Hey st Joseph got blocked by clouds. Being denied is nothing new here They still shot off fireworks and the scientists recorded what data they could.

Sorry the file size limits on the du website really blocked me from giving a full idea.

I tried to get out my fathers old 35 mm camera that has a good lens on it, but I failed to check it out in significant enough time, it appears a spring broke in the winding mechanism and locked the frame/reel slider up so ill have to get that fixed someday. So just the crummy camera on my phone. Anyways, this was my eclipse experience it was still interesting and the temperature drop was fun.

I felt like the end of it would have been more moderate, maybe it was just the cloud cover, but the end came very quick, at least much faster than the shadowy start of it

Yeah that's true, starts slow but ends too quickly.

It was creepy here when I watched the full one years ago, owls going crazy and stuff. Spectacular

I also had clouds. It was so fucking cloudy that I could barely tell the difference between the TOTALITY and when it's fucking NORMAL.

As you can see, I'm quite distressed.

Here where I was, I only got a picture with my phone but the cloud cover actually allowed pictures. Having the lens focus on nearby clouds was what allowed the eclipse to be seen, for a lot of people.

(Tried to upload but its too large... Wasn't anything special anyway)

In Colorado where I live we had a 92% Cover without clouds. It got a little darker and cooled down about 10-15 degrees.

Bahaha, was surfing during the eclipse.  Dolphins were going crazy... swimming in circles, flicking their tails etc.  Felt like I was surfing at night... luckily it wasn't a huge day.

I imagine humans freaked out and wrote novels about the end of the world before we discovered what was truly going on ^^

Bunch of people on the beach looking up with their cameras.  My philosophy was to just enjoy it, and enjoy it I did ^^

Coworker and I drove 2.5 hours to get the full totality experience, but it took us over 6 hours to drive back because of the traffic and multiple wrecks.

Here in Portugal we never get to see a full eclipse. It's always just a little bit of shadow in the sun :(

I went to Grand Island, NE which was forecast to be mostly cloudy during the total, but the weather puled through and it was clear where the sun was.
