Greetings Noveans!

 

September 27th, 2024 will mark the second anniversary of Dual Universe! Just think of all that has been accomplished during that time - the flying, crashing, pvping and of course voxel-ing and building! 

 

Get your party helmets on and save room for some cake because we’re going to celebrate with our DU Turns Two Tour! Just to make things confusing, there will be three DU Turns Two Tours - Friday the 27th there will be two tours and Saturday one more.  

 

We will tour the Dual UNIVERSE and visit amazing places that Noveans have built and created. For new Noveans who have not joined us on a previous tour, think of this as a luxury hop on/off touring ship. Just sit back and celebrate with us and admire the sites/sights that appear before you.

 

DU TURNS TWO TOUR TIMES

 

Friday, September 27th @ 14:00 UTC (10:00 AM New York/Toronto time)
Friday, September 27th @ 21:30 UTC (5:30 PM New York/Toronto time)
Saturday, September 28th @ 18:00 UTC (2:00 PM New York/Toronto time)

 

Start/End Point: On Alioth at the Institutes. (You can find it on the Places of Interest on the map) and VR will be available, watch chat before the tours start to find out the VR name to join. These tours can be quite lengthy, but expect them to last approximately 3 hours from start to finish. Sometimes longer, sometimes shorter.

 

Where will we go? That’s always a surprise! Each tour will be different and have its own territories to visit. The sky's the limit!

 

Do you have a favorite place you would like to see showcased on the DU TURNS TWO TOUR? It could be for ships, voxel magic or just a crazy luminescent cat tower - and don't forget it's okay to suggest your own territory too. Please either respond with the name & location (::pos) on this thread, or contact NQ-Nyota on Discord or here on the Forum with the location - the ::pos along with the name is very helpful - thank you. We will do our best to visit as many places as we can!

 

Bonus: Every place we visit will receive a special gift that can be displayed.

 

Tour Safety

 

We’ll do our best to make sure these journeys are safe and secure, but we cannot be responsible for any lost items. Please arrive with empty inventories/nanopacks and make sure to leave your valuables in your containers before hopping on (and off) our tours. There will be a resurrection node available and we highly recommend activating it - just in case we run into any trouble. We’ll keep watch for those pesky towers, but you just never know and we've had some interesting landings

A four large core hangar made mostly of gold with several ships inside, old and new.  Some are on top of the hangar, and some parked around the landing strip.  There are elevators up a column of spheres where people can jump from 2500 meters, and a Honeycomb Library.

About 7km north of Market 6, there is a small collection of pagoda style buildings and a shadow.
