  1. Wrong place to ask that question but the answer is: no.
  2. Arm your civilian building or shield it. I want to build a space city and there i cannot even use Territory units so i just need to arm it or have it fly at max speed 24/7. that is the implication of having a game with PvE and PvP elements combined. Just aslong as there are no killboards or level points per kills the actual amount of PvP will be related to actual need on the side of the PvP player, if any classification or XP is added we can expect useless PvP destruction as the risk then is much smaller as the gain, or maybe even the need for xp/classification. This will all depend on the PvP system that we will get.
  3. looking at your posted pictures i do see the mentioning in the 180 pack but not in the 120 pack, maybe write a notification to @NQ-Diesel that there is something missing there. It would be good to add it there too.
  4. Nice idea Serula, I would say, give creaters a possibility to be creative, if a minefield is what they come up with why not I wanted to type more but thats NDA but there are already ways you can do that now.

It is not only roads, anyone planning to build a space elevator or something alike will need to be able to build outside a box, or the Dyson sphere people, they will also need to do that. there are alot of possibilities totally not related to roads that would become possible with this. I believe the creativity of everyone would be stimulated by being able to do this, adding the safety of doing this while under protection of a territorial Unit would even bring more people in as that would semi-guarantee safety for your space elevator upto space as long as nobody takes down the TU.

When outside a STU/TU that would indeed be the risk But its a nice feature to have, if you want to build in an unsafe zone face the consequences or we will see half torn bridges, i would like to see that indeed. It adds to the game, strategically placed objects will need protection and there is a chance to sabotage others. Or add to the structure, technically when you can steal you can also add, if you have a road close to your city you can add an extra fork to come your way.
  7. This would solve a problem but would limit you aswell, unless we get ultra large cores. But the idea is to not needing pricy cores and still be able to build infrastructure, If your plan would be combined with a sort of "B" core that limits you to only a set of elements but is alot cheaper to produce i would agree.

  9. Hi All I want to discuss an idea to maybe counter a problem that will prohibit us from building massive projects. Monorails, bridges, infrastructure, roads, anything not needing complex elements but only the basics and voxels. The problem is we are now limited to build in a box that is limited by core size. If we want to build civilization including roads, bridges and everything we will need to place a massive amount of cores. What i want to propose is a system where you can build outside a core with basic materials. The startpoint of the build must be in a core but the build itself may be outside it. rights management stops outside the core and anything build outside the core is regulated on territory level. So if you have a TU or STU in place, the structure is relative safe, If you do not have these, anyone can delete or destroy your structure. this is a necessity with the system, cores are regulated by rights and so are territories so anything build Outside a core is under territory rules, anything build with no TU or STU is free for all. However, this way we are able to build large structures like roads and bridges and monorails that would normally need a lot of cores. Limitation would be that these builds can only be build out of basic materials and voxels and anything would have no user rights on it although protected by TU or STU This system would make it possible to make roads to and from different cities or market places and between cores, creativity could be used to build bridges across water masses for creativity and RP, This way we could also build structures like space elevators or monorails or later Dyson spheres, all for creativity and the greater good of the community. This is also why i think it is needed, the greater good of the community. With this we will need to work together if we want things to be build, if org a and b want a monorail or bridge connection between their cities they will need to build together and secure it together, whether by force or by combined TU coverage. Also for federations, massive organizations, alliances and anyone who wants to connect this is probably the only way to build mass infrastructure without the need of thousands of cores polluting the lands and all the lagg induced by the right management on those cores. Please add your ideas and remarks on why yes or why no. technically this should be possible reasons behind that are NDA, sorry. Greetzz Aaron
  10. Uhm, While it is rejected as system, why not build it yourself? There are ways of building a monorail i think, just use some creativity.

Still i would like to build a part of the space city with futuristic Asian looks. With a Japanese corner, Chinese, Korean, Thai, you name it Would love it Nice to meet you!!
  12. Indeed, that is also the reason we do not have an NDA channel at Tranquility discord, just to keep it clean and practical and protect the residents. its better to have a clear stance on NDA then have accidents and unwanted consequences.

  16. Indeed ^^ Also you can choose what to solo and what not. If your going to live in a City with more players but do the rest alone your still alone in gameplay while your homebase is with others. Stuff like that

  19. Although you are necroposting the thing you say is a nice idea. It would be very nice to be able to use voice chat ingame. for alot of different reasons. Lets hope this is integrated at release

  21. Eternal, you are absolutely right. With no time invested no results can Or Should be expected. I do think with a hard working small team backed by, or working together with, a larger group or collective you can make things happen. but then again, the larger whole compensates for the smaller some. i played Aion since closed beta and indeed, the thing that started and what it is now is so totally different that the everenduring grind i started with is totally gone and now people go in and are lvl 70 in a week with no effort at all. DU must be different, Effort is needed as the complications of ones actions can be great. It should be possible to play solo, but rewards will be limited and probably solo-ing DU will be much roleplaying, litte effect on total gameplay, you will not be of any influence to the game. Unless your a terror bomber and you bomb all the TU dreadnaughts at the moment they want to invade lets say any federation and by doing that cripple their whole fleet so the federation can just cherry pick what ship to blowup first. Then you make an impact.

Hi Chepre, Yess You can play in small groups, for instance, for CATS we like to add groups/orgs of atleast 3 players to the confederation to do things together, those orgs remain fully independant. So thats something If you are not sure you can make it alone. But as an independent group i would recommend to contact the Inter-neutral assembly and Tilo as soon as possible But as groups of 3 you can make it, you just need a better plan and a place to operate from that gives you relative safety. think about living in a city like Tortuga (planet based) or Tranquility (space based). that way you have your security fixed. On the other hand, some organizations are in the middle size class and work with teams that allow semi individual play with adding a community to be social with and chat, groups like Bladesin mercenary Corporation or The outfit.   24. Why? all trades and cash will be between players, no NPC that will give quests, no added cash from the outside technically speaking so why a sink? It is not even clear how we can generate cash from nothing, let alone make it already disappear into a black hole. What i would like to see before we get a discussion on cash sinks needed for the overflow of cash is how NQ thinks cash is generated or provided. If no-one has cash at day 1 and no NPC generates cash and Ores cannot be used to craft cash in the end there will be No cash. Simple as that. Also, if NQ Gives everyone 10k in the end there will only be 10k times number of players including alts ingame, that is also an amount that in that case can never get larger. Add a cash Sink and in the end all Cash is gone. No added cash to the game whatsoever will always lead to a shortage of cash.
  25. And its no survival game and hopefully never will be. i dont care to watch out for PvP and traps and stuff But i dont want to watch my hunger bar or my sleepiness. But if this is implemented i want gigantic space Squidds
