    I honestly believe DU will be like EVE in terms of money. If you die you keep the money, BUT I also believe DU is planning on implementing (ingame) physical currency and credit card type mechanics that you can steal.

    So excited for this game. Only way i can describe the feels is like...if you're super adhd and drank around 9 monsters, then got injected with adrenaline. (Might be a little extreme metaphor XD)

    if a group builds away from the safe zone though, that base would have to be secure, therefore making their storage in that base already a secure storage facility

    i mean, whats safer than a giant box building in the safe zone? This alternative method provides the following: - Box doesn't care about who you are, Box offers a safe depot. You make it once, you never pay again for unlimited uses. - Box is inanimate,so it doesn't know, or care whats inside. - Box is in the safest place in the game. - Box can't offer vulnerabilities of spying on what you have, Box is a box. - Box can't out of nowhere make itself independent and steal your stuff, Box is a box owned by YOU! - Box doesn't need fancy guns to protect its shell, Box has the developers protect it as long as Box is in safezone. - Box is smart, be like box.

    Welcome to the game, if you think star citizen is "serious" you should see all the politics taking place about a game not even out yet on this forum and discord, its chaos

    I always give respe t to old players like that. Just shows wbat a diverse community games are. Like even in the fairly "new" SWTOR theres some old 60 year olds in my guild that know more about the game and lore and mechanics than even the original "founders". Im expecting but hoping against hope that this doesnt happen to the original EverQuest.

    i mean, if all you hope to do in orgs is make yourself #1 macho then yeah youre gonna want compensation, but some are there just to be there, like Alpha Academy

    for starters, if they are in your org, it would be smart to have loyal people who dont require compensation XD. and if they do, well, we can't make that decision as of now because we don't know what type of economy it will be.
