  1. How it is right now is fine and it's not even overpowered. Before people could just click warp and instantly get away from a pilot if they payed attention to the radar. There's been plenty of times before that warp update where I'd go to an asteroid, see a ship, get ready to engage, all to just see them warp away in an instant. The timer they implemented evened the odds for pirates. Now haulers have to use other strategies to avoid getting killed. It's not "crutch after crutch" like you're saying. You're saying this like now it's impossible for haulers or anyone for that matter to go into pvp space without getting killed. Re-read what I said regarding the past year being expensive for pirates. You can still go to an older asteroid in the pvp zone and be relatively safe. The other thing alot of people don't do is go out to asteroids with friends, they just go solo. There is no universe where a solo miner is going to fend off some pirates. Most pirates go out with friends and you will not be able to defend yourself. You need a defense crew to help you mine at the exotic asteroids if you want to get out alive. This is why the avoidance strategy is best for the solo player. Also most people just end up panicking and have no idea what to do in the event of a pirate attack.
  2. What a joke of a thread, honestly For the last year pirates have been overspending when it comes to PvP. When we'd go out to asteroids, 90% of the time it end up with us spending warp cells and fuel for absolutely nothing. And the time there was something, it was mostly a tiny throw away ship that nobody even cared about. When we actually got a whale, I'd say we absolutely deserve it. Even when we killed big mission runners in the past, those people were already making tons of quanta so that they could repurchase the ship they lost 10 times over. and alot of times we just sold it back to them so they could redo their mission route. The fact that you think pirating is point and click clearly shows that you know very little about it. Most of the skill comes through how good of a pilot you are and there is no script like you're suggesting out there that's going to help you with it. You need to come up with ideas to avoid pirates like other players do. There's plenty of people who have avoided pirates by using good escape strategies or just using a throw away ship that they don't care about.
  3. Funny hearing the people try to say that NQ will get sued if they wipe. NQ can do whatever they want.
  4. I think only the older player base (which is dying off already) hate schematics. Since the mission update most people don't mind them, especially the newer players. I say keep schematics but maybe let everyone do tier 1 stuff without them.
  5. They will gain/lose people regardless of their decision. They should do a poll here to see what the community wants.
  6. At the very least make up your mind already. Some of us don't want to play or grind while waiting for your decision.
  7. You should just make a poll and see what people want. People are going to rage at whatever so we should see what gets the least amount of it. Personally I think we should just have a full wipe (constructs/talents/quanta/schematics) minus the blueprints. No magical blueprints either Currently I've amassed a shit ton in wealth. A wipe will get rid of all of that but I don't really care because I know I'll be right back to where I am now. But it'll be fun to build up again. I don't build pretty ships either or anything like that so building stuff doesn't matter much to me. I'm not so sure about the schematic removal. The introduction of the missions made it so people can get quanta much easier and purchase schematics. Even with the new mission system you guys proposed, people can still amass high amounts of quanta and therefore buy schematics. Maybe just remove the tier 1 schematics?
  8. Winning side should definitely keep the ships. Disincentives hit and run. Winner should try to collect the ships and leave the battlefield quickly instead of sticking around for enemy backup to kill them *wink* *wink*
  9. Can you expand on this comment you said "Big armored ships with powerful space engines" What do you mean by that exactly? What scenarios are you talking about? The PvP ships that most people are using now have no armor and only shield. or do you mean the haulers?

  11. Figures the only people happy about this are the people that don't want to enter the PvP zone. Goodbye asteroid mining and goodbye for reasons to PvP
  12. What will the first iteration of territory warfare look like? How soon will it arrive?

  14. Are there going to be any buffs or nerfs to engines or weapons anytime soon?
