  1. clarification for mass reduction buff
  2. you can also just fly at half throttle? Bonus: If you use half military and half maneuver engines of same size, at half throttle it will prioritize the maneuver engines (generally the engines with the least power) meaning you use far less than half fuel at half throttle. No Lua needed.
  3. they are only useful to repair voxel damage. Any elements they try to replace, even if only 1 hp is missing. This is a pvp item, pointless in pve.
  4. plenty of industry talent issues fixed now, just annoying you cant apply them for the whole factory via rightclick.
  5. Either make the repair unit use scrap or have deco elements behave like voxels regaring damage. Ignore pve damage but take pvp damage. If the devs want us to decorate our ships with deco elements, just like they want to encourage us to use the (in pve pointless) voxels, make them easier to use.
  6. Just like we currently have 2 items required, the fuel tank and the engine, add a third item of signinficant mass and size (but not placement restriction/obstruction). That new items increases engine thrust by a large amount and could have other modifiers (like there are currently different engines). That way you are shifting the currently limiting factor, space in the back of the craft, to just generally lift and size. Now a craft that used to have 40 engines in the back only needs 15, but it also needs an engine room with the new items inside (anywhere on the craft), which are as big as a few XL containers. Less engines on the outside, but still no ability to "just spam" the now stronger engine in a wall on the back, as this would require more of the new item. It also means no hard limit. In addition of course, finally give us L wings etc.
  7. What I read there is "I have no idea about it, but others do it and I guess it is easy, please make it harder"
  8. It already takes a lot more. Claiming it is easy to maintain a factory is just as wrong as the list of claims I made in my post above.
  9. I didnt exactly reinvent the wheel there, I know. Just wanted to throw it out because the other ideas are, at least tendency wise, more towards either some rather hard punishment, or something with a lot of dev time (make in impound, sell repo licenses...)
  10. As this topic pops up weekly by a new player, can we just make it sticky? And also my usual copy pasta for a solution that does not contain the words "bomb them all": No punishment.Turn crafts into a magic blueprint after a while*, which is stored in the market container and usable within 500m of the market container, similar to placing something via linked container. All the tech to do this is already there. As it is stored in the closest market, it would be easy to find. Cant find your ship? Check market containers via "J", which can be done from remote already.Want to abuse the system? Sure, wait for your ship to despawn so you can spawn it again 500 meters further west. There is no way to abuse this if you are unable to take the bp with you.Somebody "innocent" is hit? No harm done, just spawn the ship again. This would be a super easy pill to swallow, because nobody is punished, it would just get rid of all the permanent stuff at the markets.*: So what is "after a while"? Best thing to make the game look alive, but not trashed would be the following rule: If there are more than X crafts within the tile, the oldest ship is despawned, unless it was parked for less than Y minutes. So at market 6 there would only be X crafts at the same time, unless a lot of people arrived just now, it also means you would see different ships everytime you arrive (which is the difference between looking alive and looking deserted). Alioth moon markets would pretty much never despawn anything, or any of the outer planets. At some point in the future you can of course add stuff like public advertisement space, an item that stops your craft from despawning which can only be used in a certain zone at the side (and in limited numbers at a time) etc. So any stuff that allows people to have semi-permanent presence at the market, you can add that later. For now we need something to get rid of stuff, not something to allow more.
  11. I wonder if the people who say maintaining a factory is too easy actually maintain a factory. -It is so easy to get rich with building ships. You place a few elements, copy paste some voxels and place blueprints for 25k in a dispenser selling them for 5M. -It is so easy to get rich with coding LUA. You just write some lines, make them do something, put it on a ship. Rest as above. -It is so easy getting rich hauling. Warp to where it is cheap, buy, warp to where it is expensive, sell. Rich -It is so easy getting rich with pvp. Go to pvp zone, look for pve players. Shoot them, take their stuff. Rich. -It is so easy getting rich piling dirt into the shape of Denny DeVito’s face. Pile dirt into the shape of Denny DeVito’s face, set up dispenser for donations. Rich.
  12. And whenever you get a response, it is one of these five. Maybe time to start a bingo. We can not just snap a finger and the bug is fixed (within 8 months). It does not make sense to fix a system that has an overhaul upcoming (for the last 8 months) We cannot comment on it or the community will expect that feature and be angry when we don’t implement it (even if the community just asks how something is currently intended) We read everything on the forums, but it would take too long to respond. Trust us, we hear you(we just don’t act like we do). We already have a plan (but dont tell you because reasons and just implement it first and check your response later). It seems the CM have very very strict guidelines regarding what they are allowed to say, stricter than I have seen for other games.
  13. How to read: Ore prices are somewhat current alioth prices. Numbers under "untalented" are prices it costs to make 1 of the item. So without talents it costs 67 quanta to make a single screw with the ore prices assumed at the start. Numbers under "talented" are prices with maxed out skills for refining, smelting and intermediary parts. A screw now costs only 25 quanta. As of writing this, the cheapest Adjustor L on the market (mine) cost 14999. About 97% of that I get (2% storage fee, 1% value fee).
  14. hope this is better now. Also added industry talents not being applied with rightclick functionality
  15. Did you use the arrow keys, type in 0, or just delete the selection? Arrow keys are bugged for sure, I heard multiple people complain about entering 0 but was unable to repro. I have about 100 dispensers set up for which I just deleted the number and confirmed, so far no isses.
  16. I did, was told you look into it. That more than a month ago. The constructs are still there after your clean up. Ticket number #47109
  17. Why do they tell us that constructs breaking the rules are being deleted, but do not delete constructs breaking the rules?
  18. Just went through it to check validity of the bugs, fixed a few typos, formating, added rate of fire back. I think "learn a talent for days to check if you are now worse and unable to undo it" is an even better game. Testing talents is a huge pain in the ass in this game, unless you have taken them already anyway.

  20. Market 6 and 7 are the only places (except for Gott mart) were you can somewhat reliably get every item. So people go there to buy. And if the buyers go there, the sellers sell there. What you would need is to connect the 10 district markets.
  21. Oh well, here is my copy paste from last time then: No punishment. Turn crafts into a magic blueprint after a while*, which is stored in the market container and usable within 500m of the market container, similar to placing something via linked container. 22. You can stop coming up with good idea. Either NQ does still read topics after they commented, in which case they already read the excellenct ideas in the other topics, or they don’t.
  23. Prices for ships depend on prices for elements, prices for elements depend on prices for ore. Would it really be bad if you had to mine 100kl hema to get only 1.5M quanta, which is enough for only 10 t2 atmo engines L for 150k each instead of, like now mine 100kl hema to get a whooping 2.4M quanta which is enough to buy a whole tenpack of t2 atmo engines L for 240k quanta each? Lower prices for everything is even better for new players and casuals, as their daily bonus actually has some buy power.
