  1. There's nothing wrong with it, some people just like to back projects they envision as being good. As said above, the communities are generally the same, or share similar characteristics at this stage in the development of a game. Once there is something to play, it will be a different story. That being said! The forums are actually gaining around 33 members on average per day (as of last month), so It won't be an overly long time before the numbers bump up drastically. It's just a matter of time and development cycle.

The weekends have always seemed slow, which seems odd. But, that's what you get! Most organizations have gained over the past day! Anyway, charts below!

  5. The same reason for which I make them! I just enjoy looking at the data sorted. Excuse any discrepancies though, I removed old orgs and it seems to have borked the numbers without a solution.   6. You are right and this is indeed a needed intertwining thing. The forums currently have no way to cross over to the community site without having to click on a sig, open a new tab and type it in or just have it off favourited somewhere. Maybe they could throw a second 'dual universe' link up the top in the header that leads there.

    All of the above are possible, larger alliances/groups of organizations, wars being waged over 'x' or 'y' or the political route of diplomacy and peace. It's all up to how seperate groups govern themselves, or eachother.
  9. 14th of October, 2016. Growth has shifted up a notch once again, today. With several groups gaining members! There really isn't much to say, so, here are the charts!
  10. I agree that 48HRs is too long - 24 is nice, but maybe 48 can leave enough leeway that everyone can get setup, etc. I don't know, that just seems really long. As for attacking in a lateral system, it makes no sense as stated above, we have ships that we are going to be able to use, if your group wants to risk taking a territory and getting cut off and having to defend it, by all means, go ahead. But, it turns it into a more strategic gameplay element because you have to thing about where to hit and you are open to hit it. Anyway, that's just the way I see it.
  11. Unfortunately, beyond blocking the member from messaging you, I don't think there is a way, no. I'm not a real fan of the blocking method either, but you got to do, what you got to do!
  12. 13th of October, 2016. Todays charts show a drop in the gains that have been happening early during this past week, infact, some organizations have lost members. Only four members gained overall with two members dropping (possibly shuffling within the ten), with that being said it was due to quieten down a little as now we wait! Anyway, as per usual, charts below!

  16. I would hope and assume that there would be a single smaller testing server for these purposes. But this could become expensive, so they may just release things after going through internal QA services and then patch later on after the bugs have been reported by the masses. This option works, but is less efficient. You have to remember though that regardless things are going to slip through onto the live server either way. But as Falstaf said above, we have no idea at this point in time.
  17. 12th of October, 2016. Well, the numbers are still growing after the success of the kickstarter. The top ten has regaining its vitality and is growing consistently over days now. Hopefully the moment stays the same, in an upwards fashion! I have some extra stats for you today! Forum Stats: August [incomplete sample]: Average daily member sign up: 19 Average daily posts: 157 September [Complete sample]: Average daily member sign up: 31 Average daily posts: 250 So, since the kickstarter, we've had more posts and more signups popping up! Even though the sample was unfinished for August, the growth wasn't all that great that month. Anyway, charts below! Fixed: - A colouring issue - Top ten orgs that were dropped are now being known as 'ex-top ten' in the daily contribution graph (still to fix the numbers).

  19. It's interesting that they went this way, but is very logical. The initial stretch goal was 600,000, where as from there, character customization was 650,000. Now, as for that being included, hot damn I'm going to spend way too much time customizing my character. Hopefully CvC goes through a full cycle of testing still before they decide to implement it (it more than likely will, just voicing my hopes), but atleast we know that this is a planned thing down the line. But with the addition of a post-kickstarter system, maybe they will reach their goals!
  20. I guess you'll just have to build a factory big enough to find out whether its all by hand or you are able manufacture it by automation. But then again, they may deem that knowledge something we need to know and they may bestow it on us. However, assuming you can automate large ship production, imagine the size of the facilities you would need to have.
