This looks good. We will see where it goes I don't think this is supposed to be a replacement for DU Sleepers. How exactly the two will interact is yet to be determined it seems.

It sounds like our goals align. I hope to hear more from you in the future.

I think we will have this, but not pre-made. Players will make this auto-speed sync feature for some ships or take it further and make auto landing and parking.

This was answered on the DU community discord server, but basically the current answer is as yama said. A: No one else will be able to break your constructs in the safe zone. They can probably still find ways to grief it though unless you own the territory. There will be organizations that will sublet their territories (if possible) so you might be able to get peace of mind that way. Some other Q&A from the discord: Q: If no one else will be able to break my construction, the spawn zone will be full of random senseless constructions ? That prevents the trolls from just filling the safe zone with dicks that no one can break ? A: If the territory is not owned then yes, Pretty much. That is one thing that has not been clarified by NQ completely. Each construction has the creators/owners name on it. So it will be easy to trace who did it. Q: I suppose the spawn safe zone will not be claimable right ? I mean, an organization can't own the place where everyone spawns A: Yeah the arkship itself will be neutral, with some NPC traders at the beginning to get currency into the economy.

This poll is very limited. What about: Prospecting? Construction? R&D? LUA scripting? exploration in general (there are more than just planets). What about arena battles? How about hovercraft races? How about hanging out with friends and having a laugh? These are just some of the things I am excited about. And this is just off the top of my head.

The people have spoken! And now: A deathmatch between the three winners! Though you will have to wait till the arena is built in DU.

I for one, welcome all anti-toxins to DU. Hope to see a DU community with the toxicity being the minority (or non-existent) rather than the rule.

I would suggest taking a look around first, maybe even visit some discord servers and see where you feel you feel at home.

I would like to see the territory unit anywhere in the hex. From the deepest hole to the highest pole. It looks so good, why not have a viewing room

Communication array should be for... communication. If a ship is broadcasting, then they are not being particularly stealthy. But if they, say, could switch off their comms or decrease its scope to a direct LOS beam...

This is completely correct. They should be dropped by space whales instead.

No weapons on constructs (that's everything constructable not just ships) is a turn off for many, so they won't pledge, and so the game won't get what they want most in it. Self fulfilling prophecy. It will be the first thing added to the game after release, even if the stretch goal is not reached. So worried, I am not.
