Hey guys, actually backed this game almost as soon as it came on kickstarter but i never got active in the forums. Been watching the dev diaries and really getting hyped for this game though so figured id introduce myself. thanks for your time

NQ has mentioned that currently high-end systems should be able to handle it, which would be closer to mid-range systems at the time of release.

Hey all! The closer we get to alpha release the more excited I get. Just want to say what's up and that I look forward to seeing you all in game. I am not sure if I will be starting an org myself or joining one, but probably will be freelance for a while so don't stop yourselves from trying to persuade me to join your org. I am going to be very dedicated to this game as I feel it is going to be the best MMO the world has seen yet. Well see you guys in the universe!

Books could be written just on the politics of some orgs. Everywhere you look there are cultures being built and born. Personalities turn to legend, and it all melds into an imaginative roleplay. The world may be bare and blank when we first set foot in it, but there will already a rich tapestry of people to inhabit it. 

Update: We are all live and well, we got bursts of play-sessions together and all is jolly in the chats. And to top that off we've recently gone official with our site dualtuaf.com and we aim to customize it over time and get our soldiers online. Remember that we will require you to join TU as well and cope with some other requirements as well. We want to stay in shape of course.

That actually would be an interesting feature to have something that would help people make timelapses. I'm sure people will build some really cool things, and timelapse videos are the best way to share those.

You obviously have never been in a leadership role. 
I can tell you as a leader IRL, that talks about policy making will always be heated BEHIND CLOSED DOORS. They should be. I would be more worried for a group that all thought the same.
 
What you did was try to throw those doors open. Now your upset that the people who have either been part of those discussions, seen them, or are mature enough to understand people argue, are making you out to be the bad guy.

People who are friends dont act in the same way to each other as they do to strangers and that's ok. Just because you are less formal around friends does not mean they can't do something right when the game starts. There is a reason you are no longer allowed in the cinderfall syndicate and it is you a quite the drama queen and you can't understand how a private conversation between friends doesn't mean that the people involved cannot sensibly run a syndicate or how a conversation about the syndicate does not equate to the end of the world.
 
The reason why *it is us that overeacted* is wrong is because there is no reason for us to have to admit to doing anything wrong. We haven't.
 
As for neo and asto, why shouldn't they spend hours upon hours of their time into the syndicate to try and make it work. If they do, who are we to then say "stop being so involved". Don't nickpick, show an incentive to trying to make a way it could work
 
The problem is outlandish, you are a outsider to what is happening and you are too preoccupied with trying to find a story to bother to realise what you are doing. Rather than *revealing the truth* your just selfishly trying to install paranoia and fear over CSYN and you are just trying to make urself seem more important.
 
Here's a parting tip for you: dont try to undermine what people have built for selfish and petty reasons, instead, try to help make a better society, a better community for dual universe. Instead of trying to spread fear and paranoia over small and insignificant matters, try and find something that you can believe in, that matters. I truly hope u can find it

No problem. CSYN's big pluses revolve around its members. As a member of SilverLight, you and the entirety of SLI are protected under the Syndicate's Defense Pact. In addition, you will be hooked into the entire Cinderfall network, where you (specifically as a builder and manufacturer) can reach a wider audience to market to among other Cinderfall members. More collaborations will also be possible, as you will also have access to some of the greatest creative minds within DU.
 
After all, with almost 200 collective members, there is almost no limit on what you can achieve with teamwork and collaboration.

Band of Outlaws has a new logo, and this time we'll be sticking with it for some time. Since I started BOO, the culture has changed in to something I didn't expect it to, I really feel like we are coming in to our own identity finally and this here proves it. Special thanks to Willie and Blacksythe who helped put this together after listening to me for hours droning on about what I wanted. We may go through a few more iterations of this as time goes on, but the design itself will always be our "face".
 
Also, thanks again to Aetherios for our original logo. While we won't use it as much anymore, I'll always appreciate you lending a hand to me to help get this off the ground whenever much of the community here would of rather scolded me because grr boo. 
 
We have much more exciting news coming out within the next week or two and I can't wait to share it with everyone.

Purpose: Cinderfall's Directive
 
Simply put, Cinderfall exists to maximize its members’ ability to enjoy Dual Universe.
 
The Cinderfall Syndicate is an organization established to provide an international identity and means of cooperation between both individuals and organizations. It is not a typical corporation, nation, or alliance. Rather, the Syndicate is the manifestation of a mutually beneficial agreement between people and organisations that certain basic laws need to exist in order for all of our members to enjoy life in the universe, as they did in the Golden Age of Earth.
 
Perhaps parallels can be drawn between Cinderfall and the United Nations, but we extend far beyond the scope of a simple coalition. Cinderfall vows to rebuild civilization not through the eyes of a corrupt bureaucracy, but in the way humanity as a whole would have intended: to a universe of balance and harmony.
