    Could you read this topic? It just has some things that might sprout new ideas. In it, it states: Also, NQ wants ores to be mined by hand and not by machinery. While you might be able to dig the "dirt 'n ore" cocktail and then refine, NQ is very adamant on handheld mining to prevent a multitude of problems, including: World Eaters Server Lag People being eaten by machinery The Robot Uprising

    I don't know how I feel about this. He'll be a husk of his former self, a corporate slave more or less. Can't say anything fun (as in controversial or harmless poking). Then again, he probably wants a job with NQ.

    I think using a modular system (Left Arm - Right Arm - Upper Body - Lower Body, etc.) would be more performance friendly and more importantly: possible.

    Wouldn't specialization happen normally within societies? Having a lore reason wouldn't make sense unless there is a different meaning in the sense of Easter Eggs.

    That's for buildings. A giant sphere Destiny-style isn't really the best idea. (Look at the Deathstar ) And triangles are more for bridges. The efficient designs are designs that are specialized for a specific attribute. A sphere is one of the best basic shapes for drag and such, but with streamlined (teardrop) bodies (almost) every basic shape becomes obsolete. Of course then you have "ease of building" and such, so basic shaped ships would probably come on top.

    If I want to use a giant turret on my solo-ship, I want to use a giant turret on my solo-ship. I get it that people don't want one person piloting a "ultra mega destroyer", but forcefully locking stuff behind "need moar people" is the exact opposite of emergent gameplay.

    Welcome to ?️ual ?️niverse! Ever wondered what would happen if somebody were to mix: Minecraft Eve Online Sugar. Spice. And everything nice. These were the ingredients chosen to make the perfect video game. But Lord JC accidentally added an EXTRA INGREDIENT to the concoction.... EMERGENT GAMEPLAY (which people are trying to remove). Thus, DUAL UNIVERSE was made!

    It's not a building system as much as it's an actual design error.

    Worst case scenario, people go to Subnautica for their underwater fist fights.

    I doubt every gun at post-launch would be targeted, and I also doubt every gun at post-launch would not deal direct voxel damage. Also, if you have an AoE dumbfire weapon targeted at the system's main elements because somebody thought the DP-28 "Dinnerplate" magazine was a good idea for a ship...

    Ocean planets + this + sports = fun. A giant mesh slightly larger than the surface would encompass the planet, acting as the ocean. No way to remove the ocean, its just there. If you're in the ocean, you of course get ocean-esque buff/debuffs like "Anakin's Sand" and "why is my ship sinking." Then we get watercraft, and then we put guns on them. There are few things I want in this game, but this is definitely on the list.
