We're half a year past launch and still no word on whether or not air brake obstruction is coming. Please, NQ, give us some information so that we know how to build our constructs. And if it isn't coming, please remove the arrows from the elements so as not to mislead players into thinking they have any meaning.
Thank you.

Have you tried running the actions directly from the PB, without involving the screen? Does that work? I've not used the indy-side of Lua yet so I can't speak on its correctness, but it looks like it should work.
Also, check out #lua in official discord: https://discord.gg/dualuniverse as well as the #lua-help on the DU Open Source Initiative Discord https://discord.com/channels/760240626942869546/760240768924778547

Put in a support ticket with info to where you want it moved. We had ours moved in beta, maybe they still do such things.

Just to make sure it's not misunderstood. When I talk about content creation, I'm talking about User Generated Content. As @Wyndle says, it's more about systems/tools that allow you to create services, cities, events ...etc. But of course we also work on gameplay
Services? Oh, should we read that as Dispenser APIs are coming? And reversed dispensers? ❤️

I could see a detached camera being very helpful when digging deep underground (assuming can clip) to act as a periscope above ground.
Content creation could also be game within the game tools so we can make death traps, puzzles, and hopefully some coop/compete tools that make building much more than a tour stop.
You're right, very good point!

If the first feedback is when they show it off on the PTS server, it is too late.
If NQ really cared about player feedback, they'd share ideas and designs at a much earlier stage before the first line of code is written for a new feature.
-
It needs to be asked - have you shared the construct with anyone else via the RMB-menus, or via a manually created RDMS policy? It could just be regular theft by someone with access.
-
I support this idea.

Yes, we definitely need a visual separation between element lives and regular dynamic properties as well as the proposed inventory stacking based on lives left.

Just double the size so we're not frigging around trying to stand precisely on top of the things... and with better range. I'm so sick of 'elevator not in range' on L cores.
Yes, several sizes and designs would be awesome, but size of the element shouldn't be a factor in how far it can take you imho, it should be purely a cosmetic thing.

XL elevators (that can cross a whole L core)
Haha, oh god. Elevators the size of DSATs. Hillarious.

I think what @NQ-Deckard wrote was positive news, so thank you for that. Please keep posting such tidbits of information so we know things are being addressed.

The missions are still randomised, but taking away the other planets means they are essentially randomised so each character has one of safezone->jago, jago->safezone, safezone->teoma and teoma->safezone. So if you do a loop from safe to one other and back 50% of your characters can run one of the biggest missions. If you do two loops at once they all can.
There aren't beta accounts any more but NQ helpfully provided DAC so you can keep running missions, buying DAC from other players, signing up more characters and repeating. I think the biggest mission runners are into double-digits now, I've certainly seen some screenshots of pre-nerf style giant ships with a double-digit number of XL engines on them.Well, wow. gg I guess.

Mission running. NQ Broke it again, now people are making hundreds of millions of quanta per day again and it will trash the economy.
But at least we won't run out of quanta.
Wait, what? Did the RNG of missions brake or what?

Where do I see the container/tank buffs?
Inspect the item. For example, it says "100L(+80)" at lvl 4 atmo/space fuel tank handling.

They added the info to containers/tanks...only NQ knows why they didn't add it to all elements.
Having it accessible in a single menu would be better though.

Currently, in typical NQ fashion we have to mouse over, wait for the material or element name to pop up to see what it is exactly,

So PvP hit chance is based on cross-section which directly implies a "visual" on a scope but you can ignore other real, interactable objects entirely even when the object is many dozens of times larger and blocks LoS several times over? Why do we even have PvP anymore? Is there any fun value in it (beyond being the cog in the economy that removes elements and ships from the world when they cross an imaginary line)?
I don't know, I don't engage in that part of the game and won't until something changes to make it fun.

Indeed. Elements with lost lives should also still be allowed to use when spawning a ship; they have the new deploy-UI; expand on that and let us choose if we want to use only fresh elements or a mix.

By the way, the way the announcement was brought "Future of Dual Universe" I expected abit more then only a reference to an Old letter, gifts we knew were coming anyway and some repairs and features we knew were coming.
So any News on the future of DU but then without stuff already known or shared previously?
Same. I was really disappointed in the the "announcement". And I felt sorry for Shamsie for being thrown under the buss by NQ like this. He did his best with what he was given, but as that was next to nothing, it was all just "meh".
NQ really has to step up their game and show that they are committed and willing to improve DU or players will just give up. I play this game every day, but I have to be honest and say that it is disheartening to see how bad NQ is at managing player expectations and generally how little they interact with the community. We all get it, they can't share detailed roadmaps with dates, but they can share the general direction and they *need to*, otherwise the only conclusion that can be drawn is that they have no direction or goals.
Airbrake obstruction - is it coming or not?

I agree - but I'd like an official statement from NQ so that we *know* and and end the guessing.
