  1. If nothing is associated with that "dirty state" then it's only a "feature" for roleplayers (and tbh I dont really see any reason to roleplay that, but ymmv) and everyone else just ignores it. If some negative effects come with it then its just adds to the tedious parts of the game as it's just "one more thing you have to do" (go clean yourself) without adding anything.

     

    Thats why food mechanics ala "you have to eat every day to not die" are bad imho, as they dont add anything except chores

    It would be more easy for me to explain this way.   Otherwise i could resort to the old faxing system.   It's up to your team how fast and which way they would like to communicate.

    I also have a few new questions about voxel placements ( dirt) according to new asteroid placements.

    We've been there. We had that. It utterly failed in a quite spectacular way. So nope, they wont do it. And even IF they would do it, they'd just listen to you and then forget about it, even if it were valid points. We see this pattern for years now, NQ will not change

    no it doesn't support your argument at all. subs drop because there is nothing to do, or because ppl are bored. or because schematics are a nightmare to them....you don't know why they leave. it's just your personal bias that you think it supports your argument, which is a logical fallacy.

     

    Again, pvp != griefers. don't conflate the two as they have NOTHING in common. If you constantly conflate those two then you constantly paint pvp players the wrong way

     

    As someone else pointed out earlier:

    PVP finally gets some attention after 7 YEARS and it needs WAY MORE than that as it still is a pretty boring and weak pillar of the game. Every other pillar and aspect of the game received way more attention and love than pvp - which is fine, because you first need a foundation first (and tbh that foundation is still not there but that's another topic).

     

    DU was always meant to be a FFA pvp game with the vast majority of the game being in the pvp zone - and only a small portion of it being in safe zones. Those got extended already, which is totally fine. All that pvpers ask is a fun game where conflict over ressources, politics, wars and interesting, engaging, emergent and fun gameplay prevails. Which can't happen when everybody can do everything in the safe zone.

    So that coal found in the pvp area is better than coal found on alioth.  For example,  limestone made into x2 space fuel...limestone on alioth would make what's in the game now. But ore found on an Asteroid near ion could be of exceptional purity making fuel that gives an additional 50 to fuel efficiency when used. This way we keep risk vs reward  but allow t4 ore on asteroids in the safe area in more limited quantities 

    well that's what is there now, basically, too. some materials are only found in pvp zone. wouldnt change anything at all. because ppl who wage war in pvp will only ever use the more superior material instead of the low value ore found in safe zones. you know, just like now.

    i dont get your point here. that's exactly what is ingame right now - with the T1-5 ore. doesnt matter if they rebrand it, or introduce new stuff. there will still be better ore in the pvp zone as in the safezone. doesn't change anything.

     

    besides: risk vs reward is crucial here and creates oppertunities for gameplay. dont want to risk mining in pvp zones? dont go there. and maybe someone else will take that risk and sell you that ore....for a higher price ofc.

They could just change the values as you move through the atmosphere and have actual object detection so they dont fire straight through objects. NQ never does things the smart way.
