  1. Exactly. Regular paying subscribers get Monday - Thursday support with 1-2 months response time. "Selected few" can get a couple of hours response time during weekends.
  2. Those questions are very relevant and can shed some light to how we are intended to play this emergent sandbox game. Therefore it should be public, having it in private ticket makes no sense.
  3. 1) Assume you are a player that plans to use DAC. You have no way to "start". You don't have a trial so you can't farm(mine) you first DAC to start the process. This will make DAC option only available post initial purchase. 2) Assume you are a returning player, you may have quanta for DAC but there is no way for you to purchase and activate the DAC as your account is suspended. The other game that has lots of similarities with DU fixed "2" by allowing 24h reactivation of a suspended account. "1" could not be fixed and had they had to enable a trial.
  4. There is no such rule in the linked article about exploits clarification. The only rule there is not to get other constructs "parented" to yours. There is nothing about "transporting". Therefore I find it hard to understand what Deckard is talking about. WTF is "transporting" ? If you fly to PVP and I follow you do I transport you ? If you are flying to pvp space and I my avatar is aboard your ship, do I transport you ? Do you transport me ? Should you stop flying and adjust your course because you can transport me to PVP space ? Writing rules and using loose language is worse than not writing them at all. Sawafa gives a clear examples of what can be done and asks if those are allowed or not. Their rules say: Don't try to make a ship docked to yours so you can drag it to PVP space and shoot it. Ok I get it. They said use common sense for other things, my common sense says: if a ship, without any external influence and for whatever reason flies to PVP space on it's own - I can shoot at it and claim it. This game is SANDBOX with EMERGENT GAMEPLAY. Finding ways to make it EMERGENT is what all this game is about. If the only PVP that NQ allows is that "Event" type consensual PVP, NQ please state it so I know to unsub.
  5. And some update: The constructs (both S and XS) just disappeared from our base. Seems like if you are a French lua developer and file a ticket you get fast response time as any issues we file get a generic response only after about 1-2 months. Still no statement from NQ or anything while the constructs just vanished. Wondering should we have been like an assholes to just deconstruct it and erase whatever was there as it seems no one cares about regular paying subscribers. God knows why I paid 40 euro to reactivate two of my accounts just a week before...
  6. You can't extract it from the construct, that's why we have to use BPs. There are some special characters and he said there is some code or data in the databank...
  7. Once i hear DAC and no f2p/trial i laugh as there is no way to use your DAC in this case. The f2p they described is again an eve online ripoff as most of this game.
  8. I like the game but tbh losing hope. It will most likely be sold to game milking company like gamigo that will introduce every possible f2p monetisation possible to bring some revenue short term. They will promise fresh starts on new servers claiming "now we do ot right". cheap "power ups" like double skill training to "catchup" etc with 0 new additions to the game. Once everyone who still plays is fed with this the game will just die. Even that scenario is not certain due to high backend requirements to run the thing. (I know situations where traffic requirements are bizzare) NQ obviously running out of money and no one is gonna pay for their current "product" as it doesn't even work.
  9. As the script is supposed to be open source but I can't copy/paste it (so I can't upload it to github etc) due to "special characters" or whatever - we only figured out this way of sharing it. Ship that had the script was not DRMed so we did blueprints of it. 100k so people don't trollbuy it (if they do, ok, making a blueprint is cheaper) Anyone who wants it can get it but from what we see it was not complete and it's practically useless to anyone other than the author. District market 6
  10. Voxels only absorb pvp damage. Tips on how to upgrade any non pvp ship: 1) check stats 2) remove all voxels 3) check stats again and see that they have improved 4) ..... 5) profit This makes the whole point of all the voxels a pure RP thing and nothing more.
  11. We do hop from ship to ship in safe zone. DU has so much to offer to PVP you know... Yea, we do that too if the target ship is very juicy. I am SL of Anarchy and almost the only guy that speaks English(it's a Russian org). I was not even there. The price is set by the guy that actually got it. Why would I hop off ? I find a ship, it is heading to PVP space(as that's what trajectory ship owner has gave it). I sit there and wait for it to get there + my friends can track it by locking me... Sometimes it hits a planet or something but if you have experience you can predict it in advance and not waste time.
  12. Some clarification regarding the script: We first thought it was some "for profit" project, like that autopilot that is being sold for 10mil a pop and we thought we got a source of it. Pirates know about Rum and yarrrr not that much about AR. I have talked to Ellas and it seems this is an "open source" and free project that is going to be released to the community so it's "for the greater good" of everyone. We have a rule in Anarchy that everyone decides on his own what to do with the loot he got. After communicating this information(that script is free for all when finished) to my Anarchy folks we decided to give the script back to the owner. Due to the script being kinda unique (it contains some special characters or something so you can't just copy/paste it) we are currently figuring out how we can give it back.
