decisions about the attack. There was clearly an action (albeit out of ignorance) that prevented a large number of impersonal players and made it impossible to use their items.

A similar question has already been raised regarding the construction of unreasonably high walls to interfere with other players. And the answer was the same. If everyone deliberately creates obstacles, there will be sanctions. Proof here. NQ-Naerais created a topic in Rules & Announcements

Why then it seems to some that NQ are inconsistent in their actions.
For those who spray foam from the mouth and are unable to understand the first time, I will summarize.
GUYS NOT FUNNED FOR RDMS! Not for market access! They were banned for what they did next and did it INTENTIONALLY! Because 50+ times to select voxels and elements and put them in your pocket is not a random action!

Dude - program - game - doing unintended (by developer) stuff is a bug. Ability to enter market build mode therefore is a bug. Using said bug to disassembly the market is exploiting bug.

    Its actually very simple.
Was market intended by NQ to be editable? No.
So the fact that its possible to disassembly is a bug.
So act of disassembling the market is abuse of exploit in form of abusing bug.

Was theft of player stuff because of RDMS mistake intended? Yes. So not a bug. So no exploit.
    Also simple.

    Actually colored it.

Also please pay attention (assuming you copied it from wikipedia) to first sentence of second paragraph.

Think you need to lie down, losing a fellow exploiter, must be tough for you, dont worry, it will pass.

For what it is worth I am still loving the game, not even had to look at the ToS though, it doesnt bother the players that dont look to cheat (sorry, push the bounderies)

Just not sure what you are deeming 'clearly unacceptable' that is all, presuming you are referring the that little gobshite that got banned, personally I find that perfectly acceptable.   Think you are confusing personal opinions, with matters of fact.  All good though, I am presuming English is not your first language.

Hey man -> here is the thing - you still ship from other players? No problem. Gms teleport this ship back during heist? Okey, lets steal another. Still no problem. Than lets steal whole bases. Using rdms? No info about bans? No problem. Actually allowing it in rules? No problem. So lets steal base using exploits. Still no problem? Nope, noone was officially ban. Whats next? Well, we can clearly see. Market. Oh, and here finally is a line. <facepalm> Sorry man, but this is straight forward consequence of current NQ politic on exploits and bugs.

And now this, permabanning for rdms mistake by people who did the system in the first place. Sorry man, but after that great string of no real consequences - at least perceivable consequences - for not reporting and than abusing mechanics and exploits?  I'm too salty to see it as anything but straight forward "lets check the limit" yet again - which was encourage by that politics - and now overreaction on the NQ side.
On side note - i'm as certain as possible without making such report myself that if they would comb they communication channels they would find reports of it going back few days.

Ps. I doubt it will take more than 16 manhours to sort it out all. I'm so salty that the only difference between that and lose of all the players, that i can see is that NQ actually need to pay for those hours - oh my.... While players rebuilding their ships, bases, etc.? Who cares about their time, its beta after all.
