    I believe the devs talked about some sort of in game advertising system but i cant remember where, even if you cant upload images or make animated boards, the voxels will still allow you to make words atleast or voxel art.

    i hope theres some intense weather effects, imagine cruising on a desert planet to have a battlefield 1 like sandstorm hit you. or really heavy fog/rain to make Forrest extra spooky. Solar flairs are cool aswell i guess

    You are right, markets will be localized with items of trade been "physically" stored in containers, at least from what i understand. So there wont be a "email" system in game where you can send goods across the galaxy in an instant, But there hasn't been any word on building your market in the starting safe zone as of yet.

    Don't see why not, almost every voxel based survival game I've played has some sort of underground/mountain based cave system. I do hope they are a thing as people standard for a night on a planet could make a ghetto home in one.

    as cool as this is, i don't see it happening for optimization reasons. Not to mention it could be heavily abused and used to troll players, also implementing something like this that works properly would hog a lot of DEV time and resources that could be devoted elsewhere. Good idea though, reminds me of the jump pads from planetside 2.

    It could be possible with LUA if ship mounted drills or the such are added like in space engineers, how automated would depend on the skill of the coder.

    I'm almost certain they will have an in game messaging system. Be it a simple group announcement board or "pm" email system for individuals, Star trek Online did a decent job with this sort of thing.
