    'Sup. Canberra, Australia here. There are a few of us about. I'll be starting an (in-game - so we welcome players from anywhere to cater for those role playing Aussies/Kiwi types) themed A/NZ org straight after the writing comp - related to my entry so "it's a suprise". It will be a "cultural" org (which means you can also be in other orgs, has no real "leadership" per se,) and will represent a particular sub-group of us. So yeah - would certainly love to see other "flavors" of us! (Or people interested in sharing / developing the sub-culture I'm introducing - DM if interested, or wait till after the comp ) And I'm, again, as per other posts/DM's etc, very interested in speaking with any and all Aussie / New Zealand players about how we as a group might see the history of our lands unfold in DU's history.

    Welcome Yes - plenty of time to pick an Organisation. Prospecting is the right word (for exploring and locating minerals). So you are a Möbeltischler? (Actually I bet there is an exact translation for your trade in English - we have all specialisations and certifications (certainly in Australia), same as Germany).

    Can we call it "poetic or historical license"? (Notwithstanding that we all went waaaay further than a couple of light years...) - we can simply say that the Lore is our understanding of "the time before". There is no one left on Earth etc who can correct what we on Alioth have as "history", and we know the AI too is limited in terms of what happened. Our Lore may just be what scientists postulated would happen. Or maybe it's a nicely sanitized version so we don't have to think about how horribly existence was wiped out. /shrug

    I for one am more than happy to help members with XXX to English translation/transliteration. Caveat A: I intend to enter the competition, unless there is overwhelming demand for this service, in which case I'll take one for the team. Caveat B: I will not promise more than "as and when I am able". That said, I'm confident that won't be an issue unless there are a lot of people who need help. Caveat C: I will not work with PDF files - HTML or TEXT please. Note that I use automated tools for the most part - quality is generally equal to translation quality expected in International Standards or International Relations documents. DM me as needed, or send things to me on Discord.

    ???? Necessary I think the key word is there (in terms of volume). Made me think tho - stationary point sec could also include pure Customs work - anti-smuggler stuff, either ground OR low orbit (for the non ground pounders). Potentially a niche unfilled compared to anti-piracy orgs.

    a) Yeah - MOS branches would be cool. Also - it suggests a member size you won't necessarily start with. Think about workable starting structures which can grow into this. c) If it a naval structure and Captain is OF5 (Nato) as opposed to the title of a ship's CO, think about XO, CAG and other roles where on large ships you can have 2 or more Captains. It may be easier to have Commanders as CO's, and make Captain a Flag Captain of a taskforce size group, with multiple groups under your R.Adm O2. Just thoughts. Looks good btw