  13. It was heading to somewhere and got tilted by gravity from what I know. No, there was no construct that belongs to me or my org or any of the involved UNTIL it got to PVP space. Then we used our construct to blow it up. It had "hidden speed" think what happens when you logoff and your ship has speed. It will stop until some avatar steps on it. Then it will resume your old speed -5% The mechanic of the speed getting to 0 and then back when someone is on board is VERY VERY confusing(worst part of 0.23 imho) but that's what we have and we try to work with it.
  14. There was no "parenting" involved. Say you are flying from madis to alioth at 30km and do alt+f4. I come to your ship. According to JC: if you see it and it moves, it continues to move. Now they have a limitation(or a bug) that you don't start calculating physics of the ship you see until you jump on it. If you jump on it, it continues to fly as it should and will eventually leave the safezone. What is an exploit here ? You left a ship that was heading to PVP space, it got to PVP space and got blown up. If you dock it to space station(real one built on space core, not one that looks like space station but is in fact a dynamic core) it will stay there and not move. What's the problem?
  15. Can someone confirm that this script is actually a community one ? Is it open source one that will be available for free like dimencia hud ?
  16. To anybody wondering: Ellas told it was "docked to station". Some assumed it was a legit station. The station was in fact another dynamic core. NOT A STATIC CORE. What happened: 1) He left his ships in space not docked to any statics 2) One of our guys jumped on top of it with his avatar and the ship resumed speed augmented by gravity 3) They waited for it to get out of safe zone (the gravity tiled the trajectory a bit) 4) They blew the ship up and cored it 5) Some guy comes and starts accusing of exploiting and talking about some code etc.
  17. You come across a ship that is flying to PVP space. You shoot it and core it. Now someone comes and says hey, there was that and that in it. So what ?
  18. How to make small ships viable ? Just copy/paste the rest of the mechanics i guess.
  19. By the time we get there they will add stuff that compensate. Like soft wiping wealth by introducing higher income and "power" or whatever to limit solo player mega factories. The question is, will DU get there at all or not as there is 0 reasons to play atm.
  20. I think NQ should allow indy on ships with huge disadvantage. Like x5 time or something. Will be useless for any factory but can make some interesting "support" ships etc to make like ammo and fuel.
  21. I build AGG S and M. S profit margin is better and requires less investment (M is just too slow to build, you get like 2 every month). That's why their price is high. Even with high price not sure it's worth it. Beacons have good profit margin but market is as stable as 75year old man d??k. You never know what you will sell it for. Rare engines have more produced than there is a market for. Exotic weapons, do you know the state of the PVP and that there is no PVE ? You can buy to have those to "when it finally arrives" but not really necessity (WTS exotic precision rails). /market analytics There are less "big orgs" and more "tycoons". You don't need an org to get it right, you just need to play economics right, do math, make a plan and stick to it. There is 0 interest in "orgs" atm.
  22. I don't know, I barely login nowdays. Playing "guess the bug" is not fun. Asked ally mate in discord to check it out and he said its still broken.
  23. Yes. Any "player run market" turns into capitalism at some point. There is no avoiding it without ruining the "player run economy" as capitalism is a product of free market. DU got to that point extremely fast. Why?: 1) Many players were not MMO players and did not value quanta while others knew quanta makes quanta and had exponential growth. 2) Playing with voxels at the game launch was fun, playing excel was not. Stuff like containers had 300% profit margin at start of beta. Having 1mil and multiplying it by 3 every day. Think what happens after a week. 3) Schematics fiasco 4) pre 0.23 6 out of my 10 warp beacon factories started. They did only stop after completing the cycle... 5) Some good heists had small amount of people generate even more wealth. Not everything is on NQ but stuff like "3" obviously is. Players did their part too, thank you for selling me ore and buying my containers at the start of the beta. I know some people that still think "they will get to economy later" and "for now I buy warp drive schem because I want to build 4 of them" etc. I am tired of arguing.
  24. Person A joins corp C where person B is super-legate/CEO. After 2 months person A makes corp K and transfers assets to it. Person A claims it's belongs to newly found corp K as the assets were acquired during his participation and under his leadership. Person B claims it is a corp theft. Have fun SB GMs figuring this out. There is reason why sandbox is a sandbox and why GMs should not intervene if no exploits are used. This is only 1 simple example. Let me not get started on how they gonna enforce their "Luring people to pvp space is not allowed". This is just bs. P.S: Last article in your blog: https://mmopress.wixsite.com/newmeroviachronicle/post/story-time-orion-and-large-prey explains how AC docked and dragged another ship to space(against his will) and destroyed it: While doing so, one of the AC ships slid in close the the SC Orion causing it to dock with the larger ship and took itself and the now docked SC Orion back into the combat zone. The weapons of the three L AC warships blazed to life and the SC Orion erupted into fire. This is described as exploit and bannable offence: Parenting Ships - Dragged to PVP Space https://support.dualthegame.com/hc/en-us/articles/360016890940-Clarification-Regarding-Bug-Exploits-and-Griefing So AC should get sanctioned as they did exactly this as you explained. You say rules in sandbox is a good thing right ?
