One way to fix is that Novaquark would continuously shift the stats, so that 1 really high quality iron is now just regular iron and vice versa.

I think each individual weapon type should give take away voxels differently. Plasma would simply delete voxels, ballistic ones would move the voxels (such as if you shoot a piece of glass, the glass pops out towards the direction the bullet is heading) and add more weight (like a single small bullet voxels) and nuclear would radiate, and magnetic would simply just drag the ship's voxels towards the magnetic voxels, and those voxels get magnetized as well and so on.

Your faction could limit/eliminate people "sniping" you. So, in essence, your "private" server!

One way to reduce tax on servers and still have gravity is where only planets draw gravity, and the object has to be above a certain weight. It simply pushes you constantly towards the center of the planet, so the server doesn't have to calculate which end of your ship is heavier. If something has enough power (lets say 5 times the minimum thrust to fly the server makes it so it will not be affected by gravity.

I think contracts should just be a reminded at most. Like, "Oh hey. You agreed to this. You SHOULD do this." Not a, "Do this or Ban lul"

I got an idea. What if a person attempts to colonize a planet, but for some reason deletes his account. If nobody else visited the planet, it becomes a "Failed" world, where his creations are copied and pasted throughout the planet, with slights randomly generated lore, and stuff misplaced. Simple things make a game great. -
Ah. So, there's little chance as a playable one but a slim chance of them being in the lore?

DU should have planets spread out so we'd have to actually send colony ships in hope of finding a suitable planet, which makes funding the ships a long term investment. (If this is confusing you, tell me how I can improve future posts.)

That sort of brings out the entire point of a contagion. Also, you could easily cleanse a ship by opening all of its airlocks in infected rooms. Planets... we are talking building a huge wall.

The difference between an actual bomb and a virus is that: You actually have to come in contact with the virus for it to hurt you. A bomb could target a building and you could still suffer.

Very good point, but they could be low-poly. Also, 2 factions would probably use 1-10 different guns. -

This just sprouted a whole new idea: What if we could make our own weapons from voxels? Of course they'd be very simple (like, simple bullet physics test, special ammo types, to determine stats). -
The only problem that people would just shrug and move their loot. Unless they RP and cause mass panic (if there was a flood-like plague, THERE WILL BE PANIC REGARDLESS, but hey, they might add it.) Maybe an insanity meter, the more gunshots fired close to you, the higher it raises. It reduces accuracy, and damage (because, logic not), but increases speed (adrenaline!).
