  1. i would like to see less element, as it is now it's just a mess if you look at something like atmo engines with 13 type with each size group.

It would be better with, say 3 engines with a slight performance/efficiency increase over the previous model and then 1 or 2 specialty model like military version that would be tougher against damage and a speed version.

All the new advanced/rare/exotic stuff looks exactly the same as the regular stuff (no even color changes). Some have their stats "accidentally" copy/pasted from the wrong model (Tier 3+ Laser Ls have damage numbers of Laser Ms)...

There are some many missing details and small errors all over the place :( It is like the company motto is "meeeh good enough" which would explain a good deal of the issues

@NQ Brilliance is in the small details

  3. Maybe they where surprised, like so many other companies on how fast or to what level users can take things.

EvE: there will only be 1 or 2 titans...

Hosting providers: you can have unlimited space ...

Retail: as much as you can carry...

  4. i did not sign up to play EvE but to claim EvE is dying seems false https://mmo-population.com/r/eve

I mean with almost 500K daily logins and 8 million subscribers, which has to be an all time count and not active subscriptions. the game looks to be doing well

What i wanted was an open skills/market/sandbox game where everyone could do what ever they want with out rules in the sandbox. Where the (start-middle-end) game and play style is what ever you want, and not dictated by some arbitrary class system or prefixed systems.

    p.s.

no rules does not mean you can exploiting, cheating or be a complete ars

  5. You can blame NQ for a lot of things, but being a social platform is not one of them, that is just not their primary goal.

Perhaps you should head over to the DU discord (or some other social network), hell there might even be a discord with voice chat.. teams/zoom ?

as for the pandemic that well last until Q3 2021 perhaps even Q4. But don't worry you can do it, you do not disappear or evaporate just because you do not see other people,  you silly extrovert :)

There is no such thing as a PVE zone, it's called a safe zone and while I would be the first to agree that NQ pretty much solidifying the Alioth/Madis/Thades triangle as one huge safezone was not a good idea

What is wrong with giving players that have no interests in pvp a zone they can toy around in?

Said zone being only 3 planets out of 12, the remaining 9 planets and perhaps other solar systems can be free for all, seems like a trade in pvp's favor

While it looks like @Massacher still wants the money, it seems the point he is making is the extremely obtuse response and run-around he received as well. I think they could have at least explained the why. If it's because of a contractual obligation then say so. Maybe quote the section of contract as a response. I can agree that the way they handled it could have been better.

But my bet is the money is non-refundable.

We only have 1 side of the story

    Hello,

Sorry to hear about your issues. Unfortunately, this purchase is not eligible for a refund on our side. The game support will review your request and inform you of their decision. Please note that it can take them several business days to review your request.
    Thank you for your patience.

They even told him he was not eligible for a refund but would review the request anyway

(this one can good both ways, either a fast review = good, or you join the eternal circle of forwarded tickets)

  8. no they do not respawn. smoother can make 1 appear  if you are lucky.

I did report it some time ago, suggested solution after looking at my tests to restore the tile was an account wipe. at which point i decided i could live with it :)

So i moved my base up in the sky and just came back down today to see how it looked after weeks of not touching the ground

  9. I was wondering if anyone had a tile as devoid of surface or as mine ?

There  are a few nodes here and there, mostly Quartz, And there is 1 spot around the size of an XS core, that if left alone for weeks will look almost normal :)

My base is close to District 6, and I am definitively noticing less traffic.

Some one dropped an unflushable at District 6. The entire area is being evacuated in preparations for a massive gamma burst to clear the pipes.

But do not worried it is only dangerous if you look at the explosion, do not look.

Then youre just complaining, because it's not hard to repair small ships, and takes hardly any scrap.  No one is forcing anyone, I'm merely stating if you want to fly bigger/faster/heavier ships you need to be prepared for what that entails, and it wont/shouldn't be easy for super new people. And I'll say again, if you are having problems repairing an xs core that's a you problem not a game problem.

thank you for your opinion we all have one, i look into your input, smell you later

Perhaps you arent meant to fly huge ships as a solo guy, especially so early in joining the game. Repairing xs and s cores are pretty easy.  If you wanna manage the risk of flying bigger constructs, hauling literally thousands of tons of cargo, then you have to accept the consequences that come with that.

You assume i flyve M and L core, hmm assumptions makes...

please spend more time answering the OP then judging what other players like to do.

1 of the key forces of DU is that it is a sandbox. anything goes. the death of the sandbox is when someone starts to make rules and guide lines

  13. Sounds like one have to mine even more now, sure it might work for larger org with more combined time. but for the little guy not so much.

They also reference "the real world" a few times, well that place sucks for fun and games. Should we also add food and sleep requirements?

mindlessly reparing and mining is already a drain, hell most of my ships a smoking because i do not have the resources or time to put in the effort of reparing them.

Perhaps improve the repair gameplay first. for me i put something heavy on my mouse and go away, making the player leave is the first step in losing a player.

  14. On my sanctuary tile there is nothing, well if i am lucky there is 1 or 2 quatz.

I tried bunch of ways to get a better respawn but nothing works, for lack of a better terms my tile is essentially dead and devoid of surface ore.

I made a ticket for it over a month ago that they have not responded to, yesterday i made a ticket asking if they could at least acknowledge the first ticket and tell me if i my tile is just dead.

I would advice anyone that would like surface ore to fare away from mountains and find the flattest piece of land they can

And NEVER put buildings on the group or terraform, buildings seems to create a dead zone  (i dont travel that much around could be wrong)
